Scarlett observed the monster carefully.

"It's peak Rank Four..." she muttered under her breath, her blood-red eyes narrowing slightly as she analyzed the creature's movements and the toughness of its scales.

The monster rushed toward her again.

It screamed loudly as it charged forward, its many legs tearing through the ground and uprooting trees in its path.

Scarlett's eyes began to glow in a deep blood-red hue.

She extended her left hand, and her index finger moved slowly through the air, drawing an unknown pattern.

Her movement was precise and elegant, as if she were writing something invisible in the air itself.

Just then, all the blood weapons floating around her began to react.

On each weapon, a symbol started to carve itself into the surface.

Amon, who was standing behind her, noticed the patterns immediately.

They were identical on every weapon.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he observed carefully.

"Rune…" he muttered quietly.

The same symbol was carved onto each weapon in a darker shade of blood red, glowing faintly with power.

Scarlett then pointed her finger toward the monster.

All the weapons shot forward at blinding speed.

They flew like red lightning, cutting through the air and striking the monster from all directions.

The weapons struck against the monster's scales across its entire body.

The monster didn't even try to dodge.

But this time, the weapons slightly pierced its scales.

A powerful impact shook the ground.

Standing in front of the monster now was a figure holding a thin sword glowing with bright blue lightning.

It was none other than Malphas. Their group leader. And the strongest among them.

"Well...sorry for delay...just helping other group members...I knew Scarlett...you could handle this much."

Trees were vaporized instantly. The ground exploded as the beam carved a massive path through the forest.

But Malphas had already dodged it by jumping above.He was now high in the air above the monster.

Lightning gathered around his sword intensely. The blade glowed brighter and brighter. Then he swung his sword downward.

A massive bolt of blue lightning fell from the sky like divine punishment.

BOOM!!

The lightning struck the monster's back, exploding on impact and forcing the monster to slam into the ground.

"Wait here..." Scarlett said to Amon as she moved.

She extended both her hands, and more blood weapons formed around her, floating in the air. Same runes carved on them.

Scarlett raised her hands again, a blood sword appeared in her both hands. She gripped the hilt tightly.

Malphas appeared in front of the monster's head and thrust his lightning-covered sword straight into one of its eyes. Then the lightning spread all over his body.

SCREEEEEEEEEEECHHHH!!!

The monster screamed in absolute agony.

At the same time. Scarlett's sword gleamed in more darkes shade of red. Her sword was leaving a red trail.

She did a vertical slash.

A huge, long vertical red color arc shot towarsa the monster.

Slash.

It cut through the middle part of the monster.

The monster let out one final, long, horrifying scream. Then its massive body collapsed to the ground with a thunderous impact.

The ground trembled as the giant centipede finally stopped moving.

It was dead.

Malphas slowly pulled his sword out and lightning around the blade slowly faded. Scarlett lowered her hand as the remaining blood weapons dissolved into liquid blood and disappeared.

Behind them, Amon stood silently, looking at the massive dead monster.

That fight had just shown him the true strength of Rank Four and five fighter.

He clenched his fist.

'I....I need to get more stronger...More faster!' This battle only made his resolver for strength more strong.
