Chapter 795: Chapter 795: Did They Perish in the Sea?

Her heart rang loud alarm bells, and her eyes suddenly became sharp!

Her hand slid down her thigh, and the knife fell into her palm.

A cold white light traced an arc, slashing toward the opponent’s chest.

The opponent dodged and grabbed her hand.

Aurelia Shaw loosened her fingers, the knife fell into the palm of her other hand, blade upward, thrusting directly at the opponent’s neck.

The blade grazed past the opponent’s neck, her wrist was seized, the strength so immense she couldn’t move it at all.

Unable to move her hands, Aurelia lifted her knee, but the opponent pressed down on her leg.

During their struggle, they fell onto the bed.

She was pinned underneath, this unfamiliar sensation made Aurelia particularly repulsed, and she twisted the knife backward, intending to use a desperate method, when a low, familiar voice sounded in her ear:

"Planning to murder your husband?"

"Mason Nightshade?"

She hadn’t recognized it was him.

She had been so lost in thoughts of her past life, she thought it was some intruder, not realizing it was him for a moment.

"Why didn’t you make a sound?" Her hand pinched his waist.

How did he discover she loved pinching people?

"Wanted to test your skills."

Aurelia angrily bit into his shoulder.

Did he know she almost fatally attacked him just now?

Mason Nightshade rubbed the back of her neck, the most vulnerable part of a person’s body, and when Aurelia felt a tingling sensation spreading through her entire body, she suddenly realized that she had no defenses against Mason at all. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Thinking of this, she was the first to laugh.

"You couldn’t hurt me." He sensed the heaviness of her bite, understanding she was genuinely angry, and softly coaxed, "I have boundaries."

"What boundaries do you have?" Aurelia scolded him, "Are you so sure I can’t hurt you? What if I decided to take us both down? What if I attacked you when you were unguarded? Or what if I sabotaged a part of your body?"

Speaking so seriously, Mason raised his eyebrows.

How could he forget his woman was always cunning, never letting herself suffer losses.

"Alright, it was my fault this time, I absolutely won’t do it again, alright?" Mason admitted in a low voice.

Aurelia didn’t dwell too much on this issue, her anger stemmed from concern, and she was even more afraid something might really go wrong with him.

"What’s the situation now?" she asked.

"A sudden storm, with no prior warning, and looking at this situation, it’s unclear if it will stop." Mason furrowed his brow.

Aurelia lifted her hand, her beautiful fingers rubbing his furrowed brow, curving her lips into a smile as she asked him, "If this storm doesn’t stop, and we really perish in this sea, are you afraid?"

The word "afraid" was something she couldn’t see in Mason.

"Not afraid," Mason said.

Just as she had expected.

"And you, are you afraid?" Mason asked her, his eyes shining brightly in the dark, fixing on hers, as if her reflection was visible in the depths of his dark eyes.

Aurelia shook her head, embracing Mason, "There’s nothing to fear."

She originally thought she would resist dying as a nobody.

Never having anyone remember her, nor having made those who wronged her in a past life pay the full price.

But in this moment, she found she didn’t have the fear she imagined, as if as long as she held this person’s hand, she believed he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.

If the two of them really died together here, this ending wouldn’t be so bad.

It’s better than one of them living alone, with the other living in pain.
