Chapter 133: Where Is She Sleeping?

Of course, how could Asher agree to her words so easily? He instantly refused. "No way! She can sleep closer to the window. The view is better."

He wasn’t lying. If Abigail felt insomnia, she could just stare outside the window as the moon hung into the sky surrounded by clouds and stars. It was a beautiful view, for sure. A person suffering from insomnia would surely feel relieved after seeing this scene outside just by lying on the bed.

But the ones sleeping in the inner beds away from the window wouldn’t be able to witness such a beautiful scene.

Nicholas found that ridiculous. Why would Abigail, the woman who wreaked havoc in his life and others too, make sure that no one could have a peaceful sleep at night... Why would such a girl have insomnia in the first place? Ridiculous.

He looked indifferently at Asher and said coldly, "She’s sleeping in the middle."

"Near the window."

Nicholas knew this lad’s actual reason was, and thus, he said bluntly, "So I’m going to sleep in the middle."

"In your dreams!" That was his actual plan. Asher didn’t want to stay even a second closer to Abigail, especially ever since he managed to sneak a kiss onto her cheek.

Now that he had tasted the deliciousness of Abigail, he wanted more. Thus, he would obviously not be willing to share the person he loves with someone else, his rival at that.

"I’m her husband."

"A nominal one."

Abigail cleared her throat. "I’m still standing here, ain’t I?"

She felt the current situation was completely ridiculous for them. They were already standing here with her, and yet they were hell-bent on deciding what they wanted her to do instead of asking directly. Was she incapable of making a proper decision?!

She glared at the two of them and chose a bed completely away from them, closer to the door. This bed was away, thanks to the hotel staff’s foolishness. But it did provide a good opportunity for her to escape from the two of them.

The only good thing that the staff did better was to attach curtains on either side of all the beds. Thus, she pulled up the curtains and entered inside, disappearing from both of their views. From the inside, she said, "You guys can choose where you want to sleep. Good night."

She solved the problem and even taught them a lesson! What a great achievement! Two CEOs lost in front of her, a girl!

Abigail giggled and covered herself with her blanket. Let these two fight while she had a good night’s sleep.

Oh, right, let’s warn them first.

"If your voices dare to wake me up," Abigail spoke up from her bed as she acted all serious, portraying her ability well, "you’re all responsible to see my moodiness. Don’t blame me for destroying this room."

After speaking those words seriously, Abigail didn’t even greet them a simple good night and covered her head with the blanket, closing her eyes.

Nicholas and Asher glared at one another like little children at the playground, and they chose the beds randomly. Since they couldn’t see Abigail anymore and were afraid that she would mess up the entire place in the middle of the night if they were to offend her, they silently chose their beds and slept through the night soundlessly.

It was just that Nicholas had a dream yet again. In that dream, he was vaguely flipping some pages of a file with a serious emotion in his heart. What was it that he was flipping?

Nicholas couldn’t see clearly. But he knew that this emotion was familiar. This emotion would only appear whenever he was facing a serious matter.

After he was done flipping the paper, he finally closed the file as a name appeared at the front of the file, "Abigail Dawson report."

Those words were written in bold letters. But since it was a dream, Nicholas clearly had no idea he was dreaming. It wasn’t like he could lucid dream, right?

Thus, after he was done looking at the paper, he raised his head, and to his surprise, Abigail was sitting right across from him on the other side, wearing a patient’s typical white outfit. Her hair was tied up in a bun, and her face looked extremely vigilant, as if she didn’t want to utter a single word.

Then Nicholas found himself saying, "So Abigail, do you want to wreck a garden?"

"Huh?" This time, the patient, Abigail, was stunned as her expression cracked a little. "You.... What are you saying?"

"I’m serious," said the man seriously as he leaned forward, placing his hand on his desk. His white sleeves covering his hand could be seen as he said, "Do you want to destroy a garden? This is a limited time offer. You have five minutes to express your thoughts. You-"

"Yes!" Abigail was totally surprised by this turn of events. She never wanted to meet her new doctor, thinking he would still be like those old geezers, but who knew he would turn out to be so cool?!

A psychiatrist is actually letting her destroy a garden?! That was a first!

The man chuckled and asked, "I do have a condition."

"What is it?" Abigail became vigilant once again, narrowing her eyes.

"Promise me you’ll meet me everyday at the same time?" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Just that?" Abigail relaxed. She almost thought she would be forced to eat some medicines. She smiled and nodded. "Okay!"

"Good."

After that, Nicholas went deeper into his sleep, and thus, he couldn’t remember the rest of his dream. But he did know that when he woke up, he felt like he was at the wrong place before he remembered the ceiling and Asher sleeping on his left while Abigail was sleeping on his right.

Most of all, he again felt like he had forgotten something important. Was the thing he was dreaming about so crucial that he got this feeling all of a sudden?

Nicholas was a practical man. Thus, he didn’t dwell on his dream and, rather, got up from his bed and walked toward the bathroom without turning toward either of the two people still sleeping on the bed.

At least, for today, he would have Abigail all to himself. At this time, even Nicholas hadn’t realized how cheezy he sounded by thinking of those words.
