Chapter 295: Chapter 294: Fight with Kali

As expected, the Five-Colored Stone, which originally symbolized balance in the Five Elements, quickly turned black as it was invaded by the Power of Destruction. With a sharp crack, the stone shattered, revealing a pitch-black woman with multiple arms and a grotesque, tongue-flicking visage that radiated terror.

A Female Rakshasa?

What kind of background does she have? For a moment, Nezha couldn’t figure it out.

The woman showed no intention of exchanging pleasantries, brandishing an assortment of mismatched weapons as she charged straight at Nezha.

Nezha wasn’t someone with a good temper either. Judging by her horrendous appearance, it was clear she wasn’t up to anything good!

He summoned the God Slaying Spear and gave it a flick, enveloping the spear tip in a cluster of silver-white light. With a ferocious thrust, a terrifying force erupted, shooting out shards of space fragments and killing intent.

The dark-skinned woman was knocked back half a step by the monstrous force but managed to wedge the God Slaying Spear tightly between a scimitar, a longsword, and a golden pestle. With her remaining arms, heedless of self-inflicted injuries, she hurled a head, a shield, and a trident at Nezha’s direction.

That attack from Nezha wasn’t weak, but its limited effect was due to a notable cultivation disparity between them. Nezha was a Golden Immortal, but the dark-skinned woman was likely at the early Daluo Golden Immortal stage of the Mystic Sect.

It had been ages since Nezha had encountered an opponent he could fight without restraint, and he was feeling exhilarated!

"So you think having more hands makes you special, huh?"

With a mere thought, eleven figures materialized around him. Joining his hands together, he summoned eleven Six-Armed Buddhas in Vajra Buddha Demon form, who encircled and began pummeling the dark-skinned woman in a coordinated assault.

Well, it was more accurate to say the dark-skinned woman was kicking nine shades out of eleven Nezhas.

The ten-foot golden body technique hadn’t been cultivated for long, and this dark-skinned woman was truly formidable.

But at the very least, this bought Nezha some time.

"Infinite Dao Domain, open!"

The surroundings shifted from the Primordial Continent to what seemed like a boundless Star Sea within moments.

Countless stars began aligning themselves, led by the Sun Star and the Taiyin Star, automatically forming a massive Yin Yang Formation.

Nezha raised both hands, causing the Yin Yang Formation to spin rapidly. The harmony of Yin and Yang generated an astronomical power far exceeding anything expected from their sum.

In the midst of the battle, the dark-skinned woman’s rage grew as she felt an invisible, enormous force of gravity and repulsion tearing at her.

With a roar, Kali forced Nezha’s clones back with a single sweep. Her pitch-black feet stomped furiously on the ground, generating a strange power that resisted the formation’s gravitational forces and even disrupted the cosmic order of the stars.

Nezha could sense that her cultivation level was mediocre, but her combat strength was undeniably fearsome.

He summoned the Mountain Opening Axe and funneled the entirety of his mana into it, swinging it viciously at the dark-skinned woman. The colossal blade arc bore down on her, but Kali stopped her stomping and made no attempt to dodge, instead pressing all her weapon-wielding arms together, channeling Power of Destruction through them to meet the strike head-on.

The black Power of Destruction collided with the axe’s energy. Her shield and sword fractured and shattered before finally absorbing the full brunt of Nezha’s attack.

She seemed utterly indifferent to the destruction of her treasures, lunging forward with feral aggression to attack Nezha directly at close range.

Nezha waved a hand, instantly reversing Yin and Yang, sending Kali hurtling toward the Sun Star. The terrifying Great Sun Golden Flame ignited her garments and the skull necklace around her neck, even singeing the beard of the head she held in her hands.

Yet evidently, the Sun Star’s searing projection was insufficient to obliterate her. With another enraged roar, she enveloped herself in the Power of Destruction.

The consuming force instantly destroyed all her charred flesh imbued with Great Sun Golden Flame. However, within moments, her flesh began to regenerate completely, unmarred by prior injuries.

Nezha felt a headache coming on. That previous attack would have critically injured a normal Immortal, but this being barely seemed phased despite her intense regeneration.

Not to mention, her nakedness was a bit of an eyesore. While her physique wasn’t terrible, Nezha couldn’t help but think that dark skin wasn’t really his type.

Flipping his hand, he summoned a storm of Xuanyuan Swords, which rained down in a dazzling barrage.

Kali used her remaining weapons to slash and deflect them, yet the power of the Xuanyuan Sword proved overwhelming, leaving her weapons riddled with cracks in no time.

Extending one arm to her armored chest, she fished out a pitch-black longsword. With a sweeping motion, the horrifying killing aura emanating from it obliterated many of the Xuanyuan Sword projections.

Nezha’s gaze sharpened as he caught sight of the character for "Destroy" inscribed on the sword.

"Old Luo, you really rate your boy highly, huh?"

Kali let out another furious roar, wielding the Destroying Immortal Sword with such speed and ferocity that it created an impenetrable wall of attacks. Her other arms, wrapped in the dark Power of Destruction, clenched into fists as she charged straight toward Nezha.

The ominous sensation of the Destroying Immortal Sword’s edge pressing toward him forced Nezha to intensify his focus. If he took even one hit, it would all be over.

But he hadn’t come across such a thrilling opponent in millennia. Seizing his God Slaying Spear in one hand, with white light trailing from his other fist, he charged right back at her.

Spear lights and sword shadows collided, fists flying in a fierce clash of two unrelenting warriors.

The battle raged on for hundreds of exchanges, with Nezha gradually falling into a disadvantage.

The gap in cultivation levels became more evident, and Kali’s resistance to the God Slaying Spear was astonishing, while Nezha dared not directly confront the Destroying Immortal Sword.

Clang!

The God Slaying Spear intersected with the Destroying Immortal Sword as Nezha’s Dao Fruit circulated at its peak. The Power Dao materialized on his left hand as he launched an unpretentious but forceful strike toward Kali’s chest.

Kali raised two fists infused with dark light to block while two other arms struck at Nezha violently.

Indeed, in close combat, having more arms was undoubtedly an advantage.

Nezha’s arms were fewer, but the same couldn’t be said for Nezha himself.

Behind him, a golden-robed Nezha projection flickered into existence, wielding a small bell that he swung directly at Kali’s head. A carefully prepared attack landed squarely.

Dong! Clang!

Two sounds echoed simultaneously.

Nezha was sent flying from a few heavy blows, crashing into a distant star. Fortunately, with numerous Protective Dharma Treasures, he avoided any serious injuries.

Kali, however, was far less fortunate. A counterfeit Chaos Bell being used was still a Chaos Bell. It was Nezha’s most refined imitation of the Heavenly Creation Treasure, and even 70% of its components were authentic. Taking such a blow to the head would floor anyone.

The strike didn’t send Kali flying; instead, the Chaos Bell locked her spatially in place, preventing her from dissipating the horrifying force she absorbed.

Unable to release the force, it reverberated endlessly through her body, causing high-frequency tremors that reversed her blood flow, collided her organs, and triggered violent, irregular impacts between her very cells. Her outward appearance remained intact only because the Chaos Bell had frozen time.

After three long breaths, the Chaos Bell’s power finally dissipated. With a sickening splat, Kali’s entire body erupted like a Splatoon warrior, hurling blood, organs, brain matter, and bone shards as deadly projectiles, leaving her form completely shattered.

The scene was frankly stomach-turning.

Kali’s regenerative ability was formidable, but even she required both time and energy to recover from such catastrophic injuries. Nezha certainly wasn’t about to give her a single moment to recuperate.

With a pointed gesture, thousands of God Slaying Spear projectiles pierced toward Kali from all directions. Her writhing form seemed desperate to cry out, but her throat and vocal cords had long since been obliterated.
