Chapter 117: The Villa

***A/N: Thank you so much to _eunmi for the Magic Castle yesterday. Thank you for reading my 1st book and following my stories here on the 2nd book. I am forever grateful to you!

"Your Highness, any power you can share with werewolves like us will be willingly shared. That’s why there was such excitement in welcoming you. No divine mage had ever become a Luna in the history of Arcanis. Although we’re uncertain about the nature of what will be shared, we are confident it will prove useful in every aspect, enhancing the pack’s strength," Laureen expressed.

"Upon your proclamation as Luna of the prince’s pack, we will join the battle, Princess. Your primary responsibility is to heal those beyond the reach of ordinary healers. However, King Allister and Prince Christopher have instructed us to commence your training in controlling and utilizing your elemental powers. It would be more convenient if circumstances were different, but we will adapt," Arla sighed.

"Alright. Please train me and don’t you ever think of being soft on me just because I am a princess. I can handle whatever hardship you will throw at me. So please do your best," Elsa uttered with full conviction. But deep inside she was as nervous as hell. She doesn’t doesn’t know if she would be able to do it.

She looked at her dog who was also looking at her. Something inside tells her that when she mastered her elements, it would be a sad day for her instead of a celebration, she just doesn’t know why.

A short while later, Hoven and the elderly woman emerged from the villa, with Hoven briskly approaching Elsa. "Princess..." Hoven began, pausing and tightening his lips. Elsa could sense his struggle to find the right words.

"Just say it, Hoven. Your silence is making me nervous," Elsa impatiently interjected.

"His wolf, named Yakobo, is strong and assertive. He knows what he wants. Chris has always had control over him, but tonight, he believes it’s the full moon plus it’s your mating night, so he went haywire. Chris managed to regain control, but we’re uncertain about what will happen when he sees or even smells you," Hoven cautioned.

"I don’t understand. What’s so bad about it? He has never tried to harm me before, so why are you bringing this up now?" Elsa inquired, still trying to grasp Hoven’s explanation.

It appeared that Hoven struggled with finding the right words, standing in front of Elsa and avoiding eye contact as he contemplated how to relay the information. Fortunately, Laureen stepped in, being well-versed in such matters, and took it upon herself to explain.

"Mating with a werewolf during a full moon can be overwhelming for a human, Princess. Our strength allows us to be more intense, our endurance lets us go on for extended periods, and the full moon heightens our sexual drive when we are with our mates.

We don’t easily reach satisfaction during this time, meaning we crave more—repeating the act without pause until we are satiated. As a human, your endurance may be limited. However, the prince, particularly his wolf, will desire more. Do you understand what I am saying, Princess?"

Elsa swallowed hard, feeling the warmth spread across her face as Laureen described the possibilities, a mix of excitement and fear coursing through her. Despite her nerves, she trusted Chris and knew he wouldn’t harm her.

"I understand. This is something I must face, so let’s just proceed and get it over with," Elsa said with determination.

"Remember, Princess, if you ever sense your life is in danger, call upon your dogs. That signal will alert us, and we’ll come to your rescue. The prince mentioned there’s a connection between you and your dogs," Hoven cautioned.

"Yeah, but I can only communicate with them when I’m facing them–"

["Yes, you can talk to us from a distance. You just haven’t tried."] Ciel interjected.

"Oh! I can?" Elsa exclaimed, glancing down at Ciel.

"I suppose your dog has already confirmed it?" Hoven inquired.

"Yes," Elsa took a deep breath, closing her eyes before turning to her team and Hoven. "I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me. Chris and Yakobo won’t harm me. I promise to ask for help if I need it. Please take care of my dogs," Elsa assured, and everyone nodded before she and Hoven headed towards the villa’s gate.

Hoven opened the heavy gate and gave her one last reminder. "There is a gazebo inside and I asked someone yesterday to surround it with mountain ash. Stay inside it if you call for us while waiting. Chris can break it since he is a true alpha but not that easily. It will give us some time to reach you," Hoven said before letting Elsa go into the villa.

"Thank you for everything," Elsa smiled at Hoven one last time before stepping inside. She cast a final glance at the gate as it closed.

The villa, initially seeming small, revealed its true vastness indoors. Arla’s mention of a spell to make it untraceable suddenly made sense. "How can anyone not trace a huge house like this?" she murmured to herself as she walked towards it. She saw the gazebo that Hoven was talking about but there were three, one on the left and right and another one near the house.

Flower gardens lined both sides of the path, and ornamental trees, shedding leaves in anticipation of winter, adorned the surroundings. Elsa stood before the house door, taking several deep breaths before entering.

The luxurious interior mirrored her room in the castle, complete with a kitchen and a living room. While exploring, Elsa heard a pained growl and the clinking of chains, her heart sinking as she realized Hoven had restrained Chris somewhere in the house. She quickly searched for him, finding a door at the end of the hallway past the kitchen.

Gently opening the door, she called out, "Chris? Are you in here?" Warm light emanated from candles and a fireplace inside the room, accompanied by the sound of chains rattling.

"Don’t you ever fucking come near me, Elsa! Do not come near me!" Chris yelled, aced with pain, and echoed through the room.
