The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 210: Desperate Kelvin Family
Chapter 210 - 210: Desperate Kelvin Family
Eastern Martial Arts League – Conference Hall
A round-table meeting was in progress.
The League Lord, Nate Gibson, spoke solemnly. "Lord Carter, we've identified the wanted man. He's a mutant—classified as an S-level threat. After escaping from your Central U.S. branch and entering our Eastern region, he's killed three more victims. The bodies were found torn to shreds... only the skulls remained intact."
Sitting across from him was a woman—striking even without makeup.
Her beauty was natural and breathtaking. Even seated, her figure was flawless: an elegant curve from her full chest to a slim waist, and down to her long, graceful legs pressed together beneath the table. Every part of her silhouette exuded balance and power.
She was Bertha Carter—the seventh sister of John Lopez.
With a composed demeanor, she rubbed her temple and frowned. "The killer was vicious. I failed to catch him in the Central U.S.—that's on me."
Nate nodded in understanding. "We'll provide full support, Lord Carter. Based on intel from our enforcement division, we've narrowed down the target's activity zone. We're close to making an arrest."
Bertha sighed. "Let's hope so. I just want to prevent more lives from being lost."
The meeting was halfway through when a man in his fifties stood up abruptly.
"Apologies, Lord Carter," he said. "I need to take a call."

Nate gave a nod of approval.
The man exited swiftly and stepped into the corridor, answering his phone in a serious tone. "I'm in a meeting. What's so urgent?"
On the other end was a breathless Andrew.
The man who'd answered the call was none other than Karl Johnson, Guardian of the Eastern Martial Arts League.
"Guardian Johnson," Andrew said hurriedly, "there's been an incident during the martial arts competition between the Welch and Kelvin families."
Karl's brow furrowed. "What could possibly be more serious than an S-level mutant? Can't you handle it?"
Andrew replied bitterly, "I wish I could. Your disciple Sawyer... he's dead. And I almost died too."
"What?!"
Karl's voice rose in disbelief. He glanced toward the conference room, then stormed away from the area, his expression darkening.
"What happened? Was it Adam? Has the Kelvin family declared war on the Martial Arts League?"
"No... it wasn't Adam," Andrew replied grimly. "It was someone else..."
He quickly relayed everything that had transpired. When Karl finished listening, his entire body was trembling with rage.
"Stay there. I'm on my way with a team of enforcers," he growled. "I want to see with my own eyes who this lunatic is that dares challenge the Martial Arts League!"
He hung up without informing Nate or Bertha, choosing instead to handle it himself.
After all, Sawyer was his disciple.
Though Sawyer didn't serve officially within the Martial Arts League, Karl had placed immense importance on him. When he first took Sawyer in, it was because of his exceptional martial potential. And Sawyer had lived up to expectations—reaching the late Heaven Realm before the age of 40.
He was Karl's pride and joy.
This time, in order to avoid suspicion, Karl had not attended the martial arts competition himself. Instead, he sent Andrew. Never could he have imagined such a tragedy would unfold in his absence.
The one who killed Sawyer had slapped Karl in the face—publicly.
At the Kelvin Family Residence
The estate was surrounded.
Along with Andrew and his law enforcement team, powerful families from all over Chicago had gathered, eagerly waiting to witness the aftermath.
And behind their feigned concern... many were inwardly rejoicing.
The Welch family's return to Chicago had shaken the local balance of power. Two Heaven Realm masters among them? It had terrified the elite.
Those who had aligned with the Welch family now wondered—was it truly the right choice?
But in truth, no one wanted to be a servant.
They all wanted to be masters.
Now, with Sawyer dead and the Kelvin family under fire for provoking the Martial Arts League, both dominant families were in shambles.
It was the perfect outcome for everyone else.
In the Kelvin family's main hall, the atmosphere was thick with dread.
It was worse than the day Adam had been forced to face Sawyer, before reaching the peak of the Heaven Realm.
Back then, defeat simply meant surrendering 90% of their assets and leaving Chicago in disgrace.
But now?
They had offended a Guardian of the Martial Arts League.
The consequences could be unimaginable.
"Dad... where did that man come from?" asked Tanner, Alfred's eldest son, his voice full of blame. "He killed Sawyer and slapped a Martial Arts League deacon. This isn't just bold—it's suicidal."
His younger brother Matt added, "He's brought disaster upon us. Maybe I should go tell the deacon he has nothing to do with the Kelvin family."
Lydia, standing nearby, scoffed. "I bet that bastard Leon is laughing right now. Just thinking about his smug face makes me sick."
Other descendants chimed in, all echoing the same sentiment:
Disown John. Push him out. Save ourselves.
At the head of the hall sat Alfred, silent as he listened to the chorus of cowardice from his own blood.
His face turned dark.
Suddenly, he slammed his palm onto the table with a resounding crack.
"Enough!" he roared. "Shut your mouths!"
"Senior Lopez is our family's benefactor! Without him, our ancestor would've died at Sawyer's hands!"
"Even now, he's in the backyard healing our father's injuries. And all you ungrateful wretches can think of is selling him out to save yourselves?"
His voice trembled with fury.
"If Senior Lopez heard what you just said... how devastated would he be?"
"You don't deserve to be part of the Kelvin family!"
