The plan was simple.

When Klaus appears, Danny challenges him, and they know Klaus will accept. Then, after the outcome is determined, Lily will start the group battle by landing a surprise attack.

This, too, was within calculation, considering they knew she wouldn't be able to land that attack. But Lucy, who came up with the plan, put that into consideration as well.

He knew Klaus wouldn't hurt Lily, but he also knew he would not go easy on her. That was where Hanna came into play.

She would attack with Lucy's help, which had a 70% chance of making him fall for that coordinated attack. All this was well calculated by Lucy, who is the brains of the team.

But they never took into account Klaus swapping places with Hanna. This destroyed the plan.

However, there was another plan where Lulu would use her soul-attacking abilities to cause soul disturbance, allowing Nia to slip behind Klaus and attack.

This also had a 60% chance of working.

But they never expected Klaus to get hurt, considering Lucy calculated an 80% chance he would defend but would get scratched, which would, in the end, be what they were after.

The moment he gets scratched, the poison on the dagger will take effect. Nia had control over that poison, so they were counting on it.

But that didn't happen. Not that it would have worked, considering Klaus's immunity to poison has become much stronger after his breakthrough.

So the plan didn't work. Instead, it turns out horrible in the end.

Klaus was bleeding from his mouth as Nia's dagger entered through his back and appeared on his chest.

"Klaus," Nia pulled her dagger, but according to the estimation, she had stabbed him through the heart.

Klaus weakly fell into her arms and tried to touch her face, but he was too weak to even raise his hand.

"Klaus..." Nia called out again, but Klaus fell in her arms and died.

Tears fell from her eyes as she held him in her shaky arms. The other ladies moved and appeared beside Nia and Klaus's lifeless body.

Even his male friends did the same. The only person who hadn't moved was Kathy, who stood there with her hands behind her back.

"Aren't you going to join them?" Suddenly, Klaus spoke, appearing beside her.

"Why should I? That wasn't your body to begin with. You swapped it just before Danny attacked," Kathy said, causing Klaus to raise an eyebrow.

"How did you figure it out? I could swear not even the Overlords could know that," Klaus asked.

"That body doesn't have your blood. I used your blood to track you," Kathy said, puffing her chest as if she had done something extraordinary.

She tasted his blood before, and as a Beast, she could smell his blood, especially since Klaus wasn't making any effort to hide it.

"KLAUS, you bastard!" Hanna shouted as an arrow formed in her bow and unleashed itself at Klaus, who was now standing beside Kathy.

This sudden outburst caused the ladies and men to turn toward where her arrow travelled. There, they saw Klaus smiling at them.

"You-you're alive," Nia said, but her answer came when the body in her arms vanished into thin air, along with the blood that coated her dagger and palm.

"That was fake," she muttered as she realized what had happened.

"You guys are still too green. Haven't you ever heard the saying, 'Appearances can be deceiving'? If I wanted to kill you guys, you would have been dead long ago," Klaus said, but he was met with cold gazes that wanted to kill him for real this time.

"Ice Princess Transformation!" Anna shouted, stabbing her staff into the ground and forcing ice to erupt from her body as the avatar of the Ice Queen appeared towering behind her.

"Queen of Vines," her sister also activated her attack, manifesting an elegant green beauty to appear behind her as well.

"You're dead meat, Klaus," Kilian said, raising his sword into the air. "Blade of Impurity: Impure Manifestation!" A massive sword appeared in the air, bathed in dark flames like a doomsday weapon.

"Starry Formation," Lulu clapped her hands together, and hundreds of swords flew into the air from a sword box now sitting beside her.

The swords formed into a star formation in the air, causing Klaus to feel as though those swords had transformed into something truly dangerous.

"Ladies, why the sudden hostility?" Klaus asked, smiling at the group who were ready to rain down attacks on him.

"Don't play with our emotions like that," Anna said before pointing her staff forward.

A beam of ice shot at Klaus, who moved away from its path, but to his shock, his body was brought back to the same trajectory.

He looked down and saw a small spell circle beneath his feet. He looked up at Anna, who held a smirk on her lips.

The beam landed on his body, but that was all. He wasn't frozen like how Klaus had turned Hanna into an ice statue for a second there.

"That was cute, Anna, but you are forgetting I also have the ice element. You cannot hurt me," Klaus said.

"I know, but I got you distracted for a minute there for this to happen." Anna smiled as hundreds of swords moved and circled around Klaus in the air.

"Star Formation: Endless Barrage," Lulu gestured forward, and like a dam of swords had been unleashed, hundreds of swords started shooting at Klaus, forcing him to move and start evading.

'Interesting. So, the power of the formation is to prevent me from leaving the 3-meter radius. Very interesting.'

He kept moving, evading and parrying some of the swords using his bare hands coated in ice.

Klaus jumped up and then held his arm up. "Your formation is good, my love, but you are still too green."

Nobody knew where it came from or why Klaus had something like that, but a large brown cauldron appeared in his palm, causing anyone who saw the ridiculous-looking cauldron to raise an eyebrow.

"Devour," Klaus said, and the cauldron hummed. The swords in the formation moved and entered the cauldron.

"What?" Lulu was dumbfounded, staring at Klaus as he flicked his hand. The swords he had devoured shot out, destroying the manifestation standing behind Anna.

This caused her to turn pale. She just doesn't understand how Klaus managed to destroy the manifestation of her skill.

However, before he could destroy the one behind Lucy, a dark sword appeared in Klaus's blind spot.

"Circles, devour my impurity!" Kilian shouted as dark flames burst from the dark sword and encased Klaus in a domain of fire.

"Everyone, attack!" Lucy declared, and everyone attacked.
