There's No Love In the Deathzone (BL)-Chapter 778: Side Story 4. Endless Journey - 60
Chapter 778: Side Story 4. Endless Journey - 60
When Byul opened his eyes, he was back on his own bed, in the first floor’s bedroom. Snugged with a blanket around him, he could feel his clean body. What he couldn’t feel was the presence of his beloved hyung.
Getting up slowly, Byul tried to remember what happened the night before. He recalled the first round, and then the second he curiously accepted because he wanted to know his limit. On the third, he just couldn’t say no, and...were they going until a fourth one? Byul had no idea.
That being said, he didn’t feel any pain or extreme exhaustion like he feared. Perhaps Kar gave him a rejuvenating potion, but if his memory wasn’t impaired, the esper didn’t do anything he would consider as painful.
If anything, he probably passed our from overstimulation. The barrage of pleasure was just...
Byul shuddered as he recalled the sensation. Ah...that was why people loved sex. Heat rushed through his body which was remembering the pleasure, and he had to smack his cheeks to stop his mind from thinking about his hyung’s naked body.
"Aack--crazy! You crazy, Han Byul! Stop thinking about it!" Byul smacked his cheeks again, shaking his head to get rid of the picture. He couldn’t believe that his lower abdomen was already tingling again after all of those rounds.
Was he truly becoming a pervert?
"Byul?" the bedroom door opened to give him Kar’s worried face. The esper rushed toward him and held his cheeks. "What’s wrong? Are you okay? Do you feel pain anywhere?"
Byul stared at the panicked man in front of him, blinking slowly before reaching up and pulling the esper for a kiss. Kar was caught off guard and they stumbled back to the bed, still with lips softly connected.
"Hyung..." Byul stroked the bewildered face above him. "Last night was so good, Hyung..."
He could see red spreading across the beautiful face, and Byul giggled in delight. There was a mischievous satisfaction in making his cool hyung get all flustered.
"Was it really?" Kar whispered in worry. "I felt like I was the only one enjoying it last night."
Byul giggled again--this time in embarrassment. "That was...because I was in a daze, Hyung. It was so good I felt like I was losing my mind," he smiled sheepishly. "But everything’s fine, right? I am fine."
Kar sighed and hugged the younger man. "But I still couldn’t stop. I should have stopped before you passed out--no, I should have checked on your condition first before continuing. I--"
"Okay, okay--you can do that next time," Byul clasped the esper’s mouth. "There’s this thing called rehearsal during shooting, Hyung, so we can fix things we don’t like. Now we know I can’t do it four times in a row...I think? You can stop before that next time."
Kar got up and looked at the actor incredulously. "We can’t have you drinking potions every time, Byul."
Byul blinked and laughed after three seconds of silence. "I mean...I don’t think I need the potions if I didn’t pass out. Isn’t sore muscle and exhaustion normal after rigorous sex?"
"How do you know?" Kar narrowed his eyes.
"Geez, Hyung!" Byul grabbed a pillow and smacked the esper. "It’s not like we’re living in a cave! There are dramas and movies and books and the link..."
Kar let the pillow hit him while he chuckled in response. "Alright, alright," he held the pillow and leaned down to kiss the messy curls. "But you’re really fine? While we did it, did you feel pain anywhere?"
Byul quickly shook his head. "I’m fine, Hyung. It didn’t hurt," he said. "Just normal pressure an a li~ttle bit of sting--but!" he raised his hand before Kar could say something. "It was just a little bit, and it was gone soon because...because it felt good...you know?"
He quickly became flustered and embarrassed at his own words, and buried his reddened face on the pillow. It was so adorable for Kar, who carried him out of the bedroom in that curling position while peppering kisses on the actor’s face.
"Well, I’m glad," Kar sighed in relief while gently putting Byul down on the couch. There was already a glass of water and a mug of ginger milk warmed by a mana heating plate on the table. "I don’t think I can stop doing it, after all."
Byul pressed his lips shyly, because that was exactly what he was thinking.
"And I had no idea what I should tell Uncle Shin if something were to happen to you," Kar sighed again, this time with a slight shudder.
"Oh," Byul laughed. "Yeah, that would be...awkward..."
They looked at each other as something came to their mind at the same time. The awkward, uncomfortable expression they could see on each other’s faces told them they were thinking of the same thing.
"Byul...do your parents know?"
The actor gulped. "I don’t...think so? I don’t know about Mama, but...I don’t think Papa has any clue at all."
"Oh..."
"What about you, Hyung?"
Kar scratched his cheek. "I don’t think my Dad knows either..." he said.
There was another prolonged silence as Byul drank his water quickly in sudden nervousness. When the glass was empty, he asked the esper carefully. "Do you think...umm...we should tell them?"
Kar sat in contemplation with a serious face. Byul took his warm ginger milk and watched the esper think hard. "If Uncle Shin knows...do you think you’ll still be allowed to live here?"
Byul gasped. Reina was one thing, but Han Shin was more protective and conservative than people thought. Even as a couple, they didn’t do anything more than a kiss until after Reina proposed to him. When Byul decided to be an actor, he had to have a long talk with his father, listening about how dangerous and dirty the field was.
Only after Byul promised to never go to those wild parties and Rina promised him that her manager could protect him did Shin finally agree.
If he knew that Byul had a romantic and sexual relationship with someone living under the same roof...
Byul swallowed nervously, biting his nail as he recalled his sister. "Noona...never told Appa about her boyfriends..."
"Oh..."
Sometimes, it was more complicated if their families knew each other well.
From Kar’s side, his two siblings already knew. He also had a feeling that Zein knew about it. But Zein was also the type that considered it a secret until the person decided to divulge it, so he wouldn’t tell Bassena even if it was something about their son. But it didn’t really matter either, because if Zein said yes then it was a yes in the family.
For his part, the problem was not rejection.
"I feel like...it’ll end up either in scolding or teasing..." Kar muttered.
"I don’t want either of that!" Byul hugged the cushion, shaking his head.
It had been awhile--almost a year since they were together. Coincidentally, with how busy everyone was that year, there had been no family get-together after the graduation dinner last year--not even for Asa, who was busy having his own after-party with his civilian student friends.
Perhaps that was why, they hadn’t thought about this matter before. The three other children, of course, knew about them--naturally, since the girls were the ones setting them up in this situation. But it didn’t seem like any of them told their parents or uncles about this, and it became a secret that wasn’t really a secret.
Something like Nari’s many flings or Asa’s long courting attempt.
And now, Kar and Byul were confused.
On one hand, they were adults. They didn’t really have to get their parents’ permission to have a relationship. On the other hand, it was complicated if their parents knew each other, especially since they had known each other from babies. Since it was their first time having a relationship, it became even more confusing for them.
"Let’s not risk it," Kar said, taking Byul’s hand on his. "Just in case your father might get angry, we’ll keep it to ourselves for as long as possible."
Byul nodded quickly. "O-okay!"
"It’s not that it’s a secret, okay?" Kar said. "We just...we’re just not telling. We don’t lie. As long as people don’t ask, there’s no reason for us to tell anyone. But if anyone asks--well..."
Byul pressed his lips and giggled. "You sound like a CEO giving justification for their talent’s scandal, Hyung."
Kar laughed and kissed the fair forehead. "For now, let’s just enjoy us for ourselves," he decided. "First, by having breakfast. What do you want to eat?"
Byul wasn’t a big eater, especially in the morning--and especially before filming. But he felt like he had burned a week’s worth of calory last night, so he asked for a big breakfast both sweet and savory.
Honestly...it was kind of thrilling, having a secret relationship. Well, it was already a secret from the public anyway, but hiding it from their parents reminded Byul of a teenage drama, and it felt kind of fun.
If he had to face his Appa’s scolding later, well...he’d just think about it later.
With that thought, he enjoyed keeping his little--well, kind of big--secret with his beloved hyung. The perks of living together was that they could do whatever the moment they were both at home. Showering each other with love, acting spoiled, acting...naughty.
It was really hard keeping their hands off each other after that last line was breached. Pretty soon, the potion supply was emptied as Kar ’practiced’ his control and restraint.
But, hey--he managed to hold back and only did it once one night! Byul didn’t even have to drink any potion in the end.
When the filming started, it became harder for them to meet, however. While Byul wasn’t the lead, his scene was quite a lot. Some of it had to be shot outside of Althrea, so oftentimes, he had to stay the night. Before, Kar would just wait for his baby at home. This time, he came over to secretly visit Byul in the hotel room and had their jolly time satisfying their longing.
The girls called it a honeymoon period, and Byul would always blush profusely when they brought it up in the video call. Kar was right--they were already getting teased a lot just by the girls. He couldn’t imagine how bad it would be if everyone knew.
Keeping a secret was fine and all, but that also meant they had to be extra careful. What they forgot was that the place they lived actually belonged to someone else, and that someone could suddenly come for a visit without any warning.
[Kar! Byul? You guys at home?]
A call from the intercom rang and got the young lovebirds jumped out of the master bed to put on some clothes. Kar went through a quick inspection of the penthouse and went as far as burning the condoms with his magic before answering the door to his fathers.
"Dad? What are you doing here?"
Bassena arched his brow. "What the hell? I’m the owner of this place. What if I tell you I’m going to charge the rent?"
"I have money," Kar shrugged.
Bassena flicked his son’s forehead--or he meant to, but Kar smirked and flickered away like a fog.
"Kids," Zein rolled his eyes and stepped inside, ignoring his two man-childs.
It had been so long since he last saw the house, but it seemed like Kar kept it immaculate. He could even see some trinkets like cute cushions and decorations which he presumed were provided by the other resident.
"Hyung?" the bedroom door opened and a sleepy-looking Byul with messy hair came out. "Oh! Uncle?"
"Good afternoon, Byul. Were you asleep?" Zein smiled as the actor came out shyly, wearing a hoodie that looked too big for him.
Byul did not reply, only smiled sheepishly. Oh, well--Zein wasn’t there to pry. But now he was rather confused about how he should proceed with the news he brought.
"But really," Kar cleared his throat after succumbing to his dad’s chokehold. "What brings you here? You usually send a text."
"Hmm...surprise inspection?" Bassena smirked, almost making Kar cough and Byul yelped. Thankfully, Byul was a good actor and Bassena wasn’t serious. "Just joking. I’m here for a big piece of news."
"News?"
"Bass, maybe we should--"
"A Deathzone reclamation!" Bassena ruffled his son’s hair before Zein could prevent him. "The Northern Alliance is finally going to attempt it, and they have sent an invitation."
Byul blinked, staring at the widened, sparkling blue and amber while clutching his too-big hoodie.
