It took some time for them to confirm everything at the military base. They were afterall the leaders. For them to leave like this might cause a riot. They had to explain to their subordinates what was happening.
When they were ready, it wasn’t just the general and the colonel who were making their way out. There were almost 30 people who decided they would follow. The seven had already talked about it and expected them to bring a few people, but not this many.
A chuckle left her lips before she could stop it. Did they think they were going to war?
The 30 people came out dressed in bulletproof vests. and helmets. They were sweating like there was no tomorrow. The weapons they had were equally sad. The place was so hot that they could explode at any moment, but they forced themselves to carry them.
Better safe than sorry, Ember thought. They might be sorry more than anything else.
"Before we go," Ember stretched her hand out. "Each of you needs to sign this."
Before each person, there appeared a scroll.
"This is to make sure you can enter the base. Read it, then sign it. Don’t say we didn’t give you the chance to read it."
The contract they were about to sign is not the fellowship contract. It is a temporary contract that lasts 24 hours. It ensures they cannot harm the citizens or themselves during their stay at the Eyrie.
From the look in the colonel’s eye earlier. Ember had a feeling he would try to mutiny. He couldn’t take the base, but this way it dampens whatever strange ideas he might have.
It took more than fifteen minutes to get the thirty people to sign. There were a few who wanted to push back. Aiden made it clear that they either sign or don’t do. He had no time for whatever they were planning. He wasn’t interested in the slightest.
When they finally finished signing the contract, everyone left. They decided it would be best to take a vehicle. As for where they were going...to the office. They would never let them walk the regular route.
It didn’t take long to walk. It took even less time to drive.
"Is this where we’re stopping?" asked Colonel Grant.
Aiden nodded and jumped off the jeep. "We told you not to bother with all the pomp. Your tyres are already melting."
Everyone got out of the jeep quickly.
Ember looked at them. "Gentlemen. You need to take a quick nap."
Before any of them could understand, their vision went black.
"You need to teach me how to do that," Ivan remarked.
Emnber had just stored everyone in the space. Whent he base was upgraded, so did the space. She could not house living people, but they would have no awareness. Their last moment was when they heard Ember telling them to take a nap.
After she takes them out of the space, they’ll see themselves in a new place and wonder.
"Can’t be taught," Ember laughed. "You just have to be naturally talented."
"Let’s go," Aiden said. With that, they walked into the office and took the teleportation circle back to the base. Before they left, Ember took their vehicles for good measure. She would give it back later.
No more than five minutes passed before they entered the Eyrie. The first person who saw them was Cassia. She was eyeing Ivan like a piece of meat. She hadn’t seen him leave the base. So seeing him come back like this was tempting her.
Ivan, being the man of dick steel, was already hard as soon as she approached. If not for Aiden telling him to keep his composure, he and Cassia would have run off together into the sunset.
Ember released the soldiers from their suspended animation.
"We’re here," Ember said before any of them had the chance to question the nap statement.
They were startled by Ember’s declaration, but they all realized how cool they felt. Being out in the sun for more than a few seconds, they would feel the blistering heat. But now, all they felt was a spring breeze.
More people in the base were noticing the new additions. Those who still had work to do didn’t stop. But those who had leisure time were curious. One such person was Chloe. She had just finished the daily clean-up when she saw the men in uniform.
She couldn’t stop her feet as they walked towards them. Well...to one particular soldier that she had her eyes on. Why did she have her eyes on him? Because she saw the bulge in her pants.
Her time in the Eyrie has been a never-ending place of play. She has shed her shy self and now embraces the part of herself who enjoys sex to the fullest.
"...walk around and see if there is anything that piques your interest. Remember, no weapons in the common areas."
This was what Chloe heard Ember saying when she walked up to the soldiers.
She spotted Maya not far away and walked over.
"What’s up with the soldiers?"
"Visiting, apparently. They want to recruit them into the base."
"Oh," Chloe’s eyes never left her target.
"If you look any longer, you might burn a hole in his pants."
"As long as it doesn’t hurt the goods, I don’t mind burning the entire pants off."
Maya laughed. Looking at the girl who was so shy before. She has bloomed into a vivacious woman.
"Where’s Mario?"
"I think he’s fucking one of the newbies."
"The man loves fresh meat."
Maya glared at Chloe.
"I never said he didn’t like your meat. Do you think I didn’t notice you wearing a plug?"
"Stop talking about me, your fresh meat is getting away." With that, Maya walked away, back to her room.
Chloe greeted Ember and the others before following the soldier she had spotted. She was already thinking about how to get him alone.
