The President is Being Shameless Again-Chapter 322: Do You Like My Room This Way?
Xu Moyan had no idea as to what she should say, nor whether he expected a reply at all. Wei Zilin had already leaned in to kiss her.
It started with a soft kiss, gentle and warm but things got increasingly sensual as Wei Zilin became more daring with each kiss. Xu Moyan held on tight to his arms and was pressed against him so intimately. Her waist was soft, and she went limp in his arms. Her enthusiasm toward his kisses only made Wei Zilin crave more as he started kissing her all over, from her lips to the corner of her eyes, to her ears. The only place left for him to go was down, but he stopped himself. He still did not dare take things too far.
“Even though you were gone only a night, I really missed you,” Wei Zilin whispered into her ear.
His voice was magnetic and melodious. His hands gripped firmly onto the back of her waist. Even though Xu Moyan was not short, she felt small and fragile while in Wei Zilin’s embrace.
Xu Moyan could only hold on to him silently. Her face was nestled into his neck and face, like a little animal.
Even though she had initially felt uncomfortable about being so affectionate in public, Xu Moyan gradually relaxed after Wei Zilin’s passionate advances. She was more comfortable than before and felt much closer to him now.
It was only after Wei Zilin let her go and started to drive that Xu Moyan began to feel like she had been dreaming the whole time.
She never imagined that one day she would be so close to her idol.
She was like an ecstatic fan. It felt like she had idolized this person for so many years, and here he was, stepping down from the altar she worshipped him from to be in a relationship with her.
It was a dream come true, like something that only happens in films or a television series, or something that could only happen in the deepest corners of your imagination. But now, it was really happening to her.
When she awoke from her reverie, Xu Moyan suddenly remembered that the cake’s ingredients were still on her legs. She turned to set the ingredients down in the back seat and noticed the slippers Wei Zilin had placed there.
It was two pairs of ‘couple’ slippers.
One of them was a pair of male slippers she had at home. Wei Zilin requested that it be for his personal use and that no one else was to use them.
Wei Zilin noticed her gaze and explained, “The female slippers at home belong to the housekeeper, so I dropped by a convenience along the way. There was a pair of male slippers for sale as well, so I thought it’d be nice to buy a ‘couple’ pair for us.”
Xu Moyan, “…”
That was quick of him to buy ‘couple’ slippers so early in a relationship.
She could not help but glance at Wei Zilin. When this man gets his target, he made sure to be quick so as to ensure it does not escape. She did not even have time to react to his actions.
He looked completely relaxed throughout the process, but she had slowly fallen into the trap he had laid for her. By the time she had realized it, she had unwittingly fallen into the trap.
It was just like today; she had agreed to go to his house just like that. She did not expect it, but he had already prepared the couple slippers.
These two pairs of slippers will be placed in his home as if she had already moved in.
Even though she was not able to react to his actions in time, Xu Moyan did not feel uncomfortable with what he had done. In fact, it made her feel all sweet and fuzzy inside.
She did not need to take initiative as he was already pulling her into his life bit by bit. He had created many opportunities for her to leave her mark on him.
Xu Moyan felt that Wei Zilin was really the best boyfriend and was a man amongst boys.
When they arrived at Wei Yang Garden and stood at the entrance of the building, Xu Moyan started to feel nervous again.
Wei Zilin lived on the top floor and she guessed that he was not currently living with his family.
Wei Zilin took the initiative to help her with the slippers in the grocery bag, as well as the bag of cake ingredients Xu Moyan had brought along.
He made sure not to let Xu Moyan lift anything and held her hand as they walked into the elevator.
Even when they were in the elevator, Wei Zilin did not let go.
Xu Moyan was relieved that the weather was cold as they could avoid any awkwardness that came from sweaty palms.
It was only when they got out of the elevator that Wei Zilin momentarily released her hand to place his finger on the biometric reader at the front door.
When they got into the house, it was especially quiet. There was no sound at all.
Wei Zilin’s house was so huge that when they stood at the front door, they were unable to hear anything clearly inside. All Xu Moyan could see was some parts of the living room.
Wei Zilinn placed everything down and cut the label off the slippers so he and Xu Moyan could put them on.
Xu Moyan lowered her head to see both of them wearing their ‘couple’ slippers. She felt a little self-conscious, so her toes curled up inside her slippers.
Wei Zilin turned on a machine at the front door and pulled Xu Moyan over.
He explained to Xu Moyan when she looked at him with a confused expression, “You’ve seen that my place requires fingerprint scanning. I’m scanning your fingerprint and recording it into the biometric reader. That way, you can open the door yourself if you come by when I’m not around.”
Under what circumstances would she be here while he was not around?
The first thing that came to Xu Moyan’s mind was them living together. It made her go red in the face.
Wei Zilin did have the intention, although it was not the sole reason. He felt that there might be certain situations where she would need to have access to his home.
The look on Xu Moyan’s face told him what she was thinking. He did not explain, merely giving a kind smile.
It was not wrong of Xu Moyan to think that because he was thinking the exact same thing.
“Which finger would you like to use?” Wei Zilin asked.
Since things have escalated to this point, Xu Moyan did not argue with him and reached out with her right index finger.
Wei Zilin was tickled by her direct response. He thought she would blush for quite a while before agreeing to this.
Even though she really was blushing, he liked it a lot that she was quite direct with her reaction.
Wei Zilin held her hand and logged her fingerprint into the system.
When the settings were done, Wei Zilin got Xu Moyan to try it out.
As expected, the door opened when she placed her index finger on the reader.
Xu Moyan got a little excited. This was complete reassurance that she really was his girlfriend. She was quickly being integrated into his life bit by bit.
She did not need to be like other girls, who exhaust themselves trying to force themselves into their boyfriend’s lives. Before it even crossed her mind, Wei Zilin had already opened the doors of his home to her.
It made her think that he was such a good person, and it would be totally fine for things to move so fast between them.
Wei Zilin brought her into the living room to introduce her to everything in it. Later, he brought her to visit his bedroom, study, and guestroom.
“There’s no one at home?” Xu Moyan asked. At the very least, the housekeeper would be there.
“She normally rests during the weekend. If I’m home during the weekends, I like spending time alone. It’s more relaxing,” Wei Zilin said as he brought her to his bedroom.
“When I’m chatting to you at night, I’m usually in the bedroom,” for some reason, Wei Zilin suddenly spouted this sentence.
Xu Moyan tried her best not to let her gaze fall onto the bed.
His room was different than what she had imagined it to be. She had thought that since he was a man, he would not put too much thought in the decoration; that it would have looked plain and probably a little mundane.
On the contrary, it was nothing like that.
Though not every inch of the bedroom was decorated like a girl’s room, there were many awards on display. Some toy robots could be seen as well. He may look like a cold and distant person, but his room did reveal a child-like side to him.
The toy robots looked out of date and the designs were dated. She guessed that they were toys he loved when he was still in school and kept with him to this day.
When they were displayed in his room, it gave his room some warmth and life. It made him look much livelier as well.
Xu Moyan walked towards the bookcase to look at his awards and toys. She said with a smile on her face, “I never expected your room to look like this.”
The way he had decorated it gave him a child-like quality and not just a mature, serious man.
Xu Moyan saw a different side of him after getting to know what he was like privately. It gave her a much livelier impression of him and made him more human.
The Wei Zilin now was a man who had come down to her from that altar high up there.
Wei Zilin walked toward her back and hugged her from behind. He lowered his head and nestled his face on hers.
She could hear his gentle, delicate voice ringing clearly by her ear. “What did you think it’d be like?”
Xu Moyan could not speak. She wanted to say something, but he was distracting her with his actions.
He did not use to be this way. Now that they were officially together, it was like he had no restrictions when it came to her. He had completely let go of all reservations.
When he saw her, he could not help coming close and touching her.
Of course, Xu Moyan enjoyed it quite a bit, but it caught her in a daze when it happened.
Xu Moyan blushed profusely as her face went numb from all his movements. There were buzzes of electricity flowing through her. “It’s like… I thought your room would be very simple. That it would be monochromatic and dull. There would be no extra displays nor any sign of liveliness.”
She could hear his magnetic laughter by her ear. “It’s different from what you imagined. Do you like my room this way?”
Xu Moyan lowered her head as her ears went red. She replied quietly, “I like it, I like it better this way actually. This side of you makes you feel more real to me. There’s a child-like quality to you and you have your own hobbies. Your childhood is quite similar to most children. Otherwise, I’d still think that I was dreaming. I’d feel distant from you. You were like a perfect painting of a person and it made me feel so anxious all the time.”
