The Wicked Female Is Wild and Scheming, Living in a Love Battlefield Every Day-Chapter 70: Midnight Prison Break
Luna Sutton was very happy in her heart, "Of course, it’s sincere, more real than pure gold."
Kian Sterling’s eyes flashed with some confusion, not understanding what pure gold meant.
But he more or less knew it was a compliment.
Looking at Kian’s indistinguishable face, she hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should take the opportunity to complete the task.
But as soon as the thought appeared, she dismissed it.
Although she wanted to complete the task quickly and earn those 50 bags of toilet paper, she also knew that haste makes waste.
If she were to make any excessive moves right now, she would definitely scare Kian away.
As dusk settled in, the two strolled for a while in the back mountain and then went their separate ways.
Kian returned to his place to rest.
Luna Sutton also returned to her cave.
Upon arriving at the cave, Corbin Crowley, Rhys Blackwood, Zeke Veridian, and Malachi Arcanus had already left, and the dishes and furniture were tidied up neatly.
Unlike the last time when they were left scattered about without a care.
She curled her lips in satisfaction.
Indeed, one shouldn’t indulge men; the more you indulge them, the more they act like jerks. You ought to keep a small whip at hand to keep them in line.
After freshening up, she climbed onto the bed to rest.
Perhaps after a busy day, her body was quite tired, and she fell asleep quickly in a dazed state.
...
Late at night, it was silent outside the dungeon, except for the occasional chirping of insects and birds and the rustling sound of wind passing through the leaves.
Mason Sutton arrived at the dungeon gates.
All the Beastmen in the dungeon saw him and felt puzzled, not understanding why the leader’s son had come to the dungeon at such a late hour.
Yet they greeted him respectfully with clenched fists, "Greetings, Young Master."
Although Mason Sutton was not officially confirmed as the next heir of the Wolf Tribe.
But being the only son of the leader and possessing decent strength, unless an accident occurred, the position of the next leader would likely fall to him.
Mason Sutton glanced at the two Beastmen guarding the dungeon door and nodded lightly, "Open the door."
One of the guard Beastmen exchanged a glance, hesitantly saying, "Young Master, the leader instructed that no one be allowed into the dungeon."
Mason Sutton’s face darkened, "What? Are you defying my orders now? I’m just going in to see my Matron, what’s there to fear?"
The two Beastmen fell silent immediately; naturally, they dared not offend the future leader.
One of the Beastmen quickly took out a key to open the dungeon door.
The other bowed respectfully, "Young Master, please. Though, with regards to the leader..."
"Don’t worry, I’ll handle whatever arises."
Mason Sutton coldly tossed these words, stepped into the dungeon.
Inside the dungeon, it was cold, damp, and the air was filled with a mixture of bloody scents, extremely unpleasant and sickening.
Mason Sutton frowned, hastily walked through the long passageway, where many cells held Beastmen and slaves from the Wolf Tribe who committed serious mistakes.
These Beastmen and slaves displayed emotionless expressions, crawling to the edge of the bars as he approached, reaching out a hand to him for help.
Mason Sutton ignored them, asked for the location where Quinn Morgan was held, then walked inside without a change in expression.
Soon he arrived before Quinn Morgan’s cell.
Seeing Quinn Morgan hung on a wooden frame, her hair disheveled and covering most of her face, stained with blood, her original appearance almost unrecognizable.
The delicate Beast Skin Skirt was now ragged and blood-stained.
Arms and thighs were covered with whip marks, flesh turned outwards, bones visible.
Mason Sutton’s brows furrowed deeply, eyes filled with distress.
No matter how wrong the Matron was, she was ultimately Father’s companion, and the one who gave birth to him and his sister Luna Sutton.
He felt inherently that the Matron deserved some punishment, but being beaten to such a degree was excessive.
Yet, Lyle Sutton was still his Father; as a son, he had no reason to say anything.
He couldn’t help but feel troubled inside.
He ordered the Beastmen to open the cell door.
The Beastmen, though puzzled, did not question but obediently opened the cell door.
With a creak, the cell door opened.
Quinn Morgan heard the sound but kept her head low, her disheveled hair covering most of her face, without the slightest movement.
She thought it was Lyle Sutton, that bastard, so naturally she didn’t want to pay him any mind.
Mason Sutton walked in, looking at the pathetic and miserable Quinn Morgan hung on the wooden frame, his expression complex.
"Matron, it’s me!" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
He stopped before Quinn Morgan, speaking with concern.
Quinn Morgan, upon hearing Mason Sutton’s voice, raised her head abruptly, eyes wide open, extremely delighted.
"Meryl, it’s you!"
Her voice was hoarse, yet her tone was extremely excited.
Immediately, she started struggling violently, shouting excitedly, "Meryl, quick, get Matron out, your Father wants to kill me..."
She only wanted to leave this hellhole quickly, completely not considering what kind of punishment Mason Sutton might face for secretly rescuing her.
Seeing her in such a state, Mason Sutton’s heart ached even more, "Don’t worry, Matron, I’ll get you out now."
He said as he reached to untie the ropes on Quinn Morgan.
Once the ropes were untied, Quinn Morgan slumped to the ground, evidently exhausted.
Yet, from somewhere she gathered strength, grabbing Mason Sutton’s hand urgently, "Meryl, quick, let’s leave here, if Father finds out, we won’t be able to escape."
With these words, fear and disgust filled her eyes.
To her, this place was simply a nightmare.
Naturally, Lyle Sutton also became her nightmare.
Seeing her in such anxious fear, Mason Sutton’s expression grew complex.
He knew Matron had suffered a lot here, and kept his words brief.
He bent down, picking her up sideways, whispered, "Don’t worry, Matron, Father is currently practicing in the stone house and won’t come easily."
Saying this, he carried her and swiftly left the dungeon.
The two Beastmen guarding the door wanted to step forward to block him.
But they were glared back by Mason Sutton’s cold gaze, "What? Do you want to taste the dungeon too?"
The two Beastmen shivered with fright, waved their hands repeatedly, "We wouldn’t dare, we wouldn’t."
Joking, they certainly didn’t want to go to that hellhole.
Seeing the situation, Mason Sutton merely snorted, carrying Quinn Morgan as he strode away.
The two Beastmen watched his departing figure, exchanged a glance, saw the helplessness in each other’s eyes.
Though, after Mason Sutton left, they swiftly reported the incident to Lyle Sutton.
Mason Sutton did not know about this.
At that moment, he was already carrying Quinn Morgan to the agreed location with Warwick Storm, a secluded valley in the Moonlight Forest.
Warwick Storm was waiting anxiously there, looking around.
Seeing Mason Sutton carrying Quinn Morgan appear, his eyes lit up, he hurried forward, "Quinn Morgan, how are you?"
Seeing her covered with wounds, looking pitifully miserable, his heart ached severely.
Quinn Morgan, seeing Warwick Storm, was so excited she burst into tears, "Warwick, you’ve finally come to save me, sob sob sob..."
As she spoke, she cried, trembling as she tried to get out of Mason Sutton’s embrace.
But because her body was too weak, unsteady on her feet, she almost stumbled to the ground.
Fortunately, Warwick Storm swiftly supported her, "Be careful."
Quinn Morgan leaned into Warwick Storm’s embrace, sobbing pitifully, "Warwick, take me away, I never want to stay here anymore."
The bastard Lyle Sutton could torture her like this, if this hatred went unavenged, she swore she wouldn’t be human.
Warwick Storm held her tenderly, softly said, "Alright, I’ll take you back to The Raging Lion Tribe, and never let you suffer grievance again."
The two embraced tightly, completely forgetting Mason Sutton beside them.
Mason Sutton watched the two embrace tightly, pursing his lips.
Now he finally understood why Matron betrayed Father.
Indeed with Father’s cold demeanor, he was no match for this warm and caring Beastman before him.
