The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 81: A Big Trouble
Rosa’s eyes widened when she saw this scene. Of course, she knew that the bar wasn’t a good place for people like her daughter-in-law, who was too childish and innocent, but she didn’t think someone would harm her unknowingly!
She quickly walked over and held her daughter-in-law’s hands, finding a glass of water from the closest table. She poured it all over Abigail’s body, trying her best to soothe the injury caused all of a sudden.
"Abigail, dear, are you alright?"
Abigail shook her head as tears rolled out of her eyes. Her lower lips quivered as she looked up and said, "Mom, it hurts."
Her voice was full of pain and trembled as she gripped her mother-in-law’s clothes tightly as if she had become a little kitten in trouble. Rosa’s maternal love instantly rose high as she turned and glared at the young man’s direction, who had long disappeared to God knows where.
She cursed under her breath as she said, "Too bad, he ran away. I would have given him a punch!" She looked at her daughter anxiously and said, "Let’s go. We should go to the hospital first."
Abigail was in no position to say another word. She hadn’t even seen the man’s face who had bumped into him. Thus, she didn’t think much about it and walked out with her mother-in-law. Just as they walked out, Rosa saw Nicholas, who had just exited his car.
The moment his eyes glanced at the injured Abigail, his eyes squinted. His face darkened as he walked over.
He carried Abigail in his arms without even asking about what had happened.
"Son!"
"She needs a hospital." His face was so dark that it was enough to make anyone tremble. "And you, you will tell me what happened after she’s fine."
At this moment, he couldn’t even trust his own mom with his wife’s security. He would have to find a few bodyguards if he wanted to keep her safe.
His hands automatically tightened around the woman in his arms as he walked toward his car. When this young woman texted him, he already had a terrible feeling in his heart. It turns out his intuition was right!
He took a deep breath and gently put the groaning Abigail in his car’s backseat.
The woman turned her head and moaned, shutting her eyes as she mumbled, "Hurry.... It hurts...."
"Hmm." Nicholas’s eyes softened a bit without realizing it as he said while tucking a strand of her hair behind and wiping a few drops of sweat from her forehead. "We are going to the hospital."
Even though Abigail wasn’t well, she could still hear the voices from the outside. She knew her husband had come to her rescue as tears rolled down the corners of her eyes. Her lower lips quivered as she said, "Nicholas, hurry."
The man didn’t wait anymore. By this time, Rosa had already sat on the passenger seat as he sat in his place and drove the car out of there.
Inside the bar, no one had noticed such an accident happening all of a sudden. It seemed like such incidents were normal.
But, someone who had watched everything from the corner of their eyes looked cold and angry. Since they wore a hood, it was hard to tell their gender as they walked out. They quickly found the target and tapped their back.
The young man who had just spilled a hot drink onto a woman’s body didn’t have a trace of guilt on his face. He was even laughing and chatting with his friends. But he shook their hand off and continued chatting.
"You see," the young man said, "that woman was embracing her beloved when I accidentally spilled it. God, they were so dramatic. That’s why I hate girls. I wish they could just disappear from the face of the Earth. So pathetic!"
At this time, the person in the hood got even angrier as they directly grabbed the young man’s hand and dragged him out of there.
"You," the person in a hood spoke in a woman’s voice, "how can you do this? Don’t you feel guilty or something? Don’t you have a f*cking conscience after doing this with an innocent girl?!"
She pushed the young man against the wall after dragging him into an alley and spoke harshly as her voice was dripping poison. "You dared to burn her skin. Do you know what kind of sin you have committed?" After that, she started to chuckle, saying, "Now, consider yourself dead."
After thinking about it, she shook her head and said, "No, I won’t kill you so easily. Let’s torture you for a while and then I’ll kill you."
The young man pushed against the wall got angry after hearing those words. He shook off the woman’s hands and twisted it behind her back, saying angrily, "You women are too useless. If you want someone, why don’t you f*cking have the courage to approach? Backing up your crush behind her back, do you think it’s heroic?! If you have that kind of courage to kill and torture someone, better save it up and chase her!"
The woman in a hood went silent as she looked at the young man. Suddenly, she smiled and said, "You’re right. I was too cowardly before. Thank you for your kind advice. As a reward, I’ll only torture you for a day instead of a week. Consider yourself lucky."
"What-"
Before the man could finish saying his words, the woman suddenly pushed him back forcibly. Her actions were so sudden that the young man didn’t even realize it before the back of his head was hit by a hard object.
Pain throbbed in that area, which was so high that tears rolled out of his eyes. His head went dizzy, and with a second hit, his entire body directly fell onto the ground with a thud.
The woman in a hood stared at the young man, her eyes clouded by darkness. She looked around vigilantly before bending over and grabbing the young man’s foot. Then she dragged him away deeper into the alley with her brute force alone.
