Chapter 759: Chapter 759: The Secret from Fifteen Years Ago

Aurelia Shaw and Mason Nightshade were training when an unexpected guest sought out Sophie Nye.

Cymbeline Jennings, having no way out, was forced to ask Sophie Nye for help.

Among all the people she knew, Sophie Nye was the only one powerful enough to help her.

Now Nico Spencer had already abandoned her, and her daughter was locked up in a mental hospital.

If this continues, sooner or later, Nico Spencer will want to throw her out, clean and penniless, like he did with his former wife.

Upon hearing from the servant that Cymbeline Jennings was looking for her, Sophie Nye immediately instructed her staff to say she wasn’t home.

Hmph, daring to come to her under these circumstances.

Her daughter had been ruined by others, yet she still dared to ask her to facilitate her relationship with Mason Nightshade. Luckily, it didn’t work out.

No wonder Mason Nightshade hasn’t been showing her a friendly face lately.

No matter how uninvolved Mason Nightshade might be with the company’s matters, he still hears some of the rumors.

The thought of almost introducing such a worthless person to her son disgusted Sophie Nye, and she started to resent her long-time good friend along with it.

"I’m sorry, our missus is not home," the servant answered respectfully.

The car was parked in the yard; would Sophie Nye go out and not drive her luxurious car?

Cymbeline Jennings knew her best friend well, she must be ignoring her on purpose. She immediately shouted, "Sophie Nye, I know you’re in there. I need to talk to you, Sophie Nye! Come out!"

"Hey, stop shouting. Madame is really not outside..."

Cymbeline Jennings, though pampered, was unstoppable when she got riled up. The servant couldn’t contain her and immediately called the bodyguards to throw her out. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Cymbeline Jennings fell to the ground, her expensive and luxurious clothes soiled with dirt.

She got up from the ground awkwardly, a fierce glint flashing in her eyes. She dialed Sophie Nye’s number, only to have it hang up on her.

"Heh..." Cymbeline Jennings snorted coldly, Sophie Nye, since you’re heartless, don’t blame me for being unkind!

She composed a message and sent it over.

In less than a minute, Sophie Nye’s call came through.

"Cymbeline Jennings, what do you mean by what’s in the message?"

Cymbeline Jennings smiled coldly, "Exactly what the message implies. You thought no one knew about what you did fifteen years ago? Never thought I’d witness it, huh?"

"What do you want to do?" Sophie Nye asked through gritted teeth.

Cymbeline Jennings’s lips curled into a smile, "We’ll talk when we meet."

Cymbeline Jennings was invited back inside. In the bedroom, she met Sophie Nye, who was as dazzling as ever, and her eyes narrowed from the sharp sting.

Sophie Nye sat on the couch, looking down at her. The words Cymbeline Jennings spoke indeed surprised her; she hadn’t anticipated someone would witness that event, but even if they did, what then?

"What do you want?" Sophie Nye ordered the servants to leave, leaving only the two of them, and asked.

Cymbeline Jennings sat on the opposite couch, her smile serene, "Sophie, we’ve been sisters for so many years, if I had wanted to expose you sooner, why wait until now? You don’t need to be too guarded against me.

It’s just... sigh, there’s something I absolutely need you to help with. If you hadn’t shut me out, I wouldn’t be using this method."

"Just say what you want directly, no need for roundabout ways," Sophie Nye replied. She had never looked up to Cymbeline Jennings; if it weren’t for her ease of manipulation, she wouldn’t qualify to be her sister.

No matter how she calculated, she never expected this woman, once under her control, would one day be able to threaten her. Truly reckless.
