"Miss Thompson? Miss Thompson?"
The voice calling beside her finally pulled Charlotte Thompson back from her daze.
"What did you just say?" Charlotte raised her weary eyes, looked at Elijah Walker in front of her, and asked softly.
Elijah Walker pushed the document in his hand toward Charlotte and replied, "These are the finalized design drafts. Do you see any issues?"
These days, Charlotte has been preoccupied due to her daughter Grace’s illness.
The work that should have been completed long ago has now been delayed for several days.
"Design drafts? What design drafts? When did this happen?"
Charlotte, who was just thinking about Grace, didn’t immediately understand what Elijah was saying.
