The Trending Topic Herself: The Villainess is the Superstar!-Chapter 111: Eating Snacks While Lying Down Is Pretty Uncomfortable
Jamie Miller came to pick up Justin Morgan after hearing about the incident: "I just heard you accidentally twisted your ankle. Are you okay now? Let me help you over to the tree to rest for a while. If you’re still uncomfortable, maybe you shouldn’t move around today."
Justin Morgan panicked upon hearing this: "What do you mean twisted my ankle? Maya Monroe clearly hurt my leg! So many people and even the cameras saw it!"
Justin grabbed the arm of the staff member bandaging him: "You, did you see Maya Monroe hitting me or not? Everything happening to me now is all thanks to Maya Monroe, right?"
The staff member’s expression was complicated, remaining silent for quite some time.
Initially, it was Justin Morgan who went over to provoke with words. Maya got angry and lightly threw a stone. His leg barely had a scratch, yet Justin wouldn’t really let the matter drop.
The bandaging was really unnecessary, but Justin kept insisting.
Justin noticed the disdainful look from the staff member, froze for a moment, then shouted: "What kind of expression is that? Are you questioning me? How dare a mere staffer look at me like this?!"
Why is everyone, apart from Maya Monroe, going against him one by one...
Jamie Miller frowned slightly: "Alright, let’s just leave together now. The other guests have already discussed the plan and are waiting for us. If you’re not feeling well, you can rest over there."
Outside, there are mosquitos everywhere. What if a snake suddenly appears?
Considering this, Justin Morgan naturally didn’t want to leave his comfort zone: "I... I just won’t go out. Look how badly hurt my leg is—I can barely move. I think it’s better for me to stay here, and if there’s any sudden incident, at least the doctor is right here."
Jamie Miller was silent for a moment, as Justin appears entirely conscious of behaving like a severely ill patient.
"How will you handle your meal situation then?"
Justin blurted out: "Once you collect food, just bring it over to me. I’ll stay right here; I won’t cause any trouble in other aspects."
Jamie didn’t reply. Even the staff thought Justin was really shameless.
Jamie ultimately had a heart of gold and always liked taking care of the younger ones: "Then rest well."
Justin sat alone in the RV, breathing in the pungent smell of disinfectant, feeling utterly dreadful.
It’s all because of that damn Maya Monroe! After this mess, there’s no way for him to step outside, yet only staying in the camper won’t help with gaining fans or boosting popularity!
The director heard from the staff that Justin didn’t plan to leave the car, and he was visibly very angry: "I’ve never seen an artist so full of themselves—let him be! I certainly won’t invite such an artist a second time!"

Meanwhile, Maya Monroe resumed her tent-pitching work, trying hard to dispel the agitation in her heart and make her mood a bit calmer.
But the air was stuffy, the area buzzing with annoying mosquitoes, and her mood was far from bright. She couldn’t help but remember the adverse conditions of previous worlds, that kind of incessant tension suffocating her.
Suddenly, a pair of slippers appeared in her field of vision; the once plush cartoon bunny heads had now been smeared with dirt, ruining their pristine look.
Maya instantly recalled who owned those shoes and lifted her head, her hands didn’t stop: "What’s up?"
The guide sensed the fierce aura emanating from Maya Monroe, akin to a sharp blade ready to tear vulnerable skin. This aura wasn’t something a regular person could possess, nor a pampered celebrity for that matter.
The guide squatted down, meeting her gaze: "Seems like our fourth guest isn’t too happy!"
Maya stalled for a moment before moving her eyes back to his face: "I didn’t realize your show’s crew was so leisurely."
The guide chuckled softly: "Someone was just causing you trouble; I’m merely performing my duty as staff by checking in. Just to prevent it from affecting your mood later on..."
"I think you should be concerned about Justin Morgan. Wasn’t he just causing a commotion?"
"If he has the energy to shout out so loudly, then he’s definitely fine, wouldn’t you agree?"
Maya then noticed the guide had splendidly bright eyes, quite beautiful.
Maya smiled slightly: "Your shoes are dirty."
The guide followed her gaze to his feet.
"It’s best not to wear white shoes here," Maya reminded him again, wiping her forehead, the irritation still lingering.
The guide raised his brow: "It’s alright, I have many pairs of identical shoes."
Seemingly aware of the impatience on Maya’s face, he didn’t get upset, smiling: "Since our fourth guest is now okay, I’ll take my leave first."
Once he declared his departure, Maya immediately lowered her head to resume her work: "Take care."
The guide hesitated, then broke into a helpless laugh: "Then I wish our fourth guest a pleasant journey."
Have a pleasant journey... In such a lousy place, could one really enjoy any part of it?
Maya worked swiftly, soon setting up the tent. She clapped her hands, sending dust fluttering into the air.
Maya felt much better, especially when reaching for her specially designed pocket top.
Maya looked around and then hurriedly dove inside her tent.
The cameramen continued filming, but Maya’s tent was even smaller than last time, so they could only capture her shoes.
The cameramen thought Maya had just gone in to inspect the tent interior, and she’d be out in no time, but half an hour passed without her appearing, her feet barely moving...
A staff member knocked on Maya’s tent and shouted loudly: "Maya Monroe? Maya Monroe! Are you okay?"
Maya jumped in surprise, hurriedly swallowing the jerky but accidentally choking.
"...I’m fine! I just felt quite tired and wanted to rest for a bit!"
Maya was quite used to fibbing in such situations, intentionally making her voice sound weaker, more fatigued.
The staff member seemed to buy it: "Then Maya Monroe, please rest a bit more! If you’re really not feeling well, seek out medical assistance!"
Maya responded earnestly, but all she was really thinking about was how slightly uncomfortable it was to lie down while eating.
Maya shifted her position, finally feeling somewhat better.
Eating the fragrant jerky, Maya’s mood improved significantly.
There’s nothing good food can’t remedy, and if one bite doesn’t cut it, then perhaps two will. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Photographers kept on filming outside for another two hours; with the protagonist absent, they captured nothing but a bare tent, rendering the scene a bit bleak.
