The Scheming Billionaire's Heartfelt Devotion-Chapter 499 - 514: I Really Don’t Want You Anymore
Both of them were silent for quite a while, neither willing to speak again. Finally, Manman yelled into the phone in anger, "We are breaking up, right now, immediately."
She sat up from the bed in a rage, lifting her hand and smashing the phone onto the floor: "Damn Feng Yi, damn Feng Yi, is it so hard for you to comfort me? I’ll find a new boyfriend tomorrow."
Manman was already crying uncontrollably, and outside her bedroom, Xu Lan heard the noise and knocked on the door worriedly: "Daughter, if there’s anything, talk it out with Feng Yi, don’t just lose your temper."
"Don’t bother me, it’s so annoying, I want to be alone for a while."
Manman picked up the quilt from the bed and covered herself with it; she felt that her heart was about to burst from pain.
After hanging up the phone, Feng Yi’s face had changed. The moment he heard the girl say they were breaking up, his heart felt like it was tossed into a meat grinder, sharp with pain.
He leaned over the coffee table, took a cigarette box, pulled out a cigarette, and lit it. White smoke wafted from the corner of his mouth.
When Feng Yi picked up the phone to call Manman again, her phone was already turned off.
During dinner, Manman only came out of her room with red-rimmed eyes. She made an excuse that she was going to Xiao Xi’s place to sleep and grabbed her car keys to leave.
Xu Lan worriedly chased after her, talking her out of it for a while but eventually couldn’t stop her.
Li Shitian frowned as he looked at Xu Lan: "That girl is having a fight with Feng Yi, should I call Feng Yi to ask about it?"
"Don’t ask, when our daughter came back she specifically told us not to interfere. Let the kids handle their own matters."
Li Shitian sighed with heartache: "I just saw Manman’s eyes were red from crying. Could it be that Feng Yi bullied our daughter?"
"Emotional matters are about fate; let them be. Besides, you know Manman’s temperament, she probably won’t be bullied."
Xu Lan shook her head helplessly, picked up the chopsticks from the table, and placed a piece of fish in Li Shitian’s bowl: "Come on, eat up."
Manman didn’t go to find Han Xi and Chu Ci; she drove aimlessly around the streets alone, finally stopping at the entrance of a KTV.
Right now, she really wanted to drink until she lost consciousness, so that she wouldn’t keep thinking about that bastard Feng Yi.
After getting out of the car, Manman walked right in, followed the server into a private room, and ordered a lot of alcohol.
She took off her coat, grabbed a beer from the table, and started gulping it down. The beer spilled from her mouth, running down her neck.
Manman wiped her tears away with her hand, tossed the empty beer bottle onto the table, and cried, "Feng Yi, you’re just a bastard, a scoundrel. If you don’t come find me tonight, I really won’t want you anymore, won’t want you anymore..."
Manman knelt on the ground, reaching for more beer to drink. In the dim private room, the big screen was playing Li Yifeng’s song "Please Contact Me."
Who knows how long she drank, but eventually, she fell asleep on the floor while drinking.
The next day, Manman woke up from the ground, her head splitting with pain, her whole body aching terribly. She slowly supported herself on the couch to stand up, then staggered out of the private room.
The moment she opened the door, the glaring light made Manman squint eyes shut. She raised her hand to shield the light and turned to the server next to her: "What time is it now?"
"It’s already past noon." The server replied politely.
"Got it, thank you."
