The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1145: If You Can Do It, Don’t Be Afraid of a Painful Face Slap!
However, Alfred Garland didn’t sympathize with Caryn Zachmann at all. After all, this whole mess was her doing. If she dared to stir up trouble, she shouldn’t blame others when her mask got ripped off, leaving her humiliated in the end.
"Let me make a phone call!" Alfred didn’t waste any time. With swift movements, he sidestepped past the man, grabbed his phone, and eagerly went off to handle business.

Stephanie Tanzil was also dining at the Imperial Hotel.
But since their group was small, Stephanie didn’t bother to book a private room. After arriving at the hotel, she asked the manager to arrange a spot for them in the main dining hall.
By the window.
Separated by some potted greenery, the environment was serene and comfortable.
Stephanie ordered quite a few dishes and then let Stewin Hoffman and the others order for themselves. When the food was served, the atmosphere at the table was rather pleasant.
Though Stephanie wasn’t young anymore, she, like Candice Yancey, had a youthful mindset. Her aura wasn’t particularly overbearing. Compared to others, she was more approachable and easy to get along with. Because of her work, she was also somewhat connected to the entertainment circle, which naturally gave her some common topics of conversation when hanging out with younger people.
Stewin and his friends, after all, were just a group of boys in their early twenties.
Who didn’t have a goddess or two growing up?
Surely, each of them had their favorite female stars.
Now that they finally had a chance to meet someone with insider knowledge, they couldn’t resist asking about their goddesses. One question led to another, and they ended up digging for quite a bit of gossip about celebrities. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Stephanie casually joined in the chat, entertaining them a little.
At first, Zayn Fisher also chimed in with their chatter, but once he pulled out his phone to play with, he gradually became silent, his face growing darker as the minutes passed.
Zayn and Zeus Tanzil were at odds. Even though things hadn’t completely blown up between them, he felt it was beneath him to maintain the same carefree and friendly relationship with Zeus’s aunt as before. It just wasn’t worth it. So, Zayn kept up his aloof demeanor the entire time, mostly sitting back and listening to Stewin and the others chat.
Occasionally, he would grunt as acknowledgment, but his mind clearly wasn’t in it anymore.
Until—Zeus suddenly broke the harmonious atmosphere with an unexpected question: "Auntie, is Caryn Zachmann Lighten Chaser?"
"What?"
Stephanie had been chatting with Stewin about how his idol would hold a concert in October. The performance permit had already been approved, though the venue wasn’t finalized yet. It would likely be held at Bellevue Stadium in Beijing. She even offered to secure a few insider tickets for him, which sent Stewin into a frenzy of excitement. Just as she was about to move the topic along, she heard Zeus ask her a question.
"Didn’t you mention you’d seen Lighten Chaser in person? People online are saying Caryn Zachmann is Lighten Chaser. Is that true?"
Earlier, when Zeus was playing with his phone, he had been searching on Twitter for any videos of Nathalie Quinlan’s stage performance. He wanted to add one to his collection.
But instead of finding any videos, he stumbled upon a hot search topic on Twitter involving Nathalie Quinlan and Caryn Zachmann.
When he saw Caryn’s friends and fans attacking Nathalie in their comments, his anger flared up. He lost all interest in finding the video after that.
Stephanie furrowed her brows and looked at him. "Who told you Caryn Zachmann is Lighten Chaser?"
"People on Twitter are saying it," Zeus said honestly, not hiding that he’d seen the hot search. He also mentioned that Audrick Zachmann had posted something on Twitter about it as well.
The more Stephanie listened, the more exasperated she felt. She couldn’t fathom the thought processes of some fans, who would allow themselves to be used as pawns.
Her hand grazed the phone on the table as she considered whether to call Shawn Norton to get more details. Just then, Alfred Garland’s call came through.
Seeing his name on the caller ID, she pulled back her chair, stood up, and said to the group, "Excuse me, I need to take a call."
