The Veilwalker-Chapter 480: Family Business
"However, I won't be creating just a Universal Company," Alexander added.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Aaron was slightly confused.
"With the establishment of any new organisations and companies, there's bound to be troublemakers and a whole lot of conflict," Alex explained. "What I intend to do is establish a body that will maintain order; a regulatory arm, so to speak."
"I see…" Aaron's eyes lit up with realisation. "You'll be the police of the universe."
"Yeah," Alex nodded with a smile. "Of course, there's more to it than just policing, but that's the gist of it."
"I like this idea even better," Aaron chuckled, already seeing how this would play out. "Hehe, a lot of people aren't going to be happy. When do we start?"

When Ross departed from the hospital, he went straight home, as it had been a while since he had met his father and older brother.
However, his arrival was met with an 'empty' estate. The workers of the estate explained to him that his father and brother were attending to some crucial business outside the empire.
The redhead decided to call his father the next day, as the day was almost at an end.
Ross spent his time in the family's underground gym, slowly getting used to his newfound strength. He did not need sleep or food, and could stay awake for as long as he wished.
Since Alex sealed most of his strength for obvious reasons, Ross's strength was capped at the peak of the S-Tier.
As he continued his workouts and grew accustomed to his strength, he noticed more of his power returning. 'I see… The more control I have, the more power the seal would allow.'
While he wasn't going to engage in any fights around civilisation, it still felt good to feel his true power returning. The sparring sessions he and Julia had with Alexander during those years were no joke.
Even he was shocked at how much power he wielded. With just a flick of his fingers, he could wipe out entire solar systems and then some.
A notification drew his attention to the digital clock on the wall. 'Ah, I must have been too engrossed in my workout.' It was way past morning.
Quickly making his way to the adjacent bathroom, Ross cleaned himself and made his way back to his room, where he moved to sit before a computer capable of reaching farther than his smart device.
"Conix, contact Father for me." He instructed his AI.
[Contacting…]
A few seconds later, the line connected, showing a feed of Ross's father, Ferlok.
"Father…" Ross greeted his father with a smile.
[Ah, son. It's been a while.] His father said. [When did you return from your training?]
"I came back yesterday," Ross replied, but then narrowed his eyes. "Father, why do you look stressed?"
Although Ferlok attempted to hide it, Ross did not miss how his father looked out of it, as if he had been working nonstop for some time now.
[It's that obvious, huh?] Ferlok chuckled. [You don't have to worry about me, Ross. Your father can take care of himself.]
"..."
For a moment, Ross did not reply, staring calmly at his father's face. "What's going on, Father? I'm not a kid anymore, so don't treat me like one."
[Hah… fine.] Ferlok agreed, a sigh escaping his tired lips. [I didn't want you to worry too much since I wanted you to focus on your training. But…] T^his cop*y^ was ge$n@erated. f*ro+m^ con#tent at M$V|LE-M.PY^R.+
Ferlok took a moment to gather his thoughts while Ross waited patiently.
[I've been trying to establish a Universal Company with your brother for some time now,] he said, making Ross nod in understanding. [Unfortunately for us, we've been encountering resistance from another group, a powerful family, to be exact.]
[They have their eyes on the same territory we discovered a few months back, and have been fighting to claim it. While we've managed to hold them back…]
"It's stretching your forces too thin…" Ross completed for his father.
[Exactly…] 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Why haven't you reported this to the government?" Ross asked. "This should be an easy thing for them to handle, no?"
[Not quite, Ross.] Ferlok shook his head. [Because this is a new trend emerging, the government has very little control over the situation; more so when the territories being claimed are outside the empire.]
"I see…"
Ross got the gist of the situation. The redhead remained silent for a while, deep in thought about the problem. After a while, he looked at his father and proposed,
"How about I join you guys? With my current strength, no one will be able to stand against you." Ross stated confidently.
[You sure? Aren't you still in training with your friend, Alexander?]
"We're on a break at the moment," Ross explained. "Also, I'm itching for some action." A mischievous grin graced his features.
Honestly, this was a simple thing Alexander could solve with just his presence. However, Ross didn't want Alex to do everything for him.
What was the point of growing this powerful if he can't use it?
Moreover, he had no doubt Alex knew what was going on. A simple intent from him, and he could reach out to Alexander to confirm his thoughts.
[Alright…] Ferlok agreed. [I'll send you our coordinates later on.]
For starters, it had been a while since Ferlok had seen his second son, and he was eager to see how much he had grown.
"Good." Ross nodded. "I'll see you soon. Tell big brother to expect me soon."
[Of course…]
With that, the call came to an end, and Ross leaned back into his chair. 'Hehe, we'll see just how powerful this family truly is…'
'Try to hold back a bit, alright?' Alexander's voice suddenly echoed in his head, confirming what he believed.
'I knew it,' Ross replied with a knowing grin. 'And don't worry, I won't beat them too much.'
'Fair enough.' Alex added. 'I'm working on something on my end as well. Do what you must, and when you return, I'll fill you in.'
'Sure.'
Ross affirmed, the connection closing soon after. A few minutes later, Ross received the coordinates from his father, showing him where he needed to go.
"Wonderful…" The redhead grinned. "It's time for some action…"
