Upon Director Wu’s words, a dangerous glint appeared in the eyes of the Xiao Family siblings, but deep down, they weren’t afraid at all of what Liu Yun might do to them.

The three little treasures were unafraid, while Situ Jin, who had received a call from Xiao Shiyao, was on edge the whole time. He knew very well that Liu Yun, his sister Situ Xin’s mother-in-law, didn’t get along with his sister and brother-in-law, and though the children had been born for years, Liu Yun, as their grandmother, had never visited the three little treasures. Now Liu Yun had shown up, and to directly appear at the kids’ school was suspicious no matter how one looked at it.

Situ Jin couldn’t reach Xiao Shiyao after making a call to his niece. He thought for a moment and then dialed Xiao Muli’s number. "Hello," Situ Jin heard Xiao Muli’s hasty footsteps on the other end of the line, thinking that Muli must be busy with something. But no matter how busy he might be, the issue with the three little treasures was still of utmost importance.

"Hello, Muli. I need to tell you something. I just received a message from Shiyao saying some woman claiming to be their grandmother showed up at their school. After getting the message, I’ve tried calling her, but no one’s picking up. I’m worried," Situ Jin got straight to the point.

"I just got wind of it too. My mother went to the school to look for Shiyao and the others. I’m heading to the school right this moment," said Xiao Muli before hanging up the phone. He got into his car, started the engine, and slammed the gas pedal, driving towards the school.

Xiao Muli was in a meeting just a few moments ago when his cellphone rang. People from Xiao’s were accustomed to their BOSS’s phone ringing during meetings. They watched their BOSS pick up his phone, guessing amongst themselves whether it was from their madam or their young miss.

However, upon seeing their BOSS’s increasingly grim expression after answering the call, they realized that it was neither from their madam nor their young miss.

Xiao Muli hadn’t expected to receive a call from the subordinates he had assigned to keep constant surveillance on his mother, Liu Yun. His subordinates informed him that his mother was now at his daughter and son’s school, attempting to take the three children away.

The news made Xiao Muli’s aura instantly grow cold. He stood up, said simply, "We’ll end today’s meeting here," and left the conference room, rushing towards the school where the three little treasures were.

Back in the school guidance office, when Director Wu agreed to let Liu Yun take the Xiao siblings away, the smile on Liu Yun’s face was radiant. In her heart, however, she spitefully thought, "Situ Xin, you dared to seduce my son and destroy the Liu Family, now I’ll let you feel the pain of losing your own children."

The Xiao Family siblings disliked the aura emanating from this woman who claimed to be their grandmother. Xiao Shiyao quietly asked her brothers, Xiao Xuyang and Xiao Xuyao, "Big Brother, Second Brother, what do we do now? Are we actually going to go with her?"

Xiao Xuyao did not speak, but Xiao Xuyang immediately replied enthusiastically, "Of course, we only find out what she intends to do and what schemes she has if we go with her."

"But," Xiao Shiyao hesitated a bit. She remembered her mother warning them not to go with strangers, especially this one who clearly looked like he was up to no good.

"No ’buts’ now. With our skills, that old hag is no match for us. We’re just going to follow her and see what exactly she’s up to. If the situation goes south, we’ll make our move and then just run away," Xiao Xuyang spoke with authority.

Xiao Shiyao felt a bit tempted after hearing this. But still, she softly sought her big brother Xiao Xuyao’s opinion. "Big Brother, what do you think?"

"Just listen to Yangyang," the icy-faced Xiao Xuyao was also curious about what this person, who claimed to be their grandmother, wanted to do with them.

Seeing that her big brother had agreed, Xiao Shiyao had no objections either.

Leaving the guidance office, Liu Yun walked ahead, with Xiao Shiyao, Xiao Xuyao, and Xiao Xuyang trailing a step behind. Liu Yun would occasionally turn back to check if the three little rascals were still following.

Seeing the three obediently walking behind her lightened Liu Yun’s sulky mood significantly. She could already envision Situ Xin’s despair upon finding out about her children’s mishap. Just the thought of Situ Xin’s anguish made Liu Yun feel incredibly pleased.

"I think that’s the question I should be asking you," Xiao Muli replied coldly.
