Hi, everybody. We have started a new villainess novel. Unlike other novels, our MC is going to be a ruthless person who kills whoever threatens her life. Premise is quite interesting and it is written by a well known author, Haru no Hi. It is called The Villainess That Was Once A VRMMO player. You can read it HERE. Thanks for your time and hope that you will give it a try.

Xu Xinduo’s hair was as long as her waist. Because her school did not allow students to perm and dye their hair, she had always retained her black and straight locks.

Her hair was relatively thick and slightly coarse. Having naturally straight hair, draping it gave her a domineering aura.

Now that it was going to be cut short, brother Zhang felt a little unwilling. On the other hand, she was unbothered and remained indifferent. She seldom went to the hairdresser’s places to style her hair anyways.

Xu Xinduo sat on the chair and watched her hair cut by a pair of scissors. The stylist then tied it together with rubber bands.

After that came the refinement process.

The stylist arranged for Xu Xinduo to have neatly trimmed short hair at her neck’s length as a very large red bow hairpin was pinned on top of her head. If one didn’t look closely, it could have been mistaken for a beret with the slightly fuzzy texture to the bow.

After the overall makeup and styling, Xu Xinduo didn’t put on her high heels immediately as she waited beside them. Looking in the mirror, she felt strange.

Her face was flushed red as if she put on sunburn-styled makeup, but it was upgraded a bit.

She originally had a boujee appearance, but after this makeup was put on, she felt that she was out of the category compared to ordinary humans. She kind of looked like a ruthless robot or perhaps even a monster. At any rate, it was not something a human would wear.

Xu Xinduo whispered to brother Zhang, “Does this look a bit strange on me?”

Wouldn’t I give someone the scare of their lives if I walk in the streets with this look?

“Well, it’s correct for it to not be normal. Your image is very advanced.”

Xu Xinduo waited obediently and just proceeded with the shoot together.

At this time, the other models have also arrived. One of them took the initiative to say hello after seeing Xu Xinduo and asked, “You are…?”

Obviously he didn’t know Xu Xinduo.

Xu Xinduo introduced herself politely, “My name is Xu Xinduo. I’m from Star Entertainment.”

The model seemed surprised before she smiled and said, “My name is Evalyn, from Shang Kong. I didn’t know that Star Entertainment actually had a modelling department before.”

“Well, the modelling department is a sub-studio under Star Entertainment.”

“Oh, so that’s how it is,” Evalyn replied in a long tone before she left.

When Evalyn stepped aside to do the styling, she chatted with the stylist, “Why is there a new model suddenly? I remember there were only four people before.”

“The initial plan was for five people, but they haven’t found a suitable one, so they decided to use four people. She was the one identified only last night.”

“What a coincidence… Is she a newcomer?”

“Well, I heard that she was on a popular Weibo.”

Evalyn took out her phone to check before rolling her eyes. What do you mean ‘being popular on Weibo’? She’s not even good enough to be an internet celebrity, how shameful!

She was very excited at first and felt that she was already a big step ahead of many people in the industry and was able to improve her grade with the opportunity to be on the cover. In the end, a newcomer was pushed in halfway through. Seeing that Xu Xinduo’s modelling career only started recently and there weren’t much decent photos of her, she felt that her cover photoshoot would be downgraded by the newbie.

She was so annoyed that she took out her mobile phone with the intent to rant, secretly taking a photo of Xu Xinduo. In this photo, Xu Xinduo was wearing Brother Zhang’s coat. Because of fear of the cold, she buried her frame into her clothes, looking lacklustre.
