Chapter 1490 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (5)

Andar had a unique bond with the Magus he was close to, like the Limit Breakers and Mira's family, but not the Magus World, there was a dark cloud hidden under all that light that Andar could no longer ignore.

He paused before the massive Supreme World of Mages, a realm that resembled a burning star shackled by the Wills and ambition of the Mages, vast beyond reasoning and bristling with life and power, even as a fifth-dimensional magus, he had barely explored a single percent of this realm.

The surface of this realm was a marvel of magic and engineering, as cities the size of universes were built upon it, and it was the hub for countless trade deals and administration. Governing an unknown number of universes plus organizing all the Magnus affairs in the higher realm was not a small task, multiple generations of mages were bent towards this affair and countless billions of them inhabited all of these cities in pursuit of the Magus World domination.

If Andar had been a mage of lesser talent and was not too suited for combat, he would have spent his entire life on the surface of this world, working for countless minor eras until his soul flame expired even under the immortality that being a member of a supreme world promises.

Andar would have found it a bit strange that Rowan was not implicitly aware of the "lifespan" of so-called immortals, thinking that every immortal whose soul was kept safe in the domain of a Supreme World would live forever, but this was not the case.

A normal immortal's lifespan was the same as the lifespan of a universe, which was a billion trillion years, which was the same as the period of a Minor Era.

If that immortal was to become a part of a Supreme World, then they no longer had to endure the same lifespan as the universe, and their souls were free to live forever, however, if the immortal was unable to touch the higher dimensional realm, their souls could not grow past a certain limit, and as time passes, the energy and power from their souls would begin to fade, and it was the case that most immortals even free from the shackles of living for just a minor era did not succeed to live past that date.

Not everyone had the strength to endure the ravages of time and the cold hand of death that was on everyone's shoulders.

Andar was now a fifth-dimensional immortal, his soul was far greater than any lesser immortal could boast of, and his lifespan would continue for many minor eras, he had barely lived for a fraction of a fraction of his estimated lifespan, and his road ahead still remained bright.

With his talent he would not be stuck on the surface of this realm, instead, he was privileged to begin heading deeper into it.

There was a secret only known to Mages who reached a higher dimensional realm, and that was at the center of this realm, was the tower of Endirius, the Supreme Mage, and it was said that anyone who could reach it would be granted a chance to reach the realm of Supreme.

Andar did not know if there was any other mage that had reached the Supreme Level, and he expected that there should have been a couple, but they did not easily reveal their presence to others. With his experience he understood that a Supreme Mage was equal to an eighth-dimensional Old One, however, he doubted that Endirius was just a simple Old One.

With his quick ascension to the fifth-dimensional level, Andar was pushing for permission to enter deeper into the realm, and he was standing here over the realm, waiting for news, and it did not take long for it to arrive.

Ahead of him, space parted, and a massive purple rose appeared, it dispersed into shadows and the form of a beautiful woman materialized from the vanishing shadow.

For the past million years, Andar had been progressively getting higher in the Magus hierarchy, his unprecedented talent leaving all competitors far behind until it became something that could no longer be contested.

His rapid growth meant he had to seek new allies in unexpected places, one of them was Aeynid Erik, The Purple Rose, his mother.

Aeynid was a woman of great talent, and in less than a million years she had grown from a one-star Archmage to a seven-star Archmage, a superb record for a mage, but it was nothing compared to her son who grew from a Rank 1 Mage to a fifth-dimensional being in that period, and the only reason that he was not a Tower Master, lording over countless universes was that he did not choose to.

She could not be compared to a freak like her son, but what Aeynid may lack in talent when compared to her son, she more than made up for in the aspect of politics and understanding the nature of others.

Andar's quick ascent in the hierarchy of mages was accelerated in part by the presence of his mother, who made sure that his road was smooth, by any means necessary, even if bloodshed was needed. Andar remembered telling her that she should spare the innocent if that was possible, and she had looked at him quite strangely before laughing, "My dear boy, we are mages, none of us are innocent."

An outside observer without the knowledge of power may look at Andar and Aeynid and they might think that Andar was a lesser immortal before his mother. He wore only a gray jacket and apart from his black hair and shining silver eyes, there was no outward indicator that he was an extremely powerful being, but his mother shone like a purple sun, her beauty would collapse worlds, and an aura of majesty were weaved around her like a cloak, but when she came before Andar and she gave a small bow, dismissing all hint of power on her body, her gestures were undoubtedly the actions of a subordinate before their master, as she whispered,

"Welcome home Andar, The Endless Throne,"

Andar cocked his head to the side in surprise, "My title?"

"Yes, it has been granted by Endirius," Aeynid smiled, "You are now a Titled

Mage with the first Supreme Title in existence. I don't know how you did it, but the entire Magus World is shaking at the news of your arrival."
