By the time Mistblade and Pine Bloom returned, the line had barely moved a quarter forward. The clock had just hit 7:00.

A breeze swept through the theme park, turning some of the players into fluttering petals that floated through March Theme Park, decorating the landscape alongside a Block moon that had appeared who-knows-when.

Rita calmly ran an internal check of all the game items inside her body. To her relief, nothing had been lost this time.

Further up the line, however, two players suddenly left their spots and rushed toward the vending machine.

7:18.

There were only a dozen or so players ahead of Rita now.

Nivalis, piloting the Star Pirate Ship, hovered in front of her and handed over a Block box pieced together from several flat fragment Blocks. The box was tightly sealed—no scent escaping.

"Hi there, please leave a five-star review," she said.

Rita chuckled, accepting the box. She'd already learned from 913 that it was filled with dried grilled meat. But instead of opening it to replenish her stamina, she stuffed the box into the side of her ribcage.

That spot was tricky to reach—perfect. She could access it quickly if needed, but it was unlikely other players would think to snatch from there first during the Block-grabbing penalties.

The Star Pirate Ship hovered nearby, not in a hurry to leave. Nivalis clearly intended to wait with her in line.

The ship's signature starlight effects appeared beneath it while it was idle. Constellations formed from shimmering points of starlight gently lifted the ship into place. As the constellations shifted, the stars flowed like water, and the ship swayed softly like a boat at sea.

Rita munched on the meat jerky, watching Nivalis swinging lazily inside the cockpit, her Block-dragon head flopping back and forth like it had no bones. Rita could practically hear a goofy children's tune playing in her mind.

Nivalis barely had time to sway twice before she felt a burning gaze lock onto her.

Nivalis: ???

She immediately looked around, ignoring the way Rita stared at her like she was watching a slow-witted child. Her search eventually landed on Mistblade, who was staring directly at the ship.

Nivalis slowly reversed the Star Pirate Ship a bit. Mistblade's gaze followed.

A second later, their eyes met.

Mistblade: ˙—˙ ?

Nivalis: ˙Ꙫ˙ !

A sudden explosion saved them from the awkward moment.

Both turned toward the ferris wheel.

One of the cabins had detonated, blasting out seven charred players. They tumbled through the air like projectiles, spiraling in arcs around the wheel in a long, comical exhibition flight before crashing into separate cabins.

Mistblade, Pine Bloom, and Nivalis: …

Nivalis asked, "You're seriously gonna play this?"

Because if so, she wasn't going anywhere.

To be honest, even Rita was momentarily stunned. She had expected explosions—but not this level of spectacle.

After a pause, she tucked away the half-eaten jerky and messaged Nivalis:

"Go check the market for a camera or something similar. Even scattered parts would work—we can piece it together. Ask B8017913 if needed. Get one that works in public areas. If Pine Bloom gets blown up, take a bunch of photos. We'll sell them to Lidian at a high price."

Nivalis's eyes widened. "But… that's blackmail!"

Rita: "It's blackmail of Pine Bloom. If Lidian doesn't buy them out for a high price, I'll be disappointed in her."

The gates of hell creaked open.

Nivalis dropped a quick "On it!" and spun the wheel, speeding off to find her fangirl gear. As she passed Pine Bloom, she even cast a look of pity at her.

Pine Bloom: …I've got a bad feeling about this.

After a few seconds of trying to resist, Pine Bloom gave in and casually asked, "Where's she going?"

Rita thought for a moment. Saying "Nivalis wants to become your personal paparazzi" might be too obscure, so she offered a clearer explanation: "To make morally bankrupt money."

Pine Bloom: ?

Five more explosions later, the clock ticked to 7:47.

Rita had just stashed away the item she unlocked two minutes ago—Chavez's Time—when she finally reached the front of the line.

As soon as the previous player was shoved into their cabin, Little Gingerbread approached Rita and gestured for payment.

Before it could even finish the motion, Rita shoved her prepped Block into its hand and strode confidently into the game zone.

The moment she stepped into the area, the game rules echoed in her mind.

Ferris Wheel Game Rules

Entering the same cabin as another player triggers a duel.

Players cannot manually switch cabins.

Leaving a cabin mid-duel will reset any in-progress fights within that cabin; completed duels still count.

Duel Rules

All players' HP is set to 10. Healing is disabled.

After a duel ends, both players' HP is restored to full.

Any form of hit, regardless of skill type, deducts 1 HP. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

The first to reach 0 HP loses.

The loser is immobilized for 3 seconds, during which the winner can remove up to 3 Blocks from them.

A full duel consists of 3 rounds; best of 3 determines the winner, who proceeds to the next cabin.

In cabins with more than 2 players, each player must duel every other player once. The one with the most wins may exit the cabin (this escape is only possible every 2 minutes).

In multi-way fights, the final blow determines the winner.

A pair of players may duel a maximum of 3 full times.

Special Conditions

Stealth and shielding skills are disabled.

Control skills have their duration reduced to 0.1 seconds.

Using disguise skills will scramble Block alignment. Game items cannot be used, and if Blocks are taken, they will be drawn randomly.

Any Block that is more than 5 meters away from the player becomes property of the Divine Game.

To Exit the Game:

Complete 100 full duels, or

Enter every cabin in the ferris wheel at least once.

Explosive Rule:

If a cabin contains more than 6 players, it will explode.

All players inside will lose 5 random Blocks and be teleported to other random cabins.

Ferris Wheel Game Rules override all Theme Park rules.

It was the same rules she'd heard in Game Simulation and had explained to Nivalis and the others—but with more detail. It covered every loophole imaginable.

No leeching wins off weaklings. No clever tricks to drag vital Blocks out of harm's way. No wiggle room.

Little Gingerbread tucked the Block away and stood beside her, waiting for a cabin with only one player to rotate into place.

This wait time was indeterminate but never less than 2 minutes—the wheel took that long to rotate one slot forward.

A shadow identical to Rita appeared beside her.

Shadow Puppetry!

She had activated the skill the moment the game rules started playing in her mind.

Right after summoning the shadow, she used another skill—her secret technique: Mirage Creation.

Mirage Creation could temporarily replicate a piece of equipment she had used before. The basic version lasted 1 minute. The ultimate version could last up to 2 minutes.

She conjured a copy of A Big World, A Small Me.

Only with that in place could she ensure the original, stored deep inside her body, would shrink with her.
