Chapter 63 Sweet Talk

The extended sedan drove into Yonghua Villa District and finally stopped at the gate of Qin Weibai’s detached villa.

The people in the car got off one by one.

While walking into the villa, Qin Weibai looked back at Li Baitian and Ning Qiancheng and then shot a meaningful glance at Wang Yuetong. She said softly, “The guest rooms on the second floor are ready. You can go to bed early and choose any room you like.”

After that, she looked at Zhuang Huayang and continued, “If you don’t mind, headmaster, how about staying in my humble house for one night?”

“I’d love to.”

Zhuang Huayang nodded with a smile on his face. He looked at Li Tianlan with great care. This boy was the treasure of the Academics now, so he really could not set his mind at ease leaving him alone here.

“Then I’ll go to rest with Tianlan.”

Qin Weibai took a look at Wang Yuetong, intentionally or otherwise. She reached out and hugged Li Tianlan’s arm with a bright smile that could melt the ice on her face.

Wang Yuetong bit her lip and said nothing.

Li Baitian whistled and laughed meaningfully in a weird way.

“What the f*ck are you laughing!”

Li Tianlan berated Li Baitian. He felt uncomfortable being stared by Wang Yuetong, so he went upstairs with Qin Weibai directly.

“Your friends are really interesting.”

Qin Weibai walked up the stairs with Li Tianlan, arm in arm. She laughed gently and said, “Ning Qiancheng and Weakness Li at least can make it to the peak of the Thunder-shocking Realm. They’ll be your real right-hand men.”

“Who knows for sure what will happen in the future?”

Li Tianlan smiled and suddenly asked, “Why did you go to Mount Tong tonight?”

“I went there on the spur of the moment after I had received the news and happened to bump into Zhuang Huayang along the way, that’s why we went up the mountain together.”

Li Tianlan didn’t ask her how she got the information, instead, he reached out and rubbed her head.

Qin Weibai seemed to be a little discontented. She touched Li Tianlan’s hand with her head and said, “What? Do you take me for a child? I’m older than you, do you know that you should call me sister?”

Since they had had sex together, Li Tianlan no longer felt shy in front of Qin Weibai. He kissed Qin Weibai on the face hard and said with a gentle laugh, “Why didn’t you let me call you sister when you called me husband last night?”

“You dirty man! Shut up.”

Qin Weibai’s ruddy cheeks and charm enchanted Li Tianlan. She pushed Li Tianlan into a nearby chair, while Li Tianlan put his arms around her and held her tightly in his embrace.

“Stop fooling around.”

Qin Weibai giggled and stood up. With a red face, she asked in a soft voice, “Are you hungry? I’ve made you a midnight snack. How about we eat some together?”

Li Tianlan made a noise in agreement. A small but very delicate table was set before him. He guessed that probably was where Qin Weibai alone ate a midnight snack because obviously, one of the chairs was moved here recently. Li Tianlan patted the table and asked, “How about Baitian and my other companions?”

“There’s food downstairs. They can’t get hungry.”

After saying that, Qin Weibai directly went downstairs. She came up with a tray in her hand a moment later.

The items on the tray were also extremely simple; two bowls of porridge and a few dishes of pickles. They looked fresh and delicious.

Qin Weibai sat down opposite Li Tianlan and said with a smile on her face, “Eat a light meal at night, otherwise, it’s bad for our stomachs.”

Li Tianlan nodded his head and took a sip of the porridge with both of his hands holding the bowl. He felt that it was particularly tasty.

“Not bad.”

Li Tianlan smiled and asked softly, “What are in it?”

“Mushrooms, lean meat, and green vegetables. I cooked it for hours. Eat more if you like. There’s more downstairs.”

Qin Weibai answered as she watched Li Tianlan’s face.

Li Tianlan nodded. Looking at the porridge in front of him, he was lost in thought.

“I really didn’t like porridge before.”

He continued in a self-deprecating way after remaining silent for a good five minutes, “Few people who live in places like ours like porridge. There’s no electricity in our campsite, and cooking is always done by fire. There’s a lot of grain, but most of the grain heaps together all the year round. It’s hot there, so the rice sometimes goes moldy and turns yellow or even black. “There’s a river near the campsite. The water is drinkable but looks a little muddy. With that kind of water and rice, the porridge doesn’t taste good at all. But I can get hungry without that stuff, so I have to put up with that.

“I’m not afraid of your laughing at me. When I was a kid, about four or five years old, I cried every time I had a meal. If I didn’t eat, I would get hungry. And with the sensation of hunger, I would cry. But if I ate the awful food, I would still cry. I started practicing Martial Art when I was five years old. By the age of eight, the rice at the campsite was particularly moldy and even turned black. The porridge was black and smelly and tasted even worse than medicine. I trained hard back then and had to eat five to six times a day, basically the black porridge. I swallowed the porridge and vomited, and this procedure went on for about a month without exception. From then on, porridge cast a shadow over me, and every time I eat porridge, I feel uncomfortable.

“Later, I couldn’t stand it any more and went hunting. When there were many people in the campsite, there were many animals, and when the campsite was empty, there were no animals around. Even a snake could be regarded as a feast and hunting was often fruitless. I’ve nibbled on bark and roots when I was extremely hungry because I really didn’t want to eat those moldy things. Then I thought, if one day I really could leave that place, I absolutely would not eat porridge and steamed bun, instead, I’ll eat meat at every meal and nothing else.

“When I came to Huating, I had the first meal with you and Senior Yu. That meal was tasty and enjoyable, and it was even the tastiest meal I’ve ever had. Later, I ate the porridge you made. Good gracious, it was really delicious. I liked it the first time I ate it. Even now, every time I have a meal, I feel especially surprised. So I even have not adapted to the meal here, let alone Zhongzhou State. It’s like a dream every time I look at the food.”

Li Tianlan’s voice deepened gradually and finally, he looked at the porridge in front of him and murmured, “I wonder how many years my grandpa and those veterans haven’t tasted such porridge.”

Qin Weibai reached out and grabbed Li Tianlan’s hand. She looked gentler and said in a low voice, “Do you miss them?”

“Yes, even in my dreams. I wish I could pick them to Huating now and let them see the present prosperity. By the way, I’ll let grandpa see his granddaughter-in-law.”

Li Tianlan smiled gently.

Qin Weibai blinked. She deliberately distracted Li Tianlan and said smilingly, “Granddaughter-in-law? Your grandpa’s ideal granddaughter-in-law is not me. In any case, I’m unable to satisfy him.”

Li Tianlan’s mind went blank. Originally, he was in low spirits, but now he was totally at sea. “What do you mean?”

Qin Weibai intentionally guided Li Tianlan’s mood. She sat opposite him and said smilingly, “Do you know why I don’t let you go back to the Sky Academy with Zhuang Huayang? That will offer someone a chance. You’ve been doing so well since the school started. Someone has been waiting for so many years that she might not be able to sit still.”

Li Tianlan was still confused.

“Idiot.”

Qin Weibai shot a glare at Li Tianlan and said delicately, “Didn’t your grandfather tell you that you’re engaged? Forget? She’s the one you’re going to marry.”

While Qin Weibai was speaking, her expression was calm and soft, but there were mixed feelings deep inside her eyes.

Li Tianlan’s heart throbbed and he shook his head instinctively. Then he said in a resolute tone, “I only want you!”

“Marry me?”

Qin Weibai blinked with a sweet and charming smile on her face.

“Marry you!”

Without the slightest hesitation, Li Tianlan said resolutely and decisively, “Neither the engagement nor my grandpa can stop me. No one can do that!”

Qin Weibai looked at Li Tianlan blankly and didn’t speak for a long while.

There seemed to be a slight flush on Li Tianlan’s cheeks. He opened his mouth after hesitating for a while, “Only you are the most perfect one in my heart.”

Something clattered to the floor.

Qin Weibai suddenly reached out and directly swept everything on the table in front of her on the ground. Porridge and pickles lay in a mess on the floor.

She stood up and put her hands on the table. Then she lifted her seductive, slender, straight, and long legs one by one. Under Li Tianlan’s dull gaze, she climbed up the table and climbed toward him.

Li Tianlan swallowed hard.

Qin Weibai’s cheeks were ruddy. She was obviously a little shy about doing such a thing for the first time, but she had no intention of stopping.

She climbed over the table and sat down in Li Tianlan’s embrace, eyes seductive and enchanting.

Qin Weibai was extremely charming, wild, and sexy at this very moment.

Li Tianlan was short of breath and he hugged Qin Weibai’s body tightly. His blood roared and eroded his reason, driving him almost completely crazy.

Qin Weibai’s face flushed with emotion. She kissed Li Tianlan and buried her face in his arms, then she said in a shivering voice, “You always use sweet talk to make me happy. Carry me back to my room. I have a surprise for you tonight.”
