Chapter 191: Unbelievable

Elsa opened her eyes and she instantly knew that she was dreaming again after seeing the familiar view of the snowy mountain and the forest that she burned down. She looked around exasperated and stomped her feet before screaming.

"Damn!!! When will this dream end? I don’t even know what I am doing here!" She then slumped on the ground and decided to just wait for her dream to end.

She sat there for hours until she heard footsteps. When she looked at the source of the sound, she gasped, covered her mouth with both hands, and exclaimed, "Chris!" before running to him.

She jumped and wrapped her arms around his neck, he did the same for a bit before gently pushing her back.

"This will be the last time that you will see me. Go back to Novus and never come back to Vectus," Chris said making her frown.

"What? What are you saying? I don’t want to go back, I lost Ciel and I will find a way to bring her back no matter what!" Elsa replied.

"I know... Don’t look for me, princess. This is goodbye..." Chris then shifts to his wolf. The black wolf gave her one last look before howling and then faded.

"No, no, no, wait! Chris!" She wailed and sobbed, but immediately stopped when she noticed flowers growing from the ground where her tears fell. She touched them and they suddenly grew into big flowers.

She then tried to touch the ground directly and trees started growing.

[Elsa, our mate,] she heard a deep hoarse voice and that prompted her to wake up and finally open her eyes after sleeping for weeks.

’Yakobo? Is that you?’ she asked the voice in her head.

[I am using the last of my strength to speak with you. It was Chris in your dreams, or at least his voice. Listen to him. Go back to Novus and never return. The witch queen is more powerful now. You won’t win. Please listen to us, we want you safe. Please...] Yakobo’s voice then faded.

"Yakobo!!!" Elsa screamed as she sat up from the bed, alerting the healer who was tasked to look after her at that time.

"Princess! You’re Awake! Please stay here, don’t move, I will call for help," the healer said before storming out of the room.

The news of Elsa waking up quickly spread and reached Elandir who teleported himself to Elsa’s room as soon as he heard the news.

He found her looking out of the window with a somber expression. "You are finally awake! You made us worried. You must be hungry, stay here I will bring you some–"

"Don’t bother, Elandir. I don’t want to eat. And who put this on me?" Elsa said before removing her IV.

"Our healer did. And you have to eat so you can get stronger and we can rescue Christopher that evil witch queen," Elandir said before sitting on the edge of the bed near Elsa.

"There’s no use. I spoke with Chris and his wolf. They don’t want me to go there because I am too weak to defeat the witch queen. And now there’s no chance of me to get strong. Ciel is gone. My powers will never be complete. I will never see Chris again!"

"What are you saying? That’s not true– Stop!" Elandir screamed and ran towards Elsa to grab her arm when she suddenly tried to jump out of the window.

"Let go of me! Let me die! I don’t deserve to live! I am useless and a burden to all, just let me go!"

"Are you insane? Your husband will kill me if something happens to you on my watch. Stop this nonsense, Elsa!"

Elsa tried to cast a fireball but her body was still too weak to fight, so she looked around and saw a small knife beside the tray full of apples. She ran towards it and quickly attempted to stab herself.

However, a very strong gust of wind hit her wrist making her lose grip of the knife, causing it to fall down on the floor. She bent down to pick it up but the wind pushed it away up to the end wall of the room.

"What the..." Elsa was flabbergasted at what was happening until she heard familiar voices.

[Stupid girl...] an old lady said.

"How can you kill yourself if you are too weak to even hold a small knife," a woman’s voice said.

"I am not wea–mom? Ciel?" Elsa’s eyes promptly turned into a waterfall upon seeing Hera and Ciel by the door.

"You just said earlier to Elandir that you are too weak and now you are saying you’re not weak. So what really is it?" Hera said sarcastically as she leaned sideways against the door jamb.

"MOM!!!" Elsa swiftly ran to Hera and enveloped her with her arms as she sobbed and wailed loudly.

Hera hugged her back while rubbing and patting her back. She didn’t say anything anymore and let Elsa cry her heart out.

"Is this true? Are you really here, or this is still part of my dream?" Elsa asked after pulling away while still crying.

Hear wiped her tears with her sleeve, while saying, "I am real. This is not a dream, sweetheart. I am not dead."

She then remembered Ciel and quickly turned to her white dog and hugged her tight, as she continued her sobbing.

[Aw... Aw... Ouch! You are crushing my brittle old bones!] Ciel exclaimed.

"How? How is this possible?" Elsa asked as she tried to wipe her tears.

"Elandir saved us, with the help of the Tree of Life," Hera said, giving Elandir a warm smile.

Elsa turned to Elandir and quickly gave him a very tight hug as well. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"You’re welcome, princess. So do you still want to kill yourself?" Elandir quipped causing everyone to laugh.

"I’m sorry about that. It’s just that Chris and Yakobo spoke to me in our link and they said I should go back to Novus and they don’t want me to rescue him. But Ciel is back, I should start my training right away," Elsa excitedly uttered.

[Woah, woah, easy princess, you just woke up from your four-week sleep,] she heard Gaia remark from behind. When she turned around she and Ciel were already on her bed laying down.

"Four weeks? Oh my god! I have been in a coma for a month. The staff and my mages, we have to get them back, and Chris!"

"Sweetheart, we need to talk. Please sit down first. You’ve missed a lot and there have been some progress and also things that you need to consider," Hera implored.

Hera gestured to Elandir to start briefing Elsa on what happened in the past and their plan.

"I was able to retrieve the staff. Your mages are safe and they should be back in Zemaria by now. They went here to take you back but Hera revealed himself to Drake and he agreed to let you stay here.

Prince Andrius and Prince Drake will investigate Princess Milda and Queen Irina. Your amethyst necklace was enchanted, the reason for the witch queen to locate you, and the queen and princess could be involved with it.

King Alaric made a deal with your husband to help him rescue Princess Neia from the demon king and in return he would let go of the mages so they could regroup with you and Zemaria. Lexi decided to be a spy against Arcanis by marking her mate Baahu to send information to Zemaria. But then you decided to sleep for a while missing all of it."

"What? Lexi and Baahu are mates? And they are bonded? How come I didn’t notice it?" Elsa asked in surprise.

Elandir rolled his eyes and asked, "Of everything I just told you, you only heard about Lexi and Baahu’s mating? Unbelievable! Hera, your daughter is really like you..."

"Of course, I heard all of it, but Baahu being Lexi’s mate interests me more," Elsa admitted.

"Talking about interesting... The next news will interest you more," Elandir said before turning to Hera, prompting Elsa to look at her mom as well.

"Sweetheart, the witch queen plans to be marked by both King Alaric and Prince Christopher on the blood moon. It will somehow make Chris share his True Alpha blood with his uncle."

"What? But that would erase Chris’ mark on me and he will be the mate of that woman!"

"Exactly..." Elandir said, causing him to receive a glare from Hera.

"I must get Chris out of there right away!" Elsa added.

"That’s the thing, Elsa. We will not allow you to fight. At least not yet. You still need to get back your earth and air power remember? Plus, your condition is very sensitive. Honey, you are pregnant," Hera informed Elsa who just stared at her blankly.

Hera looked at Elandir when Elsa didn’t react and he said, "Perhaps, your daughter’s brain is still sleeping, don’t you think?"
