"You don't want him to have such an easy death?" Qin Fan smirked. He glanced at the twitching Wen Congshu. "Fine," he said. "Sever the tendons in one of his arms and one of his legs. And while you're at it, chop off the instrument of his crime!"

HISS!

At the suggestion of this inhumane torture, a cold shudder ran through the soldiers. What is ruthless? What is utterly cruel? This is the perfect demonstration!

"No, no, you can't do this! Master Liao is almost here! He's almost here! You can't do this!" Guo Wenhai shrieked in a panic.

BANG!

But Qin Fan responded with a swift kick that sent Guo Wenhai crashing into the reception desk, scattering everything on its surface onto the floor with a loud clatter.

"Thank you, Instructor!" Tie Niu shouted, his voice thick with emotion as he gritted his teeth, tears welling in his determined eyes.

Severing tendons and appendages. If they didn't hold their current status, it might be a different story. But to commit such a heinous act while in uniform, the consequences would be unimaginable. Yet, as their instructor, Qin Fan had granted his request, shouldering all the pressure and fallout himself. Once word of this got out, Qin Fan would be the first to be held accountable.

But they didn't know Qin Fan's reality. Accountability? What the hell was that? Did he need to care? Who would dare hold him accountable?

"Go on," Qin Fan said with a slight nod. "Vent your hatred however you see fit. If the sky falls, I'll be here to hold it up."

Sniffling, Tie Niu said no more. He knew that any more words would be hollow. He would engrave this immense favor from Qin Fan into his very soul.

SHING!

Bending down, Tie Niu drew a vicious military dagger from its sheath in his boot. The blinding glint of the blade flashed across the lobby. A savage ferocity twisted his features as, dagger in hand, he walked toward Wen Congshu step by step.

"No, no, don't! Don't!" a weak voice pleaded from the terrified Wen Congshu. In his eyes, Tie Niu was a devil from the depths of Purgatory. His pupils contracted with every step of the approaching nightmare. He was being scared to death, but tragically, he wasn't allowed to die.

"No, no, don't come any closer! Don't come any closer!" Wen Congshu shrieked weakly, his legs twitching faster as he shook his head with what little strength he had left. But nothing could shake the resolve in Tie Niu's eyes.

"You deserve to die," Tie Niu rasped, his voice chillingly hoarse. "But a simple death would be letting you off too easy!"

He reached Wen Congshu and, without hesitation, stomped on his forearm. Bending low, he pressed the bright, glaring dagger slowly against his wrist.

"NO! NO!!!" A hysterical scream threatened to shred his throat.

What followed was a brutal stab and a vicious slice from Tie Niu.

RIP!

With that slice, blood arced through the air like a fountain. Immediately, an unrestrained, desperate scream erupted from Wen Congshu's mouth.

Tie Niu remained expressionless, indifferent to the agonizing cries. He tore Wen Congshu's shirt into strips and tightly bound the wound on his wrist. He had no intention of letting Wen Congshu bleed out. He wanted to make him wish for a death that would not come.

He moved down, planting his foot on Wen Congshu's thigh. Gritting his teeth, he plunged the dagger near his ankle and sliced upward with force. Ghastly crimson blood shot out in arcs like arrows, splattering across Tie Niu's dark, fierce face.

Wiping the blood from his cheek, Tie Niu gave a grim smile. He repeated the process, tightly binding the wound with another cloth strip to prevent an accidental death from blood loss.

"Just one last cut. It's almost over! Hold on. You won't die, you definitely won't! Haha—!"

As he laughed, Tie Niu began to cry. He understood the hard truth: no matter what happened to the scum beneath him, the violation his sister had suffered could never be undone.

In a heart-wrenching fit of laughter and tears, Tie Niu swung the dagger and sliced open Wen Congshu's crotch. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

A few seconds later, a wretched scream that was beyond human echoed through the entire hotel lobby. Wen Congshu finally fainted.

Ignoring the unconscious man, Tie Niu calmly used another cloth strip to fastidiously tie a neat bow over the final wound.

「At that very moment.」

Outside the hotel, an Audi R8 screeched to a halt. An infuriated young man stormed in, bellowing, "Running wild on my Liao Family's territory? Fucking hell, have you all lost your minds!"

"Master Liao!" Seeing the young man enter, the ashen-faced Guo Wenhai endured his shattered body's agony and began to crawl toward him.

The young man's eyes swept over the lobby, now a scene of utter devastation, its former splendor completely destroyed. His gaze then fell upon the blood-soaked, unconscious form of Wen Congshu, and an unprecedented fury erupted from within his chest. A slap in the face! This was trampling his face into the dirt!

Outsiders didn't know that he was the largest shareholder of the Emperor Hotel. It was he who had brought Wen Congshu into the fold and put Guo Wenhai in charge. And now, this was the scene that greeted him?

Ignoring the crawling Guo Wenhai, the young man fixed his eyes on Qin Fan. "Who gave you the nerve?"

"Do I need someone else's courage to deal with these useless clowns?" Qin Fan shook his head with contempt.

"Haha! Good, good, very good! Since you're so brave, why don't you tell me your unit's designation?" The young man's face turned impossibly cold, a sign that his volcanic anger was about to blow.

"Northwest Military Region. You got a problem with that?" Qin Fan taunted.

The Northwest Military Region?

The young man froze. Who in the Northwest Military Region didn't know of their Liao Family? Yet they dared to wreck his place? "Where did you say you were from?" the young man demanded in disbelief.

"When the upper beam is crooked, the lower ones will be askew. The whole family is a bunch of rat droppings," Qin Fan said dismissively, shaking his head. With his Divine Sense, he could already feel Han Rongguang and Liao Yuan rushing toward them.

"Damn it! Who the hell are you calling a family of rat droppings? Fine! Just fine! You dare to brazenly assault and maim a civilian in public? Let me tell you, you're finished! All of you are fucking finished! I'll make you a promise: if you walk out of this hotel's front door today, my name isn't Liao Shijie!" Liao Shijie roared, pointing a trembling finger at Qin Fan.

As his words fell, a heavily armed SWAT team swarmed in from outside.

The reason Liao Shijie could protect Guo Wenhai and act as a kingpin in Ningchuan wasn't just his family's military influence; it was also due to the personal power he had cultivated over many years under the Liao Family's banner. In both the underworld and polite society, who didn't give face to the Liao Family's young master?

"Are those your dogs?" Qin Fan asked, ignoring the armed officers surrounding them as he walked slowly toward Liao Shijie.

"Don't move!" several officers shouted before Liao Shijie could speak.

But Qin Fan merely licked his lips with a faint, indifferent smile.

Looking Liao Shijie in the eye, he continued, "They say you should know the master before you beat his dog. But today, I think I'll have to make an exception and beat the dog right in front of its master!"

"You dare!" Liao Shijie bellowed the instant Qin Fan finished speaking.

Beating his dog right in front of him? If word of this got out, how could he, Liao Shijie, ever hold his head high in Ningchuan again?
