The Web of Knightspur-Chapter 52: Extremely Angry
Nia walked outside as she took a few deep breaths.
She could not bring herself to understand what was going on in Princess Eleanor’s mind. Or maybe she did not want to know.
’Why is she behaving this way?’
Nia’s thought as she walked towards a distance. Her eyes trembled as she looked around to make sure that none of the guards or knights were looking at her.
’Should I have stopped her? Should I try to understand the Princess more?’ Nia sighed, ’But why does it feel like no matter how hard I try, I might not be able to understand her at all.’
"What are you doing?" A voice made Nia tremble. She was frightened as she looked back only to see a man with a mask standing behind her.
Nia did not know when the man arrived and looked at his eyes which were filled with irritation and annoyance. Nia would have been frightened if she had not known who the man was.
"I am asking you something." Sir Kit’s tone was turned sharp. His eyes looked at the lady who stood there like a statue, staring at him.
Nia soon came back to life. She realized that Sir Kit had changed the clothes. Her hands moved back as she tried to hide the rugs filled with blood.
Although the blood did not drop to the rug in blood, Nia knew that if Princess Eleanor had asked to burn it then she should burn it.
"I was just finding something for the Princess." Nia tried to smile. Her eyes looked at a distance as she saw a knight bringing the water. "She had asked me to bring water, and someone told me that a knight would bring it."
Nia smiled as she blinked in excitement, "Oh, there he is." She tried to sound as genuine as she could as Nia made her way toward the knight but soon her steps stopped abruptly.
"If I remember correctly, then you must be coming out of Princess Eleanor’s room," Sir Kit said. His eyes fixed on the rug behind Nia’s hand. Although he could see that the rug was small, that was not something that caught his eyes.
There were drops of blood on the rug. As if the blood was dripping on it. Sir Kit’s eyes looked at the side where Nia was standing. His gaze looked at her carefully when he realized that Princess Eleanor’s lady in waiting was not hurt at all.
Sir Kit was a little confused. If the blood was not Nia’s then it should be of someone and the only name that flashed in his mind was of Princess Eleanor.
Sir Kit’s eyes turned sharp as he moved towards the tent that Princess Eleanor was staying at.
"No," Nia said as she stood in front of Sir Kit.
"Is she hurt?" Sir Kit asked as he looked down at Nia who stood in front of him with confidence. "How could you do that?"
Sir Kit said with gritted teeth. His eyes narrowed as he blamed Princess Eleanor’s lady in waiting.
’What is she doing?’ Sir Kit’s thoughts turn messy, ’She is here to help me. To stop the Princess from making any irrational decision and yet she allowed the Princess to bleed.’
Sour Kit did not need to know what must have happened for the situation to turn messy. He knew that things were never simple when it came to Princess Eleanor, but he still could not understand why it was hurting him so much.
Sir Kit felt like he needed to go and watch the Princess. What must have happened to her?
"How could I do it?" Nia laughed as her eyes sharpened. "It is all because of you. You are the reason why Princess Eleanor did what she did."
Sir Kit could not understand what Nia was getting at, but he could sense that she was angry, extremely angry.
