"Are you...serious? Isn’t doing that extremely risky? We have no idea what will happen. All the people who are alive right now, what will happen to their soul?"

I asked in a horrified voice.

Even if i understood Theo;s logic, i could not agree with him. It felt wrong to encourage him and his antics.

Theo looked at me as if he could not understand why i would not side with him here. His eyes looked at me with question but i had my attention stolen by he vortex behind him. Colors swirled in it and it almost looked like stars were shining in it.

But behind those colors hid the darkness that threatened to swallow everything i knew an had come to love.

"I know that it is somewhat of an difficult concept to swallow, but i promise that no one will get hurt if we use the vortex. All the souls that have been lost will have a chance to come back if they want to."

Theo promised me. The older one did. The young one held me in place so that i won’t be able to move. I felt trapped between them two with nowhere to run.

"Anyway, even if you want to stop us, it is too late. The vortex has already been completed."

The older Theo told me and i struggled to get out of his grasp one last time before the vortex bursted open an swallowed me and everyone else.

"Kyle, we shall meet again, at the node where it all started. Let’s do a better job this time around and i promise that I will stay by your side."

Theo promised and i felt something inside me stirring. A part of me that was asleep...or rather, broken started to mend everything.

All the souls were fading from around me and i felt my heart breaking as i watched it happen.

"Theo you...."

I whispered and that was the last I saw of Theo before white took over my vision. When i opened my eyes, i could see nothing.

It all felt blank and i tried to move to look around, but my limbs felt frozen in place. Even if i wanted to look down, i could not do that.

’What is going on? Where am I...’

I questioned as i looked around. The darkness of the universe looked back at me and all i felt were two faint presences around me that reassured me that i was not alone.

’I...what happened...? That vortex and then that blast and now I am...where am I? Ah, i am beginning to recall now. This is the start of the world..’

Kyle was slowly recovering the memory he had lost. The part of himself that always felt empty was slowly beginning to return and along with that, so did his memory.

There was a time he used to be a gold along Theo. He used to take care of all the creatures of the universe and also get rid of them when it was time.

But the balance was too much for him to keep and it broke him.

He had already died once and been reborn in a world to incubate and get his power back so that he could return one day. But Theo had messed his plans up by pulling this bullshit.

"Theo...what have you done? What kind of bullshit situation have we ended up in?"

The universe was being created from the scratch in front of us and now we shall get a different chase to make a choice...or that might be what Theo thought.

But if he truly though that, then he was naive. The power of balance would make sure they ended up at the same exact spot in the future, because that it’s purpose- to keep balance.

It was not going to chance until someone forced it to change. And that someone could only be Kyle.

"I guess I won’t let to live out this life after all. My alpha caused this mess, so i need to correct it before it’s too late."

The changes in the universe had not started to become permanent. There was still some crevices that had yet to unfold.

If he wanted to return his world to what it used to be and reverse the damage Theo did, he needed to act now.

"I am truly sorry, Theo. But this is not right. You had no right to do what you did to this world and all the souls in it. Even if all you wanted to do was give them happiness, this is the wrong way to go about it."

Kyle’s unformed body slowly took form. He looked back at Theo with one last look and watched as the two bodies formed different shapes. They were not going to merge anymore.

"If something goes wrong, then please do not look for me. I don’t know how much you can hear me, but i hope you the best of luck. May you be able to move forward from this messy life and find happiness."

Kyle told him before he sunk his hand in the vortex of genesis. His hand sunk in and he vortex turned a pretty shade of pink as it welcomed Kyle in.

Then slowly, the vortex started to shine a brilliant red and gold as it started to reverse itself.

Kyle felt that newly returned part of him slowly start to wither away again. It tried to fight back against Kyle’s will but Kyle forced it to reverse.

The Vortex shivered in anger as it was forced to fulfil Kyle’s wish, but Kyle did not slow down and kept pushing forward with all his might. He was not going to back down now. If he did then all of his struggling would be for nothing.

’I need to keep going...i am so close...’

Kyle gave one last push when he suddenly felt arms around him, pulling him away from the Genesis. Two pair of angry eyes looked down at him and Kyle almost gave up before he steeled his heart.
