The Hunter's Lively Wife-Chapter 1782 Awkward
After all, the Prince of Chu is a royal, and Gu Ya’s status is merely that of a commoner. Despite the help of the Prince Ning, dealing with the Prince of Chu is no easy task. Su Yunjin was afraid that Gu Ya might get injured or encounter an accident, so she specifically advised Gu Ya to be careful.
"Yunnian, I promise you." Gu Ya nodded solemnly. He still had to take care of his little wife and two children, so Gu Ya would not let anything happen to himself.
Su Yunjin embraced Gu Ya and, after holding him for a while, finally looked up and asked Gu Ya, "Husband, is the place where you want the children and me to go far?" If it’s too far, Su Yunjin was a bit worried that the two children might not be able to bear it, as Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua had never been far from home. Normally, the two children were usually at home, cared for by the nursemaids and Aunt Bao and others.
Traveling too far suddenly, if the two children weren’t used to it, they might easily fall ill. Su Yunjin felt a tinge of worry. However, Gu Ya said, "Yunnian, the place I want you and the children to go isn’t far; you’ve been there before."
"I’ve been there before?" Su Yunjin’s round eyes suddenly opened wide. Her expression was filled with surprise and astonishment as Su Yunjin never imagined that Gu Ya would say the place is somewhere she had been before.
But Gu Ya didn’t elaborate further; instead, he left Su Yunjin in suspense, saying, "Yunnian, once you arrive at that place, you will know."
Aunt Bao and Aunt An carried the two children into the courtyard. Su Yunjin heard the children’s cries and realized that time was urgent. Since Gu Ya said that the place wasn’t far, she saw no need to ask further questions. For now, she should leave with Gu Ya and ask all the questions in her heart once they reached the destination.
Su Yunjin turned back to look at the clothes and jewelry she packed and decided to take them and leave. Understanding his little wife’s intentions, Gu Ya took hold of the items before she could reach for them. "Yunnian, let me." Gu Ya insisted on carrying them, and Su Yunjin didn’t object.
The remaining bundles contained clothing. As Su Yunjin went to pick up the rest, Gu Ya still wouldn’t let her carry them, "Yunnian, leave all of these to me. You don’t need to carry anything." As he spoke, Gu Ya hoisted the two bundles that Su Yunjin had packed onto his shoulder.
Su Yunjin observed Gu Ya carrying so many things without seeming flustered. After a moment of surprise, she decided not to compete with him.
If Gu Ya wants to carry them, let him. It relieved her, after all.
Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua were held by the nursemaids and Aunt Bao. The little ones had just been sleeping but woke up crying. Little Yuanbao was calm, and after a couple of whimpers, he stopped. Little Tiangua, however, cried continuously at the top of her lungs. Climbing into the carriage, Su Yunjin saw her daughter crying pitifully.
Heart aching, she immediately reached out to hold her, "Aunt, give the child to me." Taking Little Tiangua from Aunt Bao’s arms, Su Yunjin skillfully patted her back and gently soothed her.
Little Tiangua seemed to recognize that her mother was holding her. Once in Su Yunjin’s arms, Little Tiangua quickly stopped crying and nestled closer to Su Yunjin’s embrace.
Seeing Little Tiangua’s hunger, Su Yunjin instinctively planned to loosen her clothes to feed the child, but then remembered that there were others in the carriage.
"Madam, let me feed the little one for you," the nursemaid offered, realizing that Little Tiangua was hungry, too. Su Yunjin glanced at the nursemaid but didn’t hand Little Tiangua over. Instead, she looked at Gu Ya, who was seated beside her.
The nursemaid had focused solely on feeding the child and had forgotten Gu Ya was present. Realizing that he was still there, the nursemaid’s face showed a hint of embarrassment.
