Early the next morning, Mu Yiliang and Xiaoze set off for City S.

They had just returned for a short two days before leaving again. Housekeeper Li almost burst into tears, but Xiaoze comforted him by saying they’d be back in a few days, and only then did he hold back.

Aunt Xiaoqi and Jason’s home was in a mid-to-high-end neighborhood in City S, and the environment was quite nice. After getting off the plane, Yan Sijue personally drove them there.

"Go on up." Yan Sijue said with a smile, looking at her.

Mu Yiliang suddenly felt very reluctant. It felt as though once they parted, they wouldn’t see each other for a long time.

She pursed her lips, "Aren’t you coming up?"

"No, the two of them are not keen on seeing me. I’ll spare them the nuisance." Yan Sijue chuckled, lowered his head, and kissed her cheek, "Call me if anything comes up."

"Okay." Mu Yiliang nodded, "You’ll come to pick me up in a few days, right?"

Meeting her clear black and white eyes, Yan Sijue’s heart twinged slightly.

"Yes." He responded quietly, his gaze deep and enigmatic.

Then, he turned his gaze to Xiaoze, "Take good care of your mommy."

Xiaoze nodded vigorously, and between the two of them, there seemed to be a tacit understanding that made Mu Yiliang inexplicably want to laugh, "It should probably be me taking care of him."

"Go on now." Yan Sijue’s voice suddenly became a little hoarse.

Seeing that Mu Yiliang still didn’t move, Xiaoze, feeling helpless, took her hand and pulled her towards the staircase.

Mu Yiliang couldn’t help but look back repeatedly until they stepped into the elevator, and the elevator doors closed, obscuring his silhouette, and only then did her gaze retract.

"Mommy..." Xiaoze held back from teasing her, "We can see him again in a few days!"

He couldn’t believe that Mommy, acting like this, could intend to kill Daddy?

She simply couldn’t do it! So, she could only torment herself.

Thinking of this, Xiaoze sighed internally.

"I know..." Mu Yiliang responded softly, "But I wonder if he’ll be bored all alone?"

"He won’t." Xiaoze said with certainty.

Mu Yiliang was a bit speechless.

Not long after, the elevator stopped, and as soon as they stepped out, they saw Aunt Xiaoqi standing at the door, smiling warmly at them.

"Finally! Why so slow? Come in quickly!"

"Aunt Xiaoqi..."

Seeing the glow on the face of the already motherly Aunt Xiaoqi, Mu Yiliang was a bit moved.

"Aunt Xiaoqi, you’ve become so beautiful!" Xiaoze exaggeratedly exclaimed.

"That’s obvious!" Happiness graced her eyes and brows.

Mu Yiliang went over and gave her a hug, saying emotionally, "Xiaoqi, you’ve put on weight."

"You weren’t much better after giving birth to Xiaoze!" Aunt Xiaoqi hugged her tightly in return, rolling her eyes for emphasis.

After the two embraced, Xiaoze also rushed over to hug her, and only after a while did the three of them go inside.

Mu Yiliang and Xiaoze headed straight towards the cradle with clear intent, and upon seeing the plump, sleeping baby inside, Mu Yiliang felt her heart melt!

"Oh my, my daughter is so cute! Such a little beauty!" Mu Yiliang carefully picked up the little baby, overwhelmed with love.

"Is she? I don’t see it!" Xiaoze judgmentally appraised, pinching the baby’s little hand, "But her hands are really soft." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"Xiaoze, be gentle!" Mu Yiliang worriedly cautioned, afraid he wouldn’t know his own strength.

"Oh please, like I could crush her hand!" Xiaoze retorted, unable to resist playing with the baby’s tiny feet again.
