The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 624 - 638: Wedding Night (5)
Koa Jackson took off his suit jacket and loosened his tie, while Mia Ginger slipped off her outer knit cardigan. The two white shirts looked like couple’s outfits.
"One, two, three, smile." The photographer ordered crisply, and took the photo neatly.
The two of them then took the photos and copies to fill out the forms.
One form for each of them, they quickly finished filling them out.
"Nine bucks." The registration office staff member lowered her head to stamp the papers and mentioned along the way.
Koa Jackson handed the money over.
The staff member handed over two marriage certificates, smiling as she said, "Congratulations on your marriage."
"Thank you." Koa Jackson said with a smile, wrapping his arm around Mia Ginger.
The staff member, a woman in her thirties, took another look at him while giving back the change, then looked at Mia Ginger with a jealous expression.
Mia Ginger didn’t notice, holding their marriage certificate, dazedly walked out of the civil affairs bureau.
She directly got into the car.
Sitting in the passenger seat, she let out a long breath of relief.
Still a bit in disbelief, she flipped the marriage certificate over several times and muttered, "That’s it then."
"What more do you want?" Koa Jackson said with amusement.
"Hehe." Mia Ginger raised her eyes to look at him, "What shall we do next?"
"What do you want to do?"
"..." Mia Ginger looked at him with bright eyes, "Alright?"
Koa Jackson stared at her for a moment, his Adam’s apple moving, then he leaned over directly, one hand clasping the back of her head.
Mia Ginger’s breath quickly became uneven, she breathed rapidly.
Koa Jackson’s fingers tightly tangled in Mia Ginger’s hair, his voice low and husky, "It’s up to you."
Mia Ginger only felt breathless.
Koa Jackson released her, raised his hand to loosen his tie further, and started the car.
"Where are we going?" Mia Ginger finally came back to her senses and asked him.
Koa Jackson was about to answer when his phone suddenly rang.
He took the call first.
Listening to the voice on the other end for a couple of sentences, his expression changed slightly, and he said in a deep voice, "I know, I’ll be right there."
As soon as the words left his mouth, he hung up the phone and said to Mia Ginger, "We need to go back to the hospital first."
"What happened?"
"There was a major traffic accident on the second ring road, the department is short on hands."
Mia Ginger: "..."
Koa Jackson made a turn at the intersection, driving while saying, "You shouldn’t come with me into the hospital later, find a restaurant outside to eat first, I’ll call you when I get out."
"Okay." Mia Ginger lowered her head, playing with her fingers, agreed.
Koa Jackson raised his hand to rub her hair apologetically, "Don’t feel wronged, I’ll be with you as soon as the surgery is over."
"You said it." Mia Ginger replied.
"Yes." Koa Jackson nodded, "I said it."
Mia Ginger said softly, "But don’t rush the surgery, take your time, safety first."
"I understand." Koa Jackson agreed, focusing on driving.
Not long after, the two returned to the Fourth Hospital.
Koa Jackson parked the car, urging Mia Ginger to go eat first.
Mia Ginger suddenly remembered that he had said earlier he hadn’t eaten either, and she was unwilling to leave.
On such a day, she wanted to stay with Koa Jackson.
As he operated, she could wait outside for a while, that’s good too.
Thinking this, she insisted on not eating alone, stubbornly following Koa Jackson into the emergency center.
"Master." As soon as they entered, a young doctor in a white coat greeted them in the emergency hall, quickly speaking to Koa Jackson, "Patients have already been categorized..."
