The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 36: You’re Coming With Me!
Nicholas stood there for a few seconds, his expressionless face betraying nothing. But the way he crushed the half-eaten apple in his hand showed the turmoil of his emotions.
To say he was furious would be an understatement. He wanted to commit a crime right this instant.
Someone dared to enter his lion’s den and warn him. What a joke!
He could already imagine what would happen if Abigail were left behind. Asher would find her again.
Who knows what would happen behind his back?
He took a deep breath and released his grip from the apple. He walked over and quickly threw it in the dustbin, opening the door of his study.
Asher walked out of the villa, completely refreshed. He looked as if he had just done something mischievous behind everyone’s back that transformed his mood completely.
Seeing the grin on his face, Rosa instantly knew that this naughty lad had done something to make Nicholas furious. Her eyes narrowed as she put her hand on her waist, asking, "What did you do to him?"
"You’ll know." Asher was mysterious as he looked over at Abigail, who was still busy plucking up roses from the garden. "Cousin-in-law, I’ll be back later!"
Abigail wasn’t listening carefully to who spoke those words just now. Her focus was entirely on collecting flowers. So she squatted on the ground and continued to collect the flowers.
Just then, she felt a shadow over her as she froze. She was about to react when someone’s hand stretched over and snatched the flowers from her hand.
Asher sniffed the roses and said, "Thanks a lot for the flowers."
Abigail looked up, stunned. The scene of a handsome eye candy sniffing on a bunch of roses that was plucked by her, made her heart thump once again. She didn’t move, and she continued to stare at that rare scene as if bewitched.
"Abigail." Nicholas’s voice vibrated from the door of the house, cold enough to send a shiver down anyone’s spine. "Come here."
That voice even jolted Abigail awake, making her realize that she had been staring bluntly at her own cousin-in-law.
Her eyes widened as she slapped her cheek.
Abigail! What the heck were you doing?!
No matter how handsome he is, he will continue to stay your cousin-in-law no matter what!
She took a deep breath and instantly stood up, walking toward Nicholas obediently. She even held a trace of guilt in her eyes as she stood in front of the man with her head lowered.
She looked exactly like a child who had committed some crime.
Nicholas’s eyes glanced at the grinning Asher who was still sniffing the roses and staring at his guilty wife. The more he looked at the two of them, the more his heart turned colder, filling it up with a sense of fury.
His fist curled up to form a grip as he said, "Prepare your bags. You’re going with me on the trip."
"Absolutely not!" It was Rosa who refused in Abigail’s stead. "What if you leave her in the middle of an unknown country?!"
"I wasn’t asking for permission." Nicholas didn’t glance at Abigail and turned around, walking inside the villa without saying another word.
"That brat!" Rosa curled up her fist as she glared at the door. Then she turned over at Asher. "You can go back. I’ll handle him. I’ll absolutely not let him take my daughter-in-law away like that!"
"Not needed, mom." Abigail, contrary to everyone’s expressions, was quite happy. She was even grinning from ear to ear as she turned back and said excitedly, "I want to go with him!"
"But..." Rosa looked at the young woman worriedly.
"I’ll go with her, then." Asher offered, generously, forcibly stuffing himself in the midst of this family drama. "And I’ll make sure she’s treated well. She’s my cousin-in-law, after all."
Rosa let go of all worries after hearing that. She patted her nephew’s shoulder affectionately and said, "You’re the only person I can count on in the entire family!"
Literally!
Her eldest son was too rude, and her younger son had turned out to be gay. Not only that, that brat even learned how to hide things from her!
Asher was the only person who still respected her as an elder. Her eyes softened at the sight of her blond nephew as she said, "Go and pack your bags. I’ll make sure you follow Abigail and keep a close eye on her."
"No need. I already know where they are going." Asher was Nicholas’s rival in business for a reason. He had keen eyes, and the time he spent inside the study told him everything he needed to know. After all, the papers were out in the open, right in front of his eyes.
Tsk, Nicholas should tighten his security even at his home.
Asher smiled and walked out of the house, entering his car. He drove off onto the street.
Abigail continued to stare until the car disappeared as she let out a sigh.
She had wanted to stay away from the man, but in the end, she ended up bringing him onto the business trip!
But anyway, she wanted to save Nicholas foremost. She would think about Asher’s situation later. The more hands she has on her goal, the better!
Abigail rubbed her hands and walked inside the villa to pack her bags.
Oh, wait...
She didn’t know how to pack bags at all! In the past, she never got to go on a trip! Only one time she was allowed outside the asylum, and that was a trip to another asylum, a branch of the main director. The nurse was responsible for packing her bag.
She paused in her steps and turned toward her mother-in-law.
"Mom, help me pack, yeah?"

The next morning.
Nicholas forcibly dragged his sleepy wife early in the morning to the airport. They finished the process in no time and walked toward the airplane.
Despite having a habit of waking up early, Abigail had lately been slacking off, opening her eyes rather late every morning. Of course, even her mother-in-law let her sleep, not wanting to disturb her daughter-in-law’s beauty sleep.
But her husband still decided to forcefully wake her up despite her refusal!
Abigail pouted as she tried once again to snatch her hand back from Nicholas’s grip as they made their way inside.
"Can you let go?"
"No." Nicholas was already troubled because of his decision to take her away. He regretted his indecision to no end.
But he still didn’t want Asher to spend more time with his wife no matter what. His own feelings conflicted with his thinking process, making him even more grumpy.
When they reached their seat, he pushed the woman inside. Then he stuffed the bags in the compartments and sat, still not letting go of the woman’s hand. He was afraid she would go off and make a mess again!
He took a deep breath and leaned against the seat, closing his eyes.
"Oho, so romantic." Another familiar, irritating voice spoke up, making Nicholas open his eyes in utter surprise as Asher sat beside Abigail, even winking at him, "How do you do, cousin?"
