Grayson Quinn came out and saw a car taking Jovana Shaw away. He remembered the license plate; it was the Shaw Family's car. Clara Philips must have received the news swiftly and arrived so quickly, but it didn't matter. The people who needed to see the show had already seen it.

Flipping open his phone, he glanced at the online news. A faint smile appeared on his lips as he dialed a number, "Darling, keep an eye on a piece of news online for me these few days, don't let it get deleted. It's the one about someone getting doused with urine."

...

The car stopped at Nightshade Residence. Aurelia got out. He had driven the car back, and she didn't say anything. Since they had reconciled, there was no need to fuss over such matters, especially since they had been married once before.

"Ah! Young Madam!" Aunt Rong saw Aurelia and covered her mouth in surprise. Then, she looked at Mason Nightshade behind her, who seemed to be holding something bought from the supermarket, "Young Master."

Mason nodded, "You go rest first; I'll make dinner."

Aunt Rong looked at Aurelia, then at Mason, immediately understanding. She exclaimed happily and placed a new apron on the chair before heading back to her room.

When she went out, she ran into the butler. She tugged at his sleeve, "Don't go in and be a bother. Young Madam has returned. I think the Young Master and Young Madam might have reconciled this time."

"Really?" the butler exclaimed excitedly.

"Don't disturb them tonight. Have everyone in the house clear out so they won't bother the Young Master and Young Madam."

"I'm just going to tell them that." The butler hurried off.

...

"You're going to cook yourself?" Aurelia took the apron from Mason's hands and tied it for him. She knew he could cook, but somehow cooking seemed unfitting for Mason Nightshade, the CEO. Wasn't it a bit beneath him?

Mason turned, kissed the corner of her mouth, "You like eating what I make."

"What Aunt Rong makes is the same," Aurelia said casually, though she felt sorry for him having to cook. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

But Mason furrowed his brow, looking as if he'd been slighted, "You don't like eating what I make?"

"I like it, but..." Aurelia tried to explain, feeling as if she were bullying him. Clearly, she wanted him to rest more.

"As long as you like it. Be good, go watch some TV. The iPad is in the upstairs bedroom. If you want to play, go get it. I'll start cooking and have it done quickly." Mason kissed the corner of her mouth again and walked into the kitchen.

Aurelia went upstairs, brought down the iPad, and upon seeing Mason's busy figure in the kitchen, couldn't help but watch for a while.

"Aurelia, if you keep watching, we won't need dinner tonight; I'll just have you," Mason said without looking up, his calm voice uttering such flustering words.

Aurelia, holding the iPad, nestled into the sofa and suddenly felt something soft underneath her. She shifted and, upon a closer look, shrieked, "Ah!"

"What happened!?" Startled, Mason rushed out of the kitchen, not even having time to put down the knife. He quickly came to her side, squatted down, and anxiously assessed her, asking with furrowed eyebrows, "Did you bump into something? Fall? What happened?"

"I'm fine, just..." Aurelia looked at the soft bundle.

Mason followed her gaze, paused, and suddenly remembered.

"That day, I saw how much you liked Caspian Parker's cat and thought you must love small animals. Coincidentally, I saw someone selling little rabbits downstairs at the company, so I bought one." Mason picked up the rabbit and placed it on Aurelia's lap.
