Chapter 706: Chapter 706 Eleanor Spencer Stops the Car

Teaching only once also counts as teaching?

Aurelia Shaw thought with a mental eye roll.

But she never expected that Mason Nightshade, when he said he’d teach once, really meant only once.

Moreover, she found that though he was very strict, this strictness was also immensely attractive to her.

However, she began to question his statement: that if she were his soldier, he would go easy on her.

This sly wolf clearly wasn’t going easy at all.

"Boss, it’s time to head to the company. You have a meeting with Mr. Wu of Wilson Corporation about the contract this morning," Gustavo Yates’ voice sounded after an indeterminate amount of time.

It was only then they realized two hours had passed.

The two remained nestled on the sofa, with him holding her in his arms while she obediently nestled like a cat.

The little rabbit lay underneath the sofa.

Mason Nightshade found himself surprisingly fond of this peacefulness.

"Staying home today, what do you plan to do?" Ignoring Gustavo Yates’ urging look, Mason Nightshade asked her with great patience.

Aurelia Shaw lightly murmured and thought for a moment, her red lips parted, "Sleep."

She had nothing to do, and nothing she wanted to do. Usually so busy, she finally gave herself a holiday and wanted to rest more. Once she starts working, she would have to plunge back into a busy state again.

Mason Nightshade frowned.

A moment later, he picked her up from the sofa and headed upstairs.

"Come to the company with me." He made the decision for her alone.

Aurelia Shaw furrowed her brow.

"Reluctant?" Mason Nightshade looked down at her, catching every subtle expression on her face.

If she truly did not want to go, he wouldn’t force her.

But being cooped up at home constantly could be stifling.

He wanted her to go out, even just for a bit of window shopping.

"I’ll go," Aurelia Shaw said.

She had nothing else anyway.

She instructed Mason Nightshade to bring her the clothes she wanted to wear, changed into them, and with her hand in his, went downstairs, got into the car, and left.

Just as the car drove out of the gate, suddenly a sharp brake sound came.

Mason Nightshade quickly steadied Aurelia Shaw, frowning as he looked ahead, "What’s going on?"

"Someone suddenly dashed out from the roadside. Huh? Boss, it looks like Eleanor Spencer?"

The fog was too thick, and Gustavo Yates couldn’t see clearly. All he saw was a woman, disheveled, an impression vastly removed from the glamorous woman on TV.

"Bang bang!" The woman pounded on the rear window, and seeing the woman’s face through the glass, Gustavo Yates was now very certain it was Eleanor Spencer.

He glanced questioningly at Mason Nightshade.

Boss, how should we handle this situation?

Mason Nightshade cast a cold glance, indifferent, "Ignore her, drive."

Eleanor Spencer seemed to understand Mason Nightshade’s intent and pounded the car window harder, "Mason Nightshade, come out and meet me. Mason Nightshade, if you don’t come out to see me, I won’t leave. If you don’t see me now, I’ll go to your company to find you. I’ll wait until you meet me."

"Meet her," Aurelia Shaw spoke up then.

Mason Nightshade looked at her in confusion.

"Just a petty clown, let’s see what tricks she wants to play this time."

Mason Nightshade hadn’t intended to meet the woman, but since she wanted to, he obliged entirely.

"Stop the car."

Gustavo Yates stopped the car.

Mason Nightshade opened the door and got out.

Eleanor Spencer stumbled over, scared stiff when Mason Nightshade gave her a cold glance.

"Speak quickly if you have something to say. I don’t have time to talk to you here."

Eleanor Spencer finally snapped back to her senses, "Have you seen the videos online? Those videos are not real..."
