"I got two new students. Grandpa brought Tai Jiaan out of nowhere and transferred him to my school. And then, elder Ren brought his granddaughter.

I don't think I impressed her though. When I said hello, she turned her nose in the air made that 'hmph' sound and walked away. I used to think that I was good with children of all ages but maybe I am wrong."

With Caishen's willingness to listen to all her rumblings, thoughts and troubles, Alix did not hold back. She was barely massaging his temples as she passionately described her day. Mostly, she was just patting them slowly and occasionally her hands would trail down to his cheeks and his neck.

"Oh, uncle Heng gave me a bank card with five million to renovate the school." She told him.

He opened one eye and peeked at her. She was smiling so brightly as she talked about it.

"The password is my birthday. I have never felt so cared for in my life. I almost thought I was dreaming when he handed it to me. It reminded me of a day when we were in school and Holea's dad gave her money to treat us all to a big meal and a trip to an amusement park. I was so envious back them because I wished to have a father give me some spending money as well. Does this count as me having a father now?"

She sighed and continued. "I am so happy, hubby, so happy."

Both of his eyebrows meanwhile moved upwards. He asked himself, am I not showing enough care? He had given her spending money too.

"And my brother..." she slapped his chest lightly and shook her head. "I have many brothers now so I should specify. Brother Ho Sun already interviewed and poached some star teachers for me. He is even willing to pay their salaries for a whole year."

"Why not forever?" Caishen asked in his head. He didn't voice the question out loud however.

Almost as if she heard the silent question, Alix answered it. "I guess he knows that I cannot accept handouts easily so he only offered to do it for a year. I am still going to say no. I don't want to be accused of taking advantage of the generosity they have showed me."

Caishen nodded, he could totally see that. Now, he figured was his golden moment to step in and shine. What Tai Ho Sun could not do, he could.

"I have already arranged ten million to take care of the teacher's salaries. I won't have to worry about that for a long while." She said.

Caishen's brilliant plan to make it up to her for not doing anything withered immediately.

"Grandpa helped me secure two new assistants. Well, it was aunt that did it but it was done on grandpa's behest.

But, I feel bad because I already announced the position on Songbird's official page and one person replied.

I have to decided to hire him too, one can be my personal assistant, one can handle Fuwen academy issues and another Songbird issues. What do you think? It's brilliant, right?"

She had been talking for a while, barely stopping to catch her breath. He knew she was an active talker if she was in the right mood but sometimes it sort of amazed him when she just kept going on and on.

"I think you need a sip of water." He answered.

"I am fine." She replied. She was not parched in any way.

He always kept a bottle by his side of the bed. He opened it and handed it to her. She accepted it, shrugged, sat down and took a sip.

So far, she had managed to sit on his crotch but with all the conversation, she had forgotten where she was and become comfortable.

"Where was I?" She went on, picking up from where she had stopped. Then, she sighed after ten minutes and told him, "the only downside is the size of the school. I would have loved to expand in order to have more space.

I want Songbird music academy and Fuwen academy to be different campuses. Real estate in that area is expensive though. It will take me a while to be able to afford property there."

Caishen found himself struggling suddenly between listening to her and ignoring the fact that she was sitting on him and kept making these small movements which had his thoughts messed up.

She was either playing dumb or she knew what she was doing because his body was having a very natural reaction at the wrong time.

She was talking about real estate for heaven's sake!!! What was exciting about that topic? Business wise sure it was exciting but not sexually.

"Calm down, calm down." He told himself. He took a deep breath in order to regulate his escalating heartbeat.

"Or maybe just rip her shirt open and see where it takes you." His inner voice suggested.

His heartbeat started escalating again and his fingers tapped the bed nervously. Alix decided to torture him by putting her arms around him to seek comfort because she was sad about the real estate prices.

"Hubby, who do you think is buying up properties around the school? Will they try to buy me out as well?"

In a strained voice, he replied, "Maybe we should go to sleep and think about it."

The hands which were wrapped around him found their way inside his shirt and touched the sides of his stomach, circling around his waist slowly.

He looked down but his eyes could only see the top of her head as her face was facing down.

She had to be doing this deliberately he figured. Alix was not as dumb as she pretended to be often.

She backed away slowly and her hands ventured further upwards. This time, she looked up and her eyes met his. There was a smile on her lips, a deliberately seductive smile.

A dry laugh escaped his mouth and he almost rolled his eyes but held himself back. Alix, lifted herself slowly and then sat back down and wiggled her butt.

"Hubby, I had a good day and I know of one way it can get better. And, it's also a good way to forget your problems. It's also a guarantee to getting a good night's sleep." She wiggled her eyebrows, looking very much cheeky and she asked him, "Wanna try?"

The words yes were on the tip of his tongue. It wasn't as if there was any reason for him to turn her down. He wanted her, she wanted him and they were both adults. What was stopping him?
