A few days had passed since the first day of the term, and now, the recruitment day had arrived. Yeah, compared to what the anime showed, with all the clubs promoting themselves in front of the school’s gate on the first day, the reality was way different here.
The school knew that the scene would be chaotic, so they just set up one special day to let the clubs go berserk here, recruit all the new troops in one go. This was also to make everything fair, as no one could poach the talents the other team eyed without the teacher’s supervision. At least, this would make the process a little bit fairer here.

Coming to the hall, a handsome boy with a slick haircut strolled around while also being surrounded by so many girls, as if he were an emperor bringing his harem descending to earth.
He got a strong hostility from all around the place, though, as it was unethical to act like he was a main character like this, being surrounded by girls like he was the second coming of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the boy didn’t really care, just smiled charmingly at one of the girls here.
"Me? Darling, I am going to join the football team. You don’t need to do the same for me here, because it will make me sweat a lot. I don’t want to let you see me in such a pitiful state, sweetheart, so just wait from afar and watch me shine, okay?"

As the boy saw the registration table for the football club, he took a deep sigh, for the first time showing a hint of nervousness on his handsome face since he came into the hall earlier.

On the other side of the school, another freshman also entered the hall. However, the boy had a huge and broad posture, and his gaze, one eye getting covered by a bang, was enough to scare the shit out of all the people inside.
It was such a misunderstanding, but with the boy’s quiet demeanor and scary gaze, rumors started to spread that the school accepted a gangster here. The blonde-colored hair and earrings in his ears also didn’t help his case here, as everyone just saw him as a delinquent.
His name was Keita Sano, and with 188 cm and around 75 kg, it was clear that he was an ideal athlete for the sports club. However, no one really approached him, and he was quite depressed with the situation.

There, a girl was always smiling whenever she spread the recruitment form, and somehow, the boy was intrigued to see how she would react to his presence. It was one of the most crowded places here, and this alone was enough to pique the boy’s interest.
"Urgh... Excuse me?" He finally spoke once they were close enough, trying to be extra polite here. Unfortunately, his heavy tone was enough to scare the shit out of everyone here, and he couldn’t help but sigh in disappointment when the crowd dispersed instantly.
However, before he could leave, though, he heard that angelic voice, piercing his cold heart instantly with just a simple question.
"Yes, Kouhai, what can I help you with here?"
Keita Sano snapped his head immediately, not expecting someone to be brave enough to respond to him. However, once he saw the clear, innocent eyes of the girl in front of him, his heart skipped, and somehow, he couldn’t help but blurt out a single word here.

In the middle of the crowd, two twin brothers were still whispering at each other, their eyes wandering all over the place to figure out where the stand for the football club was. "This is so shady! Those two were Denji and Denki Hotaru, two twin brothers who came from Kashima, Ibaraki, who came to this school to play with their senpai Hiroshi here. Yeah, the twins came from the same prefecture as their senior here, from the Saitama prefecture.
