The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 543 - 554: Is It Love? (5)
The heart beats so fast, it only happens when he’s near.
Is it... love?
In just under a month, has she already changed her feelings?
It’s so unfair to Dallas Taylor.
Mia Ginger thought randomly, and Dallas Taylor had already placed a hand on her thin back, making a gesture to lift her up from the wheelchair.
Since she woke up, Dallas has been visiting frequently.
But she was mostly bedridden, and the two had never been this intimate.
Mia was extremely uncomfortable, looked up at him, and suddenly said, "Wait a minute."
"What’s up?" Dallas straightened up.
Mia pursed her lips and gave an embarrassed smile, "I want to go to the bathroom, let Sister Williams help me."
As she finished speaking, she reached out to Olivia Williams.
Olivia naturally supported her.
The two went into the bathroom and quickly came out, with Olivia naturally helping her to the bed.
"Thank you." Mia looked at Olivia and visibly breathed a sigh of relief.
"You’re welcome." Olivia smiled back, instinctively turning her head towards Dallas, just as the caregiver aunt came in, carrying a rather exquisite gift bag. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
"Are these what you wanted?" The caregiver aunt approached the bed and handed the bag to her.
Mia took a look, smiled, and said, "That’s right, thank you, auntie."
"No need to be so polite." The caregiver aunt smiled.
Mia leaned on the bed, took out the origami, looked at it from side to side, and sighed helplessly, "I seem to have forgotten how to fold it."
Previously, at school, a girl folded them, and she had followed along out of boredom once.
After the car accident, she had a poor memory, and suddenly couldn’t recall how to do it.
"Why bother with that?" Dallas glanced at her and raised an eyebrow, "If you forgot, just let it be. It’s more important to rest well and heal quickly."
"I’m bored." Mia pouted as she looked at him.
Dallas took a seat on the edge of the bed, looking at her with a childish, upset expression, and gently patted her head.
"Ouch." Mia looked up at him, muttering, "Be gentle."
Dallas smiled, just about to say something when his phone rang.
He got up and stepped outside to take the call.
Mia watched him leave, feeling a sense of relief, and sighed as she looked at the origami in her hands, lost in thought.
"Want me to teach you?" Olivia suddenly asked.
"Sister Olivia, you know how?" Mia asked in surprise.
"Yeah. I can do paper cranes and lucky stars, which one would you like to learn?"
"Paper cranes, I guess." Mia tilted her head and smiled, but then suddenly changed her mind, "Never mind, let’s do lucky stars instead."
"Sure that’s your final choice?"
"Stars it is, right?" Mia smiled, grabbing two jars, she divided, "The ones you fold go in here, and the ones I fold go in here."
"Isn’t that inconvenient?" Olivia was momentarily stunned.
"Yeah." Mia bowed her head, speaking softly, "I want to give the ones I fold to Dr. Jackson; today is his birthday."
"Dr. Jackson?" Olivia probed.
"Yes, he takes such good care of me, I should give him a birthday gift, right?" Mia bit her lip as she looked at her, with expectant eyes.
Clearly—
She hoped for an affirmative answer.
Olivia gave a soft smile, "Okay, I’ll teach you."
"Alright." Mia let out a sigh of relief, bit her lip, and followed her to learn earnestly.
——
A little after five.
Olivia and Dallas left together.
Mia folded a few more, finally stopping.
