The Investiture: Unlimited Blade Works Nezha-Chapter 375 - 374 Farewell
Nezha holding up the Dao Domain wasn’t without cost, of course. Chao Feng could see that too, so he chose to go all out. "With the Yu King’s Cauldron, I refuse to believe I can’t finish off this Little Kalami."
Both thought they would win, but victory belonged to only one.
Boom!
The long staff and short staff collided brutally. Nezha, bolstered by the other’s added strength, should have had the upper hand, yet the Magical Treasure in his hands was smashed to pieces by the opponent again.
Nezha had a thorough knowledge of famed Treasures from the Primordial times, but this Little Fire Stick in front of him—that he really couldn’t identify even after all this fighting.
Once more, he condensed an iron staff in his hands and charged forward.
"Kiddo, out of steam? This grandpa here will personally send you to meet Grandma!"
Chao Feng wielded a small red rod in one hand and a dragon claw in the other, his body surrounded by a shimmering blue light, pushing back against the surrounding pressure.
"You little punk, with a mouth that toxic, how did your parents raise you?"
Nezha swung his staff in sweeping arcs, creating afterimages, while retorting wittily, "This grandpa cultivates the Yin Yang Dao!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
...
Nezha couldn’t quite tell how long they had been battling, but even after using every trick in his arsenal, his "power bank" was starting to struggle to keep up with the energy drain.
Luckily, Chao Feng wasn’t faring much better. He was half-kneeling on the ground, panting heavily, with the two pairs of wind wings behind him now completely useless. He truly couldn’t understand how a mere Taiyi Golden Immortal could possibly push him to this extent.
Nezha’s face carried a sneer. In my world, you would’ve been dead 800 times over already.
"You little bastard, you—"
Nezha wasn’t one to let insults go unanswered.
"Your sixth brother crawled out from under a turtle egg, you’re the bastard! Your whole family’s a bunch of bastards!"
Fu Xi was truly enraged now, but he still kept enough reason to recognize one thing: if he didn’t break through the confines of this Great Sui Domain, he would truly die here.
"You little punk, now let me show you my real skill!"
With that, a dragon’s roar filled the air. Chao Feng suddenly transformed into a thousand-zhang-long giant dragon, black light glimmering from his mouth as he unleashed a beam of black death energy straight at Nezha.
Nezha made a quick gesture, instantly switching positions. The faint black beam hit nothing but empty space, boring straight through the Dao Domain and revealing the azure sea beyond.
Chao Feng’s face lit up with joy. Ignoring Nezha entirely, he focused on firing continuous black death beams into the tear, paying no heed to Nezha’s attacks.
As the Dao Domain continued to collapse, Nezha knew he couldn’t delay any longer. Hand seals formed rapidly in his hands, shrinking the entire Dao Domain until it was the size of a water bowl before him. Nezha severed his connection with the Dao Domain and, without any flourish, delivered a punch.
His silver-white, glowing fist smashed down on the leaking water bowl. With his terrifying strength, enhanced and amplified a thousandfold by leverage, the punch landed squarely on Chao Feng.
The water bowl shattered completely, countless stars extinguishing in an instant. Space fragments scattered everywhere, inflicting secondary havoc on Chao Feng. Letting out a harrowing wail of agony, the thousand-zhang-long dragon tumbled out, its massive form barely holding together after Nezha’s devastating blow.
The Dragon Clan’s famed recovery abilities were formidable, but even they couldn’t withstand such brutality. Chao Feng’s dragon body, already deteriorating, could no longer recover under the assault of the Space Dao and the Power Dao, rendering his inherent regeneration useless.
Chao Feng now truly felt death’s grip closing in. Beasts often lash out most ferociously when mortally threatened—let alone the Ancestor Dragon’s Third Prince.
In that instant, Chao Feng’s primal instincts fully awakened as he charged directly at Nezha. Unfazed, Nezha roared, "Unleash!" Heaven, Earth, Human, and Self—the Four Symbols activated all at once, and he shouted again, "Unite!"
The Self Symbol merged directly into Nezha’s body. His originally 1.6-meter frame swelled to over 300 meters, sprouting an extra pair of arms. The serene golden visage of the Human Image, the ferocious dark face of the Earth Image, and the majestic purple-golden aura of the Heaven Image all converged behind Nezha, manifesting as a three-headed, eight-armed form.
"Chao Feng, this grandpa’s sending you off to see Grandma this instant!"
Chao Feng’s response was a furious dragon roar.
He opened his massive jaws and unleashed a scorching blast of Dragon Breath. Nezha countered with the Fire-tipped Spear, thrusting forward as raging Samadhi Fire clashed violently against the Dragon Breath.
One man, one dragon—they cared nothing for the terrifying heat surrounding them, colliding head-on in their most primal forms. Both had gone utterly berserk, using every part of their bodies as weapons.
This time, the three-headed, eight-armed Nezha had the clear advantage over a two-armed dragon. With eight hands, some wielding Treasures and others bare fists, Nezha unleashed relentless assaults. Chao Feng coiled his dragon form tightly around Nezha, breathing Dragon Breath continuously and slashing with his claws.
Dragon blood and dragon scales rained down profusely, and Nezha’s Dharma Body grew fainter and fainter. Yet, ultimately, Chao Feng couldn’t outlast Nezha’s perpetually replenished energy. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Noticing the weakening of Chao Feng’s strength, Nezha erupted with one last surge of power. Two of his arms grasped Chao Feng’s upper and lower jaws, two seized his Dragon Horns, while the final two pummeled his reverse scales.
Weakened and fatigued, the area surrounding Chao Feng’s reverse scales suffered devastating damage. His entire body went limp as Nezha, with a mighty heave, tore him off, swung him in a vicious arc, and slammed him down with earth-shattering force.
Finally, Chao Feng ceased to struggle. His colossal dragon body dropped like a sandbag, smashing into the ocean surface with an ear-splitting crash, creating an enormous crater and triggering towering waves.
Take them down while they’re weak. Nezha wasn’t one for mercy.
He gripped the hundreds-meter-long Fire-tipped Spear with all eight hands, pointed its tip down at Chao Feng, and poured in all his might, driving it downward. The entire Dharma God burned into a terrifying crimson meteor, hurtling toward Chao Feng below.
"Chao Feng, die by my hand!"
Boom!
The seawater that had just returned was evaporated once more by the colossal heat. The fiery spear, brimming with overwhelming heat and force, pierced through Chao Feng’s skull and drove into his brain, igniting a horrifying wave of Samadhi Fire that devoured everything.
Chao Feng’s brain was utterly incinerated.
Though his dragon body kept twitching in agony, smashing the surrounding ground and sea, the Ancestor Dragon’s Third Prince had truly fallen.
Nezha couldn’t help but reflect on that moment. This had to be one of the toughest fights of his career—this sense of limitation was utterly infuriating.
Nezha didn’t touch the other objects Chao Feng had carried, only taking the Little Fire Stick. He retracted his Dharma Form as his figure grew faint and, not long after, Little Brother appeared at the scene.
Little Brother, looking at the lifeless Chao Feng, showed no signs of excitement and instead searched the area anxiously.
"Just a small loach—did you think I’d get into trouble?"
Hearing that, Little Brother lit up with joy, his face alight as he saw the ever-calm Nezha.
"Impressive!"
"Piece of cake."
The two fell silent for a moment, and it was Nezha who spoke first.
"I’m leaving."
Little Brother was reluctant to part, but he knew the price that came with this path.
Nezha extended his hand with a smile. "Remember our promise?"
At that, Little Brother managed to shake off some of his sorrow, put his hands on his hips, and declared proudly, "Of course!"
"Then take my place and become a hero. I have to continue my journey along the Immortal Dao."
Little Brother gave a defiant huff, clapping his palm against Nezha’s.
"I’ll definitely become the greatest hero!"
