The Invincible Full-Moon System-Chapter 1192: Stuck in Water
On the outskirts of the Scarlet Banes Kingdom's territory.
Inside a hidden cave of the lush forest filled with identical sky-high trees—there seemed to be a couple of powerful figures in the area. Sitting in a savage position, eating raw mutated animal meat was the Storm Prince, Leif.
He was currently looking at the mesmerizing pile of beautiful things near the bonfire.
Beside the flickering bonfire was a pile of mesmerizing artifacts that lay haphazardly stacked—each item, whether a finely crafted artifact or a raw mineral, gleamed, and glittered with an inner light.
Precious gems sparkled with hues that shifted and danced in the fire light.
Ancient relics—imbued with forgotten power, radiated a subtle but potent energy.
Under the collective aura of these valuable things, the aura of the pile was overwhelming.
It pulsed rhythmically, a testament to the immense power they possessed.
Despite their incalculable value—these treasures were stacked roughly, as if their worth was an afterthought. Leif's careless arrangement against these treasures' intrinsic grandeur, was an additional air of wild, untamed touch to the scene.
He dominated the space, there was nobody brave enough to steal with him around.
Crack!
Just then, another figure landed—a Werewolf with raven-black wings.
It was Alaric, and there seemed to be another glowing treasure in his hand.
As opposed to letting Alaric, put this glowing treasure in the pile—Leif gestured to bring the treasure to him. Alaric did not say anything—and handed the treasure—a dipyramid-shaped crystal to Leif.
On Leif's hand, the treasure floated and rotated as if it was showing off its beauty.
But then, the crystal split and bloomed into a beautiful lotus shape.
"Lotus of the Lunar Heart..." Leif uttered—recognizing the treasure, almost instantly. "Luck, is on our side for you to find this extremely rare item. I assume that the changes brought by the Second Breath were going as expected?"
Upon hearing this, Alaric nodded and sat beside the bonfire, "Almost exactly as expected,"
"Do you know why the Lotus of the Lunar Heart is valuable?" Leif asked whisperingly.
Alaric shook his head, he was not fond of learning anything, that couldn't make him stronger, and since he didn't know what the Lotus of the Lunar Heart was for—he assumed that it was not needed for him to know.
"It's said to contain the spare divine energy of the nearest Lunirich God, said to be a treasure that could reach a divine level, taking a step into the realm of Gods," Leif explained, gazing at the treasure in his hand with great interest. "A shame that none was able to use it right,"
However, this made Alaric scoff, "If no one can make it reach that, then it must be a lie"
"Maybe, but even then, this treasure could be used as a second heart," Leif replied.
Remembering the problem he learned earlier, Alaric decided to change the topic, "I heard the True Werewolf, Sven, is becoming unrestrained by the hour. If we took too long to make—the preparations then he might break loose before we are ready"
"As you know, his anger has no limits. His power will rise endlessly," He added.
Even then, Leif doesn't seem to be troubled, "We'll finish before he went berserk, I'm sure..."
Despite not supporting the optimistic view that Leif was adopting, Alaric decided, that it was not worth fighting over. He then moved on to the next subject, "Also, the Honey Full Moon, is near and Selene needs to pacify herself"
"The Honey Full Moon is harmless to us, but seems like Selene as the champion couldn't hold strong to her sanity," Leif uttered, contemplating on what to do with her. But then he came to a conclusion that might help, "Let her pack entertain her"
"Entertain her? How?" Alaric asked in confusion.
As a female champion, there was nothing to soothe her when she went berserk.
It was not as simple as having a Luna by her side to do that similar to normal Werewolves.
For someone like Selene—she was cursed to not have a Luna, as there was no male Luna.
Because of that, Alaric didn't understand what Leif was going at.
"Tell her pack members to do the entertaining," Leif continued—his curving lips, containing a sense of cunningness. "Tell them to challenge another pack, a stretch after a long slumber. It would surely help Selene in keeping her sanity by giving her good news"
Upon hearing this, Alaric squinted his eyes, giving a lethargic stare, "Do you mean...?"
"Yes, demand a challenge to the Silverstar Pack Betas through the power of the Honey Moon—we can also use this to know how strong the Silverstar Pack members really are" Leif nods, his eyes gleaming with ferocity.
But this puts a frown on Alaric's face, "No, there's no guarantee that Werewolf will accept"
"Then tell them to make it so that he couldn't refuse," Leif intervened quickly.
Only then that Alaric nod, knowing what he meant by that.
Growling to the side—an oversized ferocious black wolf came trodding towards the bonfire.
It was one of Alaric's pets, his dear pets.
Putting a finger on the wolf's forehead, it then nodded before dashing away once again.
"Now, all we have to do is set the location," Leif muttered lightly—however, the wide smirk on his face was becoming wider as he said that. "Luckily for us, we already know where they are—setting the location will be easy"
...
Back to the Chrono Hollow.
Concerned about the Emperor, who had gone for more than five minutes straight without any sign of coming back, Gistella decided to venture, into the dangerous area. At the sight of her, going out alone, the assault team couldn't sit still and followed her.
It was the best move for them to stick together in times like this.
Advancing forward carefully, Gistella stopped when she noticed the end of the road.
Beyond her was a cliff that led to a deep blue body of water.
Just the sight of this alone made the entire team suspect that the Emperor had fallen down.
Since the assault team was moving very slowly and carefully, they were able to spot the cliff, but that might not be the case for the Emperor. Considering, that he kept his gaze skywards, wary of the mutated birds, he must've fallen.
Flunra instructed the others to make a perimeter, and also keep a lookout to the sky.
Now they were in the dangerous area, they needed to be extremely careful. frёewebnoѵēl.com
"Do you find him?" Flunra asked, standing next to Gistella.
In response—Gistella squinted her eyes before she pointed ahead where she could see light, flickering in the distance. All energy—other than force energy was tampered with by the fog, it was hard for her to find Rex but she did.
No doubt, the flickering light must be Rex.
He was moving left and right like a streak of lightning, and he seemed to be fighting.
Glancing downwards Flunra could see that there were creatures emerging from the water, all were heading in Rex's direction. He also could see the form these creatures took in—wraiths, that were akin to the souls of the dead.
"What is the Alpha doing...? There's a lot of them, why didn't he get out?" He mused inwardly.
Considering that he was in a disadvantageous position—Flunra was confused as to why Rex wasn't coming out of the water. Not only the wraiths—but the mutated birds, he was talking about might also strike him from above.
Staying in the water is definitely the worst possible choice Rex could make.
But then, Gistella felt her intuition forcing her to look to the right.
Channeling her energy light blue energy—the power of an aegis—she threw a bulb of light to the water's surface to her right to see that spot clearer. It was only then that she gasped at a glimpse of something inside the water.
Flunra also saw what she saw, a creature with a pale white body.
It was quite a massive creature, and like the Time Draugars, it was heading toward Rex too.
Almost instinctively, Flunra and Gistella used their energies to draw Rex's attention.
For a second there—they could see Rex was looking towards them—but he was too late, as the creature swimming in the water, struck him from below. Both Flunra and Gistella, as well as the others, had their eyes opened wide in shock.
"What in the world is that?!"
"It's massive!"

"Oh, no! We must help the Emperor!!"
Meanwhile, a minute before the white creature struck.
Laughing in utter excitement, as the Time Draugars were endless but died with one attack—Rex was farming as many experience points as he could. He forgot about his surroundings, it was purely the sheer excitement controlling him.
Blitz!!
Crash!
Chanting the Sky Rupture spell, he intended to electrocute the water around him.
But he was stunned when the dominion blocked the lightning strike.
Just before he could recover from that stun—two Time Draugars who were at the very least two hundred meters away from him—gliding on the water's surface, suddenly became even faster than before.
It was a ridiculous acceleration, happening in a fraction of a second.
Rex knew this to be one of their abilities, considering their powers are time acceleration.
As the two dashed, a V-shaped column of water exploded skywards behind them.
Both pierced forward like an arrow and struck Rex hard.
Bam!!
Under the ferocious swipe, Rex was hurled to the side, bouncing on the water's surface.
He could feel his face stinging as he endured fresh bloodied claw marks.
On top of that—the claw marks that were small gradually become worse and worse as if they were left untreated, for several days already. Before Rex could recover, he was caught by the arms from the back.
More Time Draugars came out of the water, and he was now being held down.
Kaboom!!
"Ahrgghk!!"
Not stopping at that, three Time Draugars made a dash and body-slammed Rex in a union.
Due to their extreme speed, the momentum they carried was devastating.
Rex then began to be torn to shreds by their claws while the two Time Draugars held him in place, while four other Time Draugars clawed him repeatedly and relentlessly from the front—causing blood to decorate every space of Rex's body.
Not only could they make themselves faster, but they can also slow my regenerative ability!
Opening his eyes slightly with gritted teeth, he was greeted by a shocking sight.
Dozens of Time Draugars were already above him, hissing and screeching as if Rex was their sworn enemy. Rex wanted to break free—but his face, was already grabbed by another Time Draugar before the dozens of others pushed him into the water's depth.
Splash!
Even though he was way stronger, there were dozens of these Time Draugars.
It was Rex's first time to face so many peak ninth-rank realms at once.
But even then, he was not planning to lose to these creatures, as his entire body began to, in a few seconds he was being drowned, cracked with black lighting. Each slither of Rex's black lightning electrocuted the water around him.
Some of the Time Draugars loosened their grip whenever that happened.
As if they knew that Rex would break free at this rate—one Time Draugar slithered past the others and punched Rex right in the throat brutally, causing him to choke, on water. He was surprised by this antic as it seemed these Time Draugars were adept at fighting.
Symbol of Lightning!
In an instant, Rex's spirit core glows brightly as his lightning element is amplified.
Following that, he asked Amanir to create lunar clones of himself.
Just like that—six more of him were created through a gathering of lunar spirit energy before each one of them cracked with lightning. His black lighting was not as strong—with Devo not being conscious, but he would make up for it with numbers.
Try enduring this, damn wraiths! Blitzing Cry!
Blitz!!
Out of nowhere, Rex and his six clones exploded with a lightning shockwave.
It spreads across the water around, paralyzing the Time Draugars despite their resistance.
Sensing that their grips loosened—Rex instantly swatted them away and blasted himself out of the water before taking a huge breath. He was almost out of breath from resisting and the strike to his throat.
But as he was out, his danger sense raised an alarm in his head.
Rex looked down before he was met with something straight out of a thriller movie.
"Huh...?"
