Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!-Chapter 718: Pick a time to train with me
Aurelia nodded, understanding that he was concerned about her and worried that something might happen.
"Aurelia, pick a time to train with me," Mason Nightshade said again.
Originally, he hadn’t intended to train her so soon. One reason was to accommodate her schedule, and the other was because he felt there was no rush, as they had plenty of time ahead. However, recent events seemed to involve her, making early precautionary measures necessary.
Aurelia was taken aback.
She actually understood Mason Nightshade.
The recent incidents were either related to her or involved people around her, and she indeed felt that the basic fighting skills she learned in M Nation were becoming insufficient.
So, she nodded, "Okay."
After hesitating, she added, "Let’s do it soon. The new female lead for ’Dawnsong’ hasn’t been cast yet, so I have some free time right now."
Mason Nightshade pondered for a moment, "Alright, I’ll decide the location, and you can follow my arrangements when the time comes."
"Okay."
Aurelia nodded in agreement.
Suddenly, she noticed that Mason Nightshade’s gaze had been fixed on her.
Looking down, she realized her clothes were soaked.
The damp clothing clung to her body, accentuating her front curves, tight and beautiful.
Suddenly, a familiar-scented coat was draped over her shoulders. Aurelia looked up at Mason Nightshade and saw him turn his sullen face awkwardly away, and she smiled.
She explained, "Worried about Manjie, didn’t notice the rain."
It’s quite rare for it to rain here.
Fortunately, this unusual weather had reminded her of the news report about Manjie’s accident, otherwise she wouldn’t have remembered what happened to Manjie.
"Hey, miss, you left your stuff in my car." A voice called out, and Aurelia looked over; it was the taxi driver from earlier.
The driver handed over the big bags to her. Mason Nightshade reached out to take them, glancing at the belongings, all of which were clothes and bags Aurelia had bought in the afternoon before getting in the car.
He frowned.
Suddenly, he felt a bit reluctant to train her, what should he do?
"Thank you," Aurelia thanked the driver.
"No problem." The driver scratched his head, "Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll leave now. Oh, right, about the umbrella in the rain..." He thought for a moment and withdrew the umbrella, "No worries, I’m leaving now."
Her boyfriend is here, why should he interfere?
He sighed, originally hoping for a chance to play the hero and rescue the beauty.
-
Aurelia sat in Mason Nightshade’s car heading to the hospital. The car Mason Nightshade brought was a military-grade off-road vehicle, which was conspicuous on the road. Luckily, it was nighttime, and there weren’t many cars, so not many eyes were drawn to it.
Halfway there, Aurelia received a call from Foster Fuller.
She was slightly surprised.
Why would Foster Fuller be calling her? Could something have happened to Manjie?
Aurelia nervously answered the call, holding her breath while listening to the voice on the other end:
"Miss Shaw."
Foster Fuller’s voice always carried a polite, somewhat distant tone.
"Manda just woke up and told me something, which I think might be related to you."
Related to her?
"Manda said there was someone named... Eliza Fletcher, kidnapped by someone named Leopard."
Eliza Fletcher kidnapped?!
Aurelia had a rough idea of why Manjie went to the bar. They must have used the kidnapping of Eliza Fletcher to trick Manjie into going to the bar, and then caused trouble for Manjie.
They likely threatened Manjie, saying that if she told anyone else about it, they’d take extreme measures, forcing her to come alone.
Aurelia’s eyes flashed with coldness as she looked at the half-dead man in the back seat, "Did you kidnap Eliza Fletcher?"
