Ye Gou was equally punished, but Qing Lan wasn't done. She turned her attention back to Ye Shou, who quickly had a bad premonition.

"You spoke again, so another punishment." She calmly said and dealt another blow at Ye Shou.

Ye Shou grunted in pain. After all, Qing Lan used her silk scarf to deal with the blow that pierced through his thick defense.

The swiftness and brutality in her action startled many in the Clan Hall.

Once the punishment was imposed, Qing Lan returned to Ye Ming's side with a gentle and sweet smile. It was as if she had never left and was always attending by his side.

A few seconds later, Ye Ming yawned softly before continuing his listing.

"Ye Shou surely didn't commit the three taboos because he knew how to bypass it. He didn't kill or loot, but he sure as hell blackmailed a group of female cultivators into servicing him. This incident was reported to my bastard father. But he seemed to be very busy to not follow up on the situation."

As soon as Ye Xuan's name was brought up, his eyes widened in disbelief.

His eyes then darted at Elder Ye Chang, who promptly feigned ignorant. It was about time he got a taste of his own medicine.

When Ye Xuan noticed how Elder Ye Chang ignored him, he was stupefied.

"There's no need to look at him. He didn't get a chance to report to you because when he wanted to meet with you, you gave him the cold shoulder." Ye Ming snickered coldly.

"What do you mean?" Ye Xuan twitched his brows. "I've never even seen or got reported about Ye Shou's issues."

"Elder Ye Chang has every detail of the account listed. You told him that you were busy so he should just drop the report for you to look at it later on. However, time went by and there was never a follow-up. Is that not your fault?"

Nodding, Ye Ming also had no intention of pinning this blame on Ye Xuan either. Oversight was a common mistake when dealing with many things.

He only called him out to justify the punishment that he would impose.
