The Princess Kidnapping System Made Me OP-Chapter 59: Quest complete!
Chapter 59: Quest complete!
"And you’re not really Xanthos but Wise, the SkyFire Dragon?"
"Mmhmmm." Wise murmured as he bit into a piece of meat.
"And you swallowed me after our fight..."
"Precisely." Wise nodded.
"Wait, does that mean I’m no longer in Teasei?" She asked, a little surprise seeping into her voice.
Wise pointed at the forest around them with his meat. "Does this look like Teasei?"
"So you kidnapped me?" She asked, her voice flat.
"Don’t use raw words like kidnap, I simply took you per the provisions stipulated by our bet."
Aofie sighed and weakly moved her hand to slap her forehead in frustration. "Isn’t that the definition of kidnapping?"
Esme chuckled as she handed another meat to Wise. Then she placed a single finger on Aofie’s shoulder to avoid the wet substance.
"First time?"
Aofie just stared at her without saying a word, before her expression suddenly changed and she began squirming around on his lap. "W-what about my mom? How did you escape her?!"
"It was nothing a little arson couldn’t solve..."
Wise could see respect blossoming in her eyes. "Wow... You’re quite something. I doubt anyone has managed to piss my mother off as much as you’ve probably done."
"Pissing people off is an innate talent." Wise smiled smugly. "But just in case... she won’t be coming after me right?"
Aofie shook her head. "A bet is a bet and you played her in addition to it. Her pride won’t allow her."
Wise felt relieved knowing that he would not be seeing the crazed woman any time soon.
Then he remembered a little detail he had almost forgotten. "Oh, and sorry for almost killing you with that death blow..."
Shaking her head left and right, Aofie smiled. "Don’t be, that blow was sublime!" Her face was slowly turning pink from excitement and her breath became steamy.
"Ahh," she sighed strangely. "I would like to take that attack head on sometime soon! Maybe I’ll be able to deflect it at least..."
Her breathing had increased now, and she was staring at Wise in a way that made him wish he didn’t have her on his legs...
’A battle fanatic...’
Another weird princess...
Aofie could help but think about how much fun she could potentially have if she went with Wise. How much stronger could she potentially get if she had a dragon as her sparring partner?
A dragon who wouldn’t hesitate to hit her with all the big catastrophic moves!
A steamy breath escaped her lips as the thought of it made her tremble with excitement. But she could not let it show...
She forced herself to present a straight face. But her cheeks were giving her away...
She wiped her face to calm herself and then cleared her throat before speaking, "Uhum, about your earlier proposal... I accept, I will learn under you."

Trying to act as though a screen had not flashed in front of his face, Wise looked over to Esme. "Another meat on a stick please!"
As Aofie watched Esme hand him another piece of perfectly roasted piece meat, her stomach began to grumble loudly. "Hey, what about me?"
Wise raised a brow. "What about what?"
She glanced at the meat. "Food..."
"Oh, you want to eat? Then you’ll have to bathe first—"
Just as Wise was finishing his sentence, he suddenly saw two silhouettes standing beside him and staring down at Aofie.
Frey and Daphne who had strangely woken up as well...
"Yes, it’s time for your bath," Freya said, her expression dark. Daphne on the other hand was not speaking, she just quietly glared at Aofie.
"No, wait, I’m no longer hungry!" Aofie screamed.
Freya giggled. "Nonsense, don’t worry, we’ll take good care of you!"
Aofie was pulled away from him, kicking and screaming while begging Wise for help, the latter simply waved, leaving her to her fate.
He could have sworn he heard something about drowning but they couldn’t be serious right?
Wise relaxed, now free to enjoy the night in relative silence.
At least that was his hope, right up until he felt something grab onto his head and pull him back.

The next day...
Wise was leading the girls through the forest based on his intuition and senses, combined with his earlier knowledge of the terrain.
Now that they were done with the Ork city, naturally, they were back to the original plan which was to get to the Skentic ruins.
While Wise was cutting the stubborn branches out of the way, the girls were preoccupied with staring at his head.
Freya walked next to him and tapped his shoulder, her face showing concern. "What happened to your hair?"
His normally smooth silky hair had been desecrated. Hair strands that were meant to be set free had been bound in horrifying braids.
Behind them, Esme was smiling as though she knew nothing of how the braids had resulted.
Wise sighed and then fire suddenly erupted from his hands. He then ran that fire over his hair, until his hair burst into flames.
Their reaction was varied, but knowing that he was a dragon, none of them did anything to interrupt him.
As the fire burned through his hair, the braids fell apart, leaving his long hair to once again fall down his shoulders.
But the braids were not the only thing the fire took along with it, the black dye he had used twice now was burnt away with it, revealing his hair’s natural blue sheen.
"So that is what your hair really looks like?" Esme chimed in excitement as she ran over to observe it closely.
Wise smiled. "Fabulous isn’t it?"
The petite girl nodded repeatedly. "Do all dragons have their hair colour the same as their skin?"
’Back to your research huh...’
"Most dragons do, but there are some that also have completely different hair colours as well."
Esme slowed down a step, pleased with the information she had gotten while Aofie spoke up from where she was.
"You went as far as dying your hair, it seems you’re no stranger to kidnapping, Wise."
Wise coughed but didn’t reply, and then he finally cut through the last group of plants that were obstructing their way, revealing a long dirty path behind it.
Now all they had to do was wait for a carriage that would take them to the seaport.
Luckily for them, they didn’t have to wait too long because shortly after, a carriage began speeding down the road.
Daphne took a step forward to stop the carriage, already lifting her hand.
Wise slowly shook his head. "Merchant carriages are very distrusting, trust me, we might have to ask up to ten merchants before getting someone to give us a ride."
As the carriage came closer, the merchant pulled it to a stop.
Daphne was about to speak when the merchant swiftly interrupted her. "Do you girls need a ride to the seaport? Hop on, I’ll take you for free!"
All it took was one glance at the four beauties to fold him like a warm piece of bread.
Wise remembered the first time he tried hailing down a carriage, they didn’t even bother to stop! It was only the tenth carriage, an old man that agreed to drop him off.
And that was only because he believed he was his long lost grandchild.
Wise waited for the girls to board the carriage first, and then when he was about to enter, the merchant stretched out his hand.
"What?" Wise asked while staring at his wrinkled hand.
"Money of course." The merchant laughed. "Oh, you thought it was free for you?"
Wise smiled. "You know..."

After threatening to take the girls along with him, the merchant quickly accepted him onboard with a forced smile.
The journey to the seaport was brief and uneventful and once they arrived, they boarded a ship heading to the Skentic ruins.
The most important part of their journey had finally begun...
