It was like a bad joke. The more Yura talked, the more the faces of her sons paled. It had culminated this as they expecte.

Their mother had come to this decision and she appeared to be quite serious about it.

But this was a drastic step and the only one who would receive any modicum of satisfaction from it would be Na Na and her son. Without Yura here, they could come and go as they pleased.

Caishen couldn't take another second of it and he said furiously, "This is ridiculous. You will do no such thing mother. This is your home where you have lived for over two decades."

She was also Zhang Xian's wife, Na Na was Wang Yong's wife. The moment their father legally claimed his old identity, Na Na's marriage would be invalidated.

Na Na chose that moment to butt in and she said, "If she is willing to move out then Yong can move in."

"You need to keep your mouth shut." Zhang Bo shouted.

Na Na would not be stopped however and she said insistently, "I will not come with him. I will stay back at the new house as the parents-in-law desire."

"I am not moving in, okay." Zhang Xian bellowed angrily.

He got to his feet and looked at the Zhang elders. "Mother, father, I think it will be best for everyone if I stay at the new house for now. I will visit as much as you want me to. I can even come everyday if that's what you wish but I will not move in."

He spoke so forcefully, so dominantly, driving his point home and making it clear that he would not be changing his mind about it.

Na Na was taken aback for a bit. She wanted Zhang Xian here. How else was she going to get closer to his parents. "Honey.." she started softly.

Zhang Xian ignore her and looked at his parents, his sons and his first wife. All he saw was pain and anger on the faces of everyone. He was tired of sitting in the back while they drove him in every direction as they wished. They had all but forgotten that he had a say in the matter as well.

"I think everyone should stop trying to make decisions for me as if I am an invalid." Zhang Xian told them. "It's hard enough having two families but watching you all push and pull each other while your lives fall apart in this way is not good. All it does is make me feel guilty because I am the reason it's happening."

Grandpa Zhang was quick to jump in and tell him. "No, Xian. It's not your fault."

Zhang Xian shook his head, respectfully disagreeing with his father. "This not being my fault is the only thing everyone seems to agree on. But if it's not my fault then whose fault is it?" He looked at Yura with heavily apologetic eyes and said softly, "I am sorry for everything. I am sorry that I do not remember you or what we shared. I am sorry that you alone have memories of our past. I am sorry because you are caught up in my mess. I am sorry that you had to raise our children on your own and I am sorry that Na Na went to your workplace."

He lowered his head, took a deep breath. "There is a lot I have to apologize for, including making you feel like you have to move out of what has been your home for a very long time. Please, don't leave. You deserve to live comfortably in your home. The least I can do for you right now is to try and ensure this."

He wanted to apologize or bringing Na Na to this house to see the elders. All of this drama could have been avoided if he simply came over on his own for a meal.

He walked over to Na Na calmly and pulled her off of her knees. "Let's go."

Na Na struggled against his hold, slapping at his wrist lightly because she still had so much more to say. There was next to nothing she had accomplished. She needed to know if Yura was staying in the old mansion or not. "Wait, wait, honey..."

"Xian, wait." grandma Zhang called out.

"I will see you tomorrow mother." Zhang Xian shouted without stopping.

The Zhang elders followed after him with unwilling eyes and watched as he was driven away by the driver that had been hired for him.

As soon as the lights of the car faded out into the distance, grandma Zhang slowly fell down to the floor and started wiping her eyes. Two maids helped her up and took her to the bedroom. Grandpa Zhang followed because he had to comfort her.

She had made so many plans and personally decorated the room where their son was going to sleep. All of that was for nothing and he was gone, again. He would probably never live at home with them.

"You guys can eat dinner without us." he told everyone before slowly walking away.

It was a rather somber mood in the living room after everything that had just happened. Everyone was drowning in their own thoughts as they contemplated on where they saw the situation heading in future. For all of them, it was not a rosy aftermath.

"I am still moving out." Yura suddenly said.

Caishen and Bo turned their heads to her, and said nothing.

"You have seen your grandparents. They are falling apart so easily. At this rate, we will be back in the hospital with one of them gravelly ill or possibly dead." she told them.

"They will be fine." Zhang Bo said slowly.

"No they won't." she answered. She had known the elders far longer than her sons. They had just one son, and he had been their everything for as long as she could remember. It's why she and Xian never lived outside after marriage. They had moved in with the Zhang's immediately after marriage because his parents had just him as their child.

She also knew that if it meant accepting Na Na's terms, to have their son home, they would so. Yura was unwilling to wait for the moment of her humiliation to come around before walking out.

"I meant what I said earlier, I will not accept humiliation all because I am...was.., your father's wife. If it means getting a divorce, I will get a divorce. You guys should stay out of this mess from now on because you cannot fix it. It's not your job to fix it." She stood up and slowly walked upstairs after dropping that bombshell.

Her two sons did not even flinch at the mention of the word divorce. Everyone knew that one woman would be pushed out of the picture. It was their hope that their mother would not be that woman but the decision was not theirs to make evidently.

Zhang Bo stood up, grabbed his coat with every intention to go out and he said, "Well, I need a fucking drink."

"I will join you." Caishen told him.

"She is right you know." he said as they left.

Caishen looked up at his brother's back and wondered what he meant. He waited until they left the house and got into a car to ask.

"About what?"

Bo lowered the window of the car and closed his eyes. He leaned back into the seat and said, "There is nothing to fix. We should just start picking up the broken pieces and accept that's what done is done."
