The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 589 - 600: Don’t Challenge Me (7)
"You’re welcome." Caiden Ward nodded, glanced at Koa Jackson, and raised an eyebrow slightly, "Shall we go together?"
"Sure." Koa replied, looking at Mia Ginger and Aurora Cooper with a gentle voice, "Get some rest early, I’ll come by again tomorrow morning."
"Don’t forget, I’m being discharged tomorrow morning."
"Okay." Koa pinched her cheek lightly, smirked, and left with Caiden.
The two of them walked side by side towards the hospital entrance.
Once downstairs, Caiden looked up at Koa, pondering, "Are you two back together again?"
"Yes."
"Tsk tsk. Even with memory loss, you two are still like this, true love indeed."
Koa shot him a glance but said nothing.
Caiden couldn’t help but chuckle, speaking slowly, "By the way, have you noticed that you’ve changed quite a lot recently?"
"Oh?" Koa’s lips curled slightly.
"...,"
"..." Koa was taken aback, "You don’t understand the situation."
"What situation?"
Koa looked at him, opened his mouth, but was at a loss for words for a moment.
That girl is really being arrogant now!
In short, yeah, she needs to be taught a lesson.
However—
He naturally wasn’t willing to share this feeling with Caiden.
Koa pressed his lips together, his tone light, "No situation, I’m leaving, drive carefully."
"Huh?" Caiden was taken aback, but Koa was already heading outside the hospital.
His car was parked inside.
Caiden made a frustrated sound and went to find his own car.
As the car left the hospital and got on the road, he listened to music absentmindedly, feeling a bit bored.
Lifting his left hand to take a look, a few bite marks were still quite clear, and even two spots where the skin had broken, bleeding slightly.
"Must be a dog," he muttered.
Caiden pursed his lips and let out a hum, picking up his phone.
His gaze swept over it, landing first on the name "Blair Chester."
He didn’t pause for long and continued scrolling down.
Blair Chester and he still maintained a careful fondness, because they didn’t meet often, it was still in the fresh stage.
But—
He wanted to play something thrilling tonight.
Blair wasn’t interesting enough, naturally, it wouldn’t work.
Caiden furrowed his brows, thinking, and eventually fixed his gaze on the name of a woman he hadn’t seen in a while.
He put on his headset and dialed the phone.
"Hello, President Ward, long time no see." The woman’s voice on the other end was sweet.
"Long time no see." Caiden replied softly, letting out a gentle laugh, "What are you doing?"
"What could I be doing," the woman chuckled coquettishly, "There’s nothing to do, just lying in bed, very bored."
"Bored," Caiden toyed with the word, smirking, "What a coincidence, so am I."
"Where are you?" the woman asked eagerly.
"Same old place." Caiden laughed lowly.
"See you in a bit." The woman hung up the phone.
——
Caiden drove straight to the hotel.
He showered in the private suite, came out wrapped in a towel, and leaned against the bedhead watching TV to pass the time.
Before long, the woman he had arranged to meet arrived.
She showered on her own, and elegantly stepped out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped below her belly button.
