Chapter 365: Chapter 365- What Happened To The Wudang Sect?

After a moment, Althorne regained his composure and he gently pushed Sol’s hand away before retreating and saying angrily.

"Big Brother Sol, you’re messing up my hair."

Althorne then started fixing his hair that Sol messed up.

"Haha, sorry. Here, these are the five million mid-grade Aether Stones as I promised. My feet didn’t leave the stage, but I supposed it’s all the same."

Sol extended his hand which now held a simple storage bag inside.

Althorne smiled but he didn’t approach to receive the storage bag, he instead waved his hand and sent it flying over.

"Thank you, Big Brother Sol, Althorne hopes to see you again."

Sol laughed and said.

"Of course, the Academy might be large, but we’ll surely run into each other in the future. Who knows, it might be very soon, when one of us least expects it."

Althorne’s body couldn’t help but stiffen upon hearing that, and he stared at Sol silently for a moment.

Unable to find the right words to say, Althorne could only smile and nod before turning around to fly off. His destination was the exit of the Martial Hall Pagoda.

After watching Althorne fly off, Sol’s gaze shifted to land on Altair and Quilt, who were floating several hundred meters away. He smiled and nodded to them as if in greeting.

However, Quilt and Altair’s expressions changed, and without returning Sol’s greeting, they turned and flew to exit the Martial Hall Pagoda.

Sol watched them as they went, the smile never leaving his face.

Afterward, Sol turned away.

"They would think twice before trying that shit again."

Sol muttered, finally voicing his suppressed fury. However, just this wasn’t enough, his spiteful nature was aroused too greatly because of the two events that just transpired.

If one looked at it on the surface, what Altair and Quilt did was nothing compared to Althorne’s blatant attack. However, the reality was that it was far worse.

After Sol had announced his name and the crowd reacted like they did, Altair and Quilt had glanced at each other. In that glance, they had both decided to use this opportunity to try and kill him, with the pretense of getting the five million mid-grade Aether Stones.

But after Altair had failed his surprise attack, they switched tactics and Quilt stepped in. It might have seemed like his goal was to merely get Sol to move, however, that would be extremely contradictory to the fact that his first move was meant to kill.

What was worse, the moment Quilt stepped out to face Sol, Altair had folded his hands.

Sol could tell he had done so to hide his hand signs.

As for Altair’s pale face and weakened appearance after casting four 4th Class spells, it was all an act so Sol would take his focus off of him.

Perhaps they intended to use this opportunity to get rid of a potential competition.

"After my second refinement and absorbing a second portion of my bloodline, my physical strength should be on par with someone in the mid to late stages of the Earth Expanse Realm. But even so, Quilt’s first attack would have been enough to force me into a disadvantageous situation for Altair to make a move in secret. Thankfully, I had my Fist Intent."

Comparing this scheme to Althorne’s outright and shameless attack to disrupt his enlightenment, it was more vicious. At most Sol felt slight anger towards Althorne.

For Altair and Quilt, however, he might have killed them where they stood.

Sol wasn’t joking when he said he would let them off for now. The only reason he didn’t retaliate was because he was dealing with a few issues with his cultivation at the moment.

Thinking back to the three seals on his Mortal Palace, Sol couldn’t help but release a helpless sigh.

Glancing down at the bracelets around his wrists and ankles, Sol asked doubtfully.

"Should I have refined my body a second time? Now that I’ve absorbed a second portion of my bloodline, the bracelet’s sealing effects have started to lessen. I can’t even release my full cultivation base without having the aura of my crescent moon Enigma radiating out."

Sol sighed once more but he found a silver-lining.

"At least it’s not the aura of my Holy Crest that’s leaking out. I don’t fear letting anyone sense my Enigma since it’s practically unknown, but I don’t want to just reveal it so casually. Besides, these seals are not so bad, they’re slightly beneficial to my training. Plus, I can hide my presence more easily with my suppressed cultivation base."

"Sol!"

Sol glanced down upon hearing Yoon-Jae’s call. He used his bracelets on his ankles to lower himself towards the stage.

"Are you continuing?"

Mar-Dule asked as he and Yoon-Jae as well as Woo-Seong came over. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

Sol glanced around at the chattering crowd. He could only see a sea of heads.

Almost all of the stages in the area were devoid of people, several tens of thousands of disciples were crowding around the stage they were on.

Shaking his head, Sol said.

"My identity has already been revealed so I won’t be able to stea-I mean, learn some cool Techniques."

Woo-Seong showed a bitter expression upon hearing that, while Yoon-Jae shook his head slightly and Mar-Dule chuckled in amusement.

The four then floated up into the air and shot towards the exit of the Martial Hall Pagoda.

Upon seeing this, the numerous disciples around the stage looked heartbroken as they voiced their regret for Sol leaving. Especially the disciples who had just made it here. They were devastated that it took them this long to come over.

The four youths touched down at the double doors of the Martial Hall Pagoda and walked out on foot.

Before leaving, Sol glanced back at the disciples chattering. The Martial Hall Pagoda was several times noisier than when he first came.

"So much for staying low-profiled, ha-ha."

Sol said sheepishly as he chuckled and scratched his cheek. He then followed the others and left the Martial Hall Pagoda the way he came in.

However, now there was an additional member in their group.

Outside, the four youths walked and chatted about the events that had just transpired. The most exciting one was Woo-Seong.

"Brother Sol, I was watching your matches, and you were extremely domineering!"

He gave Sol a thumbs up.

Mar-Dule, being unable to keep his curiosity in check, turned to Woo-Seong and asked.

"What are you doing here?"

Woo-Seong grinned.

"I came to reclaim my fourth rank position on the Heaven Arena Rankings!"

"Did you win?"

Sol asked, and Woo-Seong’s grin widened even further as he said nonchalantly.

"Of course, Brother Sol, how could I lose to those outsiders? My opponent was a strong Paladin Warrior of the church, but his sword skills need a few more years before he can match my current level!"

Woo-Seong was swelling with pride, but Mar-Dule frowned and said.

"Fool, I wasn’t talking about that, I’m talking about you being here and not in the Wudang Sect."

Woo-Seong’s continence changed at that, and Sol seeing this asked.

"What happened to the Wudang Sect?"

Mar-Dule sneered before explaining.

"After it was found out that they were stealing Innate Dharmas, the entire Jianghu went into an uproar. Several members of the Wudang Sect outside were even killed when the news started spreading. But the Shaolin Sect soon stepped in and forced them to close their doors while stripping away all of their rights as a Holy Sect. Members of the Wudang Sect were also forbidden to step foot outside the Sect for sixty years."

Mar-Dule then turned to glare at Woo-Seong as he asked.

"Bastard, did you sneak out to avoid punishment?"
