However, the intelligent creature and its powerful senses were also able to discern that this boost was only temporary.

"Rghh...!" Sage Damian gritted his teeth as his offensive onslaught had completely halted, forced to use all his destruction just to destroy the incoming attacks of the eldritch chimera.

The Reverend of Reckoning fared no better as the maelstrom of chaos that the eldritch chimera sent to him grew more and more inscrutable, requiring the Reverend of Reckoning use the full power of his Order just to survive and not get wiped out.

"I shall exorcise your feral existence with the power of Light."

Bodhisattva Maitreyi turned into an astronomically intense beam of light as the very world around her turned into a titanically destructive attack that converged upon her. "Omnilumina."

The sheer intensity of the light and the raw power and speed that she displayed was incredibly powerful, so much so that not even the eldritch chimera was able to easily negate and counter her.

And yet, she had underestimated the beast.

A giant, grotesque opening that served as the conjoined mouth of the mountain-like creature opened up, consuming the light of Bodhisattva Maitreyi as it warped the very fabric of space and time.

Pure horror erupted among the Martial Sages of the battle as they understood what it was trying to do to her. It was trying to consume her to assimilate her into its body as it had for countless other creatures in the Beast Domain.

Once it assimilated her, it would gain control over her mind and her soul, and be able to leverage her power. She would forever be cast into its body and live a nightmarish hellish horror for the rest of her life, reduced to no more than a source of power for the eldritch chimera.

It was an outcome of unspeakable terror.

In that moment, all three Transcendent Candidates faced tremendous oppression as the eldritch chimera directed all its power towards the three of them, ignoring all the other Martial Sages who simply couldn't sustain the battle without these pillars of power. Once it got rid of them, the battle was it over.

The Martial Sages desperately unleashed all the power that they were all to muster as a variety of focused attacks of all kinds of destruction ravaged the beast. And yet, the healing fruit could not help them offensively, leaving them unable to exceed their nominal limits.

"Rgghh...!" the Devil gritted his teeth as he could barely handle all the impacts of heaven and earth and space and time that the eldritch chimera threw at him. His durability and destruction, as immense as they were, were dedicated exclusively towards dealing with

the astronomical attacks that the eldritch chimera threw towards him.

Not even his destruction was enough to protect him.

A myriad of deep wounds emerged across his entire body as he gritted his teeth, glaring at the eldritch chimera with a murderous expression.

With each passing moment, the infliction of damage continued to grow more and more intense, taxing the healing fruit he had consumed.

"Arggh!" the Reverend of Reckoning was swallowed in a world of chaos with quasi-Transcendent power converging upon him as the eldritch chimera directed a substantial and immense portion of its power to crush the Transcendent Candidate as

hard as possible.

He gritted his teeth as he leverage every ounce of his mastery of Order just to stay alive as trillions of attacks converged him, posing a defensive problem that was astronomically more difficult than any other he had ever faced in his entire life.

Bodhisattva Maitreyi's light grew increasingly dim even as the Healing Fruit was able to restore it despite her being in light form.

However, it could not protect her from being consumed and assimilated into the eldritch chimera's body. If anything, based on their understanding of the fruit, the creature would also inherit the power of healing from her, making it absolutely

impossible to kill it.
