Transcending Realms With My Leveling System As A Demon-Chapter 82: Mordain Avaris VS Noelle Crucifix 4
Zylus structured himself, powerfully gaining back his malicious presence. As Mordain gazed back at the bodies that Zylus killed, the system had displayed the messages he was waiting for.

A curious word, more or less, maybe a technique. But on his system, it only displayed that word, βConnection.β Whether it was a technique or not didnβt matter much; all that did was how confident Zylus seemed.
"Theyβre dead now," Mordain grinned, "you saved me time."
"Quite the opposite," Zylus said, as his systemic flow started growing, but it combined with something otherworldly, "you helped me."
And in that moment, he placed his index finger onto the button and whispered out, "Connection.β

Zylus stepped forward, and Mordainβs expression said it all; his opponent was afraid.
"Whatβs wrong?" Zylus asked creepily, "I donβt look human anymore?"
Zylus didnβt look like a being that should be placed on Htrae. He seemed more of a monstrosity than a Demon or a Human. He now became The Transcendent Soverign, and this sudden power up came from his constant improvements, continuously going through missions when in a severely weakened state. Zylus had finally received what he deserved: a special card.
Mordain stood there, he tucked his muscles closer to his core, somehow letting out extraordinary Systemic Flow that sucked into one position, around him completely.
Mordain knew if he didnβt pour as much strength as he could now, he wouldβve been dead.
Zylusβs look didnβt change at all; it was just his uneasy presence that even a regular individual can sense. It had an alarming feeling, one that legitimately canβt be explained, by an expression that even the fifth rank brought up.
βFear.β
Zylus continued to step forward, his face was vigorously awaited Mordainβs demise. Zylus kept his Demonic Katana by his side as Mordain started sweating heavily.
...
Shank! Zylus swiped off Mordainβs right arm cleanly.
"Ahhhh!" Mordain yelled, painfully looking at his right side.
Strrrkk! Zylus swiped off Mordainβs left arm. He didnβt leave room for wasted movements or breaths, every action had meaning.
"Ahhhh!" Mordain yelled once more, falling on his but onto the stone.
Zylus bent over, his katana looked cold by his side, his eyes pierced through Mordains.
"Youβre weak," he grinned, "I expected more."
Mordain couldnβt breathe, yell, or say anything properly; he was in an extreme state of shock, as if Zylus had taken control of his entire life.
"Hrhsh! Hesheh!" Mordain just spat out random nonsense; his mouth moved uneasily, and his eyes couldnβt even comprehend the position he was in.
Mordain bent over on his knees, watching Zylus completely dominate him.
"I would rather let you die with pain," Zylus whispered, "I didnβt know a fifth rank could be this weak."
Mordain just looked at Zylus pathetically.
Zylus pierced Mordainβs leg.
"Ahhhhh! Hehdhf!" Mordain felt pain and had disappeared from the face of reality itself, "Hehgh!"
Zylus laughed, "This is too much fun!"
He stabbed a hole into Mordainβs left leg now.
"Ahhhh!" Mordain continued spewing other nonsense in the presence of fear and pain.
"Come on!" Zylus yelled, "Youβre having fun! Arenβt you?!"
Again and again, he stabbed Mordain. Without hesitation, he didnβt care about Mordain, not one bit. Zylus remained emotionless.
Just then, Zylus kicked Mordain all the way back into the arena walls. Mordain slammed into the stone curvature, and he couldnβt help but spit up more dead.
Mordain was about to die, and nothing was stopping this new evil Zylus from doing so.
Zylus stepped forward. He walked maliciously; he wanted the last blow to feel painful, so that Mordain could feel it all.
"Weβre from the same realm, but I canβt help myself from torturing you." Zylus said, "Especially when you look so pathetic." His grin widened as he now moved at speeds incomprehensible within this realm.
It was the Cosmic Speed Limit. Also considered is the speed of light, just on it. But he didnβt even need to move this fast to defeat Mordain; Sub-Light speeds wouldβve probably been enough.
However, it was Zylusβs strength that overshadowed these abilities completely. He had enough force to cut through Mordainβs barrier technique, which was also considered a top defensive barrier option for protection.
Mordain looked emptily, as Zylus stepped forward, prepared to create the final blow.
But just then, something clung onto his skin.
"Theyβre here," Zylus whispered, "Letβs see how powerful I truly became."
And around Mordain, spawned the top four-ranked hunters, including the new Demon king, Chris Tall. And aside from these was Ivy Noctis, the healer.
Their gazes darkened upon the sight of this newly evolved Zylus.
"Heβs become this powerful already. This is bad." The Second-Rank calmly disputed.
"We have to kill him right now, after what heβs done." The Third-Rank added.
"We canβt," The Fourth-Rank declared, "heβs too strong right now-"
And just then, Zylus teleported in the middle of each of them, slicing Mordainβs head fully.
"And, heβs finally dead."
All of them looked back in shock, surprised at how fast he had just moved. Chris Tall himself was also amazed.
They backed away, not wanting to risk any consequences.

And just like that, Mordain Avaris, the man who was considered a top-five rank, was now dead. By one man, that now was feared across every realm, Zylus Elwis.
He has become something more than a Demon; he is now an anomaly.
"So tell me," Zylus looked around, seeing how everyone backed off, except for Ivy Noctis, who stood there, afraid. "Why did you back off just now?"
And they stood there, each one of their grins nervously widened, none of them had any confidence in this duel.
