The Lust Lord Librarian-Chapter 60: Hamlet
"He’s back! Mister Alexandrus is back!"
As Adal stepped into the Velvet Curtain Theatre, he was immediately swarmed by the members of the crew.
It was Jack first, the young man who seemed to admire him ever since finding out about his relationship with Willow.
The man ran over, looked Adal up and down.
His eyes went wide.
"Whoa... Your hair..."
For the next minute, Adal had to deal with the reactions to his changed appearance.
He stood there, scratching his head, whilst looking around for his target.
Jack must have noticed this, as the black-haired boy pointed backstage.
"If you’re looking for Willow, she’s back there having a meeting. Apparently, it’s an important one, so you might want to wait."
An important meeting? 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Adal nodded his thanks, ignored the boy’s advice, and headed backstage.
First, he poked his head through the curtain. He expected to see a large group of people in suits sitting around the table, perhaps talking about the future of the theatre.
Instead, he saw the red-haired willow, dressed in a tight black dress that stretched to her ankles, and accentuated all of her curves.
She had a sad look on her face and struggled to meet the eye of the man sitting opposite her.
The man smoked a cigar and leaned back in his chair with his feet up on the table disrespectfully. His body was bulky and muscular, bulging against his suit.
Adal listened in on their conversation. Whatever it was about, it seemed to be stressing Willow out severely.
"I’ve already told you how it’s gonna work around here, woman, how many times are you gonna make me repeat myself?"
His voice was rough. He blew out a cloud of smoke, and coughed.
"Somebody needs to pay the monthly rent for this theatre, and as far as I know, the old man isn’t here to do it anymore. Naturally, the duty falls on you. Either find a way to pay up, or I want you the fuck out of here in a week. Payment is already overdue."
He tapped the ash of his cigarette into the table and rose to his feet. Willow sobbed quietly into her sleeve, as she felt her life falling apart.
The man looked down at her and laughed at her pitiful state.
"Eh, you’ve got a decent set of tits don’t you? If you ever change your mind, my other offer is still up. Pleasuring five men at once would be an easy task for a woman as sexy as you."
Willow didn’t respond, so the man marched out from backstage, continuing to blow his smoke in the air.
Adal did not allow the man to see him.
As he walked past, he used his system tracker to figure out as much information about the man as he could.

One level higher than myself, and with skills focused on hand-to-hand combat... and money.
Typical of a Fairwhite City noble.
After studying the man, Adal entered the room where Willow was left crying by the table.
As she heard the footsteps, she looked up, saw who it was, and swiftly wiped her eyes.
"A-Adal, I was not expecting you today..."
For some reason, she tried her best to cover up her tears. She even tried to smile and sit up tall to make herself seem stronger.
It reminded Adal of what a mother does for her son.
Adal stood there calmly, hands placed inside his trouser pockets. The look on his face told Willow that her act was not working.
"You heard our conversation, didn’t you?"
Adal made his way over to the chair opposite her and sat. "Some of it. Financial problems?"
Willow let out a sigh of embarrassment as she realised her weak state was witnessed by Adal. She wondered whether the librarian had heard the sick offer the man had added at the end, and hoped that he did not. After all, she knew that there was no chance in her heart that she would ever accept it.
"It is more than mere financial issues. That man Richard and his Real Estate company are extorting money from us. Brondel must have known this and left the city once he saw the success that arrived from our play and claimed his share.. Curse him! Now I am being left to handle this on my own."
The sobs came again, quietly. She was unable to hide them this time.
As she cried, Adal scooted his chair over to hers and wrapped his arm around her.
She leaned up against him, pressing her giant breasts against his arm and resting her cheek on his shoulder.
It took a lot of effort not to fondle her.
"No, not alone." Adal corrected her. "I will handle it, don’t worry."
Willow pulled away from Adal and looked at him with wide eyes. "N-no... Your money is yours, Adal. You do not have to help, I mean it!"
Adal roughed up the woman’s hair and laughed.
"Just be quiet and let me handle it. This is nothing to me."
Besides, who said anything about spending money? There are other ways to deal with these problems, ma’am.
Willow bit her lip in deep thought. She did not want to drag Adal into her issues, but when the man insisted, what could she do?
Before she could say anything, Adal explained the reason why he had visited.
"I have a new play that I would like us to write. Two weeks is our deadline. The city has been waiting for the Alexandrus - Collins duo to put pen to paper once again, and I believe it is time."
Willow’s eyes finally lit up. The tears were still glistening, but the smile on her face showed her true feelings.
Finally, she would get to be around Adal again! At that moment, she had completely forgotten about her debt, and no longer cared for it.
"I cannot wait... What will it be called?!"
Adal took a pen out of his breast pocket and found a piece of paper on the table.
He then wrote down the name of the play.
Hamlet.
