Li Qing shook his head, "No problem!"
It was probably because last time at Sister Hu’s place, after being forced into it, that woman really held a grudge.

Li Qing chuckled, locked the consulting room door behind him, pressed Xu Keqing against the wall, and began unbuttoning her white lab coat.

Xu Keqing suddenly realized, "Oh, I remember now, that little boy for whom the whole hospital had a consultation and still couldn’t figure out what was wrong?"
Li Qing nodded.
"I heard from the internists that the boy seems to have been hexed. Do you know anything about it?" Xu Keqing asked curiously.
Li Qing shook his head, "I’m not sure about that."
"The doctors all talk about it like it’s something supernatural. The internists are pretty certain it’s a hex, but as doctors we can’t really say that out loud. He woke up on his own, right? Honestly, we see this kind of thing quite a bit in internal medicine, happens about seventeen or eighteen times a year," Xu Keqing explained.
"He did wake up on his own," Li Qing acknowledged, then inquired further, "Are these sorts of incidents common?"
"If you’re curious about these kinds of events, you could go ask the old man who cleans the bodies in the morgue when you’re free. He probably has enough stories to fill several books. The hospital is full of strange happenings," Xu Keqing said, shaking her head.
Only then did Li Qing realize that it was he who had been oblivious all along.

After leaving Xu Keqing’s place, Li Qing headed straight to the hospital ward.
Although Qi Mengru’s son had awakened, he was still a key patient under careful observation in the intensive care unit.
When Li Qing entered, the chubby kid was playing with his mom, hopping and jumping around as if nothing was wrong.
"Uncle Li, did you come because my mom missed you?" the little boy asked in a chirpy voice.

Then she turned to Li Qing and said, "Xiao Li, don’t mind the child’s nonsense. I was just talking about moving you to a different dormitory."
Li Qing of course knew that Qi Mengru couldn’t possibly miss him.
Someone of her status, with high education, and being so beautiful, how could she ever fall for him!
It would be good enough if she simply didn’t dislike him.
"I know, it looks like Xiao Shu is all better, right?" Li Qing asked.
"He can be discharged from the hospital this afternoon," Qi Mengru said with a smile, "Thank you so much!"
