The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 222 - 218: Wish they were better off dead!
As the formidable group surged forward, the many dignitaries still lingering in the Qin Family’s courtyard stared with wide eyes.
Are they here for the Qin Family?
The thought alone made everyone shiver uncontrollably.
"Surround them! Don’t let a single person escape!" the middle-aged man in the lead commanded with a grave expression, waving his hand.
"Yes, sir!"
As the dignitaries trembled, dozens of uniformed personnel swiftly encircled the celebration platform.
When they saw Old Madam Qin, motionless and drenched in blood in her wheelchair, and the incredibly eerie, bright red coffin, even these righteous and imposing members of the Law Enforcement Team felt a chill crawl down their spines.
They had received orders to apprehend the entire Qin Family during Old Madam Qin’s birthday banquet but never expected to walk into such a tumultuous scene. A birthday banquet where the guest of honor had bled to death, with a bright red coffin sitting brazenly on the celebration platform.
This... this—
Instinctively, the Law Enforcement Team members who had formed a circle around the Qin Family all looked up at the young man standing in the center of the platform.
He wore a sinister, cold smile, his aura overflowed with a horrifying malevolence, and his bloodthirsty eyes regarded the members of the Qin Family as mere ants.
Could Old Madam Qin’s death and that coffin be related to him?
While they were frowning in thought, the leader quickly stepped onto the celebration platform. Stopping about two or three feet from Qin Fan, the leader and his men bowed in unison. "Grandmaster Qin!"
Grandmaster Qin?
Old Master Qin, who was still kneeling on the ground and hadn’t yet processed the arrival of the Law Enforcement Team, shuddered violently when he heard the title. In that instant, his breathing grew chaotic.
Having reached his current status, he was certainly not an ignorant man. Two years ago, he had gone to the capital and attended an exchange conference where he met Hua Xiaotian, hailed as the number one figure in all of Huaxia. On that occasion, several powerful titans had also bowed and respectfully addressed him as "Grandmaster Hua!"
The title of Grandmaster represented a martial artist at the Transformation Realm!
Grandmaster Hua, Grandmaster Qin... Could it be that Qin Fan is also a Transformation Realm Grandmaster?
When this thought struck him, Old Master Qin forgot to beg, forgot his grievances, and was left completely stupefied. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
A Transformation Realm Grandmaster in his teens... a Transformation Realm Grandmaster from his own Qin family bloodline... the very same Transformation Realm Grandmaster he had cast out of the family!
Struck by this sudden realization, the stunned Old Master Qin felt a rush of blood to his head and spat out a mouthful of crimson Essence Blood.
"Old Master!"
"Dad!"
"Grandfather!"
"Grandpa!"
First was Old Madam Qin’s gruesome death, and now Old Master Qin was coughing up blood. Forgetting the fear inspired by the Law Enforcement Team and Qin Fan, the entire Qin Family began to scream hysterically.
Ignoring the Qin family’s shouts, Qin Fan spoke, his voice ice-cold and laced with swirling malevolence. "Do what you came here to do."
"Yes, Grandmaster Qin!" The leading men bowed slightly, and one waved his hand. The uniformed Law Enforcement Team members immediately pulled documents with red stamps from their coats and presented them to the members of the Qin Family.
"Qin Jiang, you are under arrest!"
"Qin Jun, you are under arrest!"
"Zhou Yun, you are under arrest!"
"Geng Ruixuan, you are under arrest!"
"Qin Xiaolan, you are under arrest!"
"Qin Qiulan, you are under arrest!"
Dozens of voices rang out one after another without pause.
Aside from Old Master Qin, Qin Jie, Qin Moran, and the old butler, every member of the Qin Family—be they children, grandchildren, or in-laws—was named on an arrest warrant.
"Arrest me? You don’t have the right! Get out! All of you, get out!" Pushed over the edge, Qin Jiang flew into a frenzy, his face pale as he waved his arms and roared.
"Show him the official seal on the warrant," one of the leading men sneered, shaking his head as he spoke to the officer facing Qin Jiang.
"No, no, no, it’s impossible! Impossible! You’re fakes! This isn’t real!" Staring at the clear red official seal, Qin Jiang shoved the officer aside and tried to make a run for it.
His so-called composure, his ability to remain calm in a crisis, all his cunning—in that instant, it all vanished into thin air.
"Handcuff them all!"
Trying to run?
The leader snorted coldly and barked the command.
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!
As he gave the order, dozens of cold, gleaming handcuffs appeared in the hands of the Law Enforcement Team. They moved quickly, clamping the cuffs onto the wrists of the Qin family members.
"Take them away!" the leader barked again, his sharp gaze sweeping coldly over the handcuffed Qin family members.
"No, let me go!"
"Why are you arresting me? Why!"
"Grandfather, save me, save me!"
"No, no, no, this has nothing to do with me! I didn’t do anything! Damn it, let go of me!"
For the Qin family, the journey from the celebration platform to the gates of the Qin Mansion was a fall from heaven into Hell. Over the several-hundred-meter walk, their hysterical struggles never ceased, but against the well-trained Law Enforcement Team, it was utterly futile.
Witnessing this swift wave of arrests, the invited banquet guests were all stunned, their faces masks of utter disbelief.
Qin Fan had arrived with a coffin. Old Madam Qin had died, bleeding profusely. Qin Jun and Qin Yuanbin had been crippled one after another. Old Master Qin had knelt and begged for mercy. And now, the top-level Law Enforcement Team had arrived to carry out what was essentially the complete annihilation of the Qin Family.
Not even a television drama would dare to script such an extreme series of reversals.
The Qin Family, which had stood firm for decades, a deeply rooted power in Lingnan that seemed poised to overtake even the Ye Family, had collapsed and been uprooted in a matter of minutes?
If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, absolutely no one would have believed it. This was more unbelievable than a tale from the Arabian Nights!
"What will happen to them?" Qin Fan asked lightly from the celebration platform.
"Grandmaster Qin, if all goes as expected, once the proceedings are complete, their sentences will fall into three categories: suspended death sentences, life imprisonment, or more than ten years in prison," replied the leader of the Law Enforcement Team, who was dispatched directly from the highest echelons. He spoke with the utmost respect, bowing slightly with cupped hands.
Although this was his first time meeting or speaking with Qin Fan, and despite the fact that the person before him was merely a teenager, none of that mattered. All that mattered was the weight behind the title "Grandmaster Qin."
"I hope they suffer a fate worse than death. Heh," Qin Fan said with a smirk as the malevolence surrounding him began to recede.
The team leader remained silent, but his eyelids twitched.
"Alright, you’re all busy people. You may go," Qin Fan said with a slight smile, patting the man’s shoulder, sensing the man understood his unspoken meaning.
"Then I will take my leave, Grandmaster Qin. Farewell!" Bowing respectfully once more, the middle-aged man turned and strode resolutely away.
After the Law Enforcement Team had led the Qin family members away, Qin Moran completely broke down. "Qin Fan, are you satisfied now? Does your revenge feel good?" he howled like a madman, tears streaming down his face. "You’re too cruel! Too cruel!"
