Chapter 516: Chapter 302 Ghost Ship Subordinate Law_3

"So I presumed you’d be back, eventually, seeking me for negotiation. Hence, you’d be better off keeping things simple..."

Captain Dardani paused, as did the Ghost Ship Pirates.

Looking bewildered, Captain Dardani addressed Ivita. "We have already achieved our goal, we can simply leave this place. You may be interested in bartering away the Valji family’s children for Mr. Duva."

"One child can make up for a hundred years of servitude on my ship."

"It’s worthwhile. You have three hours to think it over. We will be departing the Transfer Port in three hours."

Ivita gestured behind him. "No need for those three hours. I don’t think I’ll need the kids to negotiate with you."

"I just recruited nearly a hundred first-class professionals, yet I only brought ten. Can you figure out why?"

The Captain, First Mate Clark, and the rest of the Ghost Ship Pirates stared wide-eyed at Ivita.

Ivita explained, "I sent ninety first-class professionals to locate your ship."

"By now, they should have started to tow your ship. I think if you want your ship back, you should return Mr. Duva to me. The Valji family’s wealth still requires some sorting out, and he can’t leave just yet."

The Ghost Ship Pirates roared in laughter. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"He says he’s towing our Ghost Ship?"

"Haha..."

"If we were to lose the Ghost Ship, so be it, but that’s unlikely. No matter how much it is damaged, the ship gets restored by the morning. The audacity of him to threaten us with our ship, hahaha..."

Laughing, Captain Dardani told Ivita, "Even if you were to flip my ship, plunging it to the sea bottom, she’d float back up as soon as I whistle."

"Young Lord Wizard, you are still so naive..."

Ivita crossed his arms, while the Hearthstone Witch at his side smirked. She’d predicted this.

Ivita assured the Ghost Ship Pirates, "You’ve got it all wrong. I have no intention of doing anything to your derelict Ghost Ship, nor would I be so foolish as to let it sink to the bottom of the sea. I merely instructed my men to chain up your ship and pull it onto the mainland."

The Ghost Ship Pirates came to a sudden halt, as if strangled.

The faces of Captain Dardani and First Mate Clark darkened, revealing their monstrous undead appearances.

The power of the Ghost Ship comes from the sea. Once on land, it loses most of that power.

Ivita’s maneuver was indeed the perfect strategy to deal with the Ghost Ship.

They strutted around the sea backed by the Ghost Ship, forgetting to guard against the land.

These damned terrestrial folks.

Only they would think this way!

Captain Dardani roared. "What are you planning to do?!"

"What do you want to do with my ship? Give it back!"

The Ghost Ship Pirates were genuinely panicked.

"Landlubbers, what will you do to our ship? The ship is our only home, what are you doing, where will you take our ship?"

"This is too much, you dared to rob the Ghost Ship. You will meet an awful end."

"Give our ship back."

An undead middle-aged man holding a rapier rushed Ivita, his eyes filled with madness. "Captain, I can’t stand it anymore. I must kill him today."

Before he could even approach Ivita, the Iron Mountain Knight blocked him with twin iron swords.

No matter how much force he applied, it was fruitless against the Iron Mountain Knight’s dual blades.

The Iron Mountain Knight addressed the undead coldly, "Do you think you’re qualified to come near Lord Ivita?!"

The next moment, the Bull Head Rubber Man bounced around like a ball, hit the undead pirate, and sent him flying. Other undead pirates drew their Knight Swords to stab the Bull Head Rubber Man from both sides.

They rejoiced as they thought they succeeded.

But the next moment, wave patterns appeared on the Bull Head Rubber Man’s body, as if swallowing the two Knight Swords into his rubbery torso.

The undead pirates realized something was wrong, this Bull Head Rubber Man also possessed an Immortal Body.

Watching all this, Ivita pondered, ’The fusion of the bull skull and the Water Elemental seems to retain the fundamental abilities of the Immortal Body, yet some mutations have occurred.’

The Iron Mountain Knight stood in front of the Undead Pirates, ready for their next move. He plunged his dual swords into the ground, and a malignant aura, solid as a carpet, flowed out from the six Extraordinary Organs of the great knight and blanketed the pirates.

Seeing this, Captain Dardani reluctantly returned with Mr. Duva in tow and approached Ivita. "All right, what will it take for you to return my ship to me?"

"Where did you take my ship? There’s my precious chapel still on it! Take him, and set my ship back at sea!"

"What exactly are you trying to do! Are you going to declare war on me, have a real fight?!"

Without acknowledging him, Ivita began contemplating, ’the Ghost Ship Law... Among the seven legendary pirate ships I know, many of them possess the attributes of a ghost ship. There must be a secret behind this.’

Looking at Captain Dardani, Ivita spoke. "As the Hearthstone Witch said, it would save me six hundred gold pounds if Mr. Duva were to disappear. So, I see no urgency in releasing your ship. You’ve been claiming that the Valji family are friends of yours. Why don’t you tell me how you became friends with them?"

"Can a phantom at sea make friends? I am rather curious."

Given that he currently held the trump card, Ivita intentionally probed on the more secretive aspects of the Ghost Ship Pirates.

Hearing Ivita’s words, Mr. Duva felt a chill in his heart.

Why was he the one constantly being hurt?

Is being a middleman always this perilous?

After taking a moment to digest Ivita’s words, Captain Dardani replied, "You really want to know how I came to know Rey Valji."

"It’s rare for me to find someone willing to lend an ear at sea. It just so happens I’ve been wanting to confide in someone else about ’that day’ for quite some time. This desire is so strong it makes everyone else want to avoid me. It seems like you won’t be returning my ship for a while."

"I can tell you how I met Rey Valji. He was the youth who woke us from our long sleep beneath the ocean after providing us with 9,081 days of atonement. That made us friends. But before that, I must explain what exactly happened ’that day’ and how the Ghost Captain came to be."
